Fabulous place for my mom, the staff is terrific and cares so much for the residents and keeping them safe and happy. I recommend this place highly!!

My mother moved into her new suite at The Birches in April, 2019. She had previously lived with my wife and I for 3 years. In those years, Mom would spend the day in her pajamas and watching television. All though we made her meals and dispensed her meds, we saw that her health was declining and her muscles were getting weaker due to lack of activity. Mom had become a fall risk. It was time to look for a safe place for her to eat properly, monitor her meds, introduce physical activity and rebuild a social interaction with people of her age. I had spent several months visiting personal care facilities in the Holland-Newtown area, trying to find just the right one for Mom’s comfort. The only facility I had visited twice and eventually became my choice, was The Birches! I liked the fact that it was a smaller, modern facility with the right amenities to be a good fit for Mom. It was obvious that the whole staff (Director, Marketing, Nursing, Med Techs, Physical Therapy, Activities, Dining, Housekeeping and Receptionist), were professional and genuinely cared for the residents at The Birches!  A special thanks to [name removed], from the Birches Marketing Team, for her professional guidance which led me to the decision to bring Mom to her new home! The transition from my home to her new suite was seamless and she quickly settled in. In no time, Mom was back to her own self, meeting new friends, socializing, attending activities and taking local trips on the Birches shuttle. With daily exercise, Mom got a lot of her strength back.  At age 87, my Mom has an enjoyable life - THANKS TO THE BIRCHES !!!

This is a great facility! I had to recently relocate my mother from the DC Area where she had been in her current home for more than 42 years in a rushed situation. At the age of 91, this is difficult. The staff at Heritage Green worked with me to make the transition as smooth as possible and made sure that she was given the attention she needed. From the minute I walked in to Heritage Green to fill out the paperwork, all of the staff were so pleasant and displayed a caring feeling. As I walked over to see where Mom would be staying, I saw first hand how the staff interacted with the residents. They are caring, patient, and expressed to me when I asked one staff member that she treats the residents as she would her Grandmother because she know one day she will be like them. The food is great and the daily activities are varied and provide something that everyone enjoys. They even take the residents out for rides in the van several times a week just so they can get out. If you are looking for a place to put Mom or Dad when they need assistance, this is definitely the place for them to be. It gives me peace of mind that she is well cared for and happy. While I went every day in the beginning to check on her, I now go just to see her. No matter when I showed up, morning, noon, afternoon, evening or weekend, it was always a positive and productive attitude with the staff members. They even go so far as to provide things for them to do on the weekends. This is such a plus as it gets boring if they do not have activities. Heritage Green also has activities during the month that engage the general public. They are seminars on subjects that are of interest or just events for fun. This is an additional way to engage the residents with the world around them. I cannot say enough good things about Heritage Green. This is just an awesome place! If you are looking into a facility, this should be the only place you look.

My mom has been a resident of Heritage Green for 2 years, and I would recommend this facility to others. The staff are kind and understanding and know how to deal with sometimes challenging patients in the memory care area. They really try to keep the residents involved and offer a variety of daily activities.

Not only do the residents feel at home, but visiting family members also feel like a part of the Heritage Green family. We are greeted by name and with smiles when we visit my brother, who has lived in memory care at Heritage Green for almost one year. As his illness has progressed, the care he receives has also increased; therefore, we have peace of mind concerning his well being. The staff is attentive, and the residents have enjoyable activities daily, including outings on the Heritage Green bus, cupcake parties, sing-alongs and musical entertainment, and crafts. Thank you, Heritage Green Staff, for your friendliness and service.

The staff at Heritage Green is amazing! After visiting a couple of nearby facilities, we quickly knew Heritage Green was "the one." Dad had Alzheimer's and needed 24-hour care. So we moved him (along with mom, to be by his side) into the Memory Care unit in August 2018. The staff treated dad with love, respect, and dignity while he was a resident for nearly 10 months. Many of the staff members became family to my parents, my sister, and me. If we ever have a question or concern, staff and/or administration is quick to respond by phone or email. While dad has since passed, mom is looking forward to moving to the Assisted Living unit at Heritage Green. There are numerous activities and outings to keep her busy and stimulated. I can't thank the staff enough for taking such wonderful care of my parents.

Couldnt ask for a better place for Mom,

Grace Church Bethlehem spent some time without a church building. During that time, Traditions warmly welcomed a women's bible study, lead by Grace members into their facility. We have had the pleasure of meeting there for 2 years where we have found everyone from the desk clerk, to the service department, to the the residents very pleasant and helpful. Our studies are open to all residents. The ones that have joined us have shared how Traditions has gone from a facility to their HOME and that is exactly how it feels to us as we enter each week. We are Thankful for their generosity and hospitality.

Mom is never in her room they always have something to do at Traditions . The staff is great and do there best to accommodate the residents in every way possible . Mom gave up her car like most do because transportation is provided to doctors and stores . But the best thing is that someone is there 24hrs 7days a week , I live 72 miles away when I got a call at 11pm that my mom was not well and was on her way to Hospital so I was able to call the hospital ck on her and go up in the morning and take care of things on a full nights sleep . There Staff is completely assume !!!

Home I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone who cared for my Father! The most amazing was everyone knew him by name. Thank you for your time, patience, and information on his condition. Chestnut Knoll is a warm and caring home away from home, lots to do and good food. Once again Thank You for all you do. [Name removed]

My Mom has been at Chestnut Knoll memory care since early August 2018, Her health and appearance has improved remarkably. She also no longer has to worry about day to day tasks that were making her anxious because the staff make her feel at ease and cared for, My wife and I are very happy we chose Chestnut Knoll because we know Mom is safe and well cared for by people who care,

My grandmother has been a resident at Manor Market Square for almost a year. I visited several places when considering a new home for my grandmother and there was no comparison, Manor Market Square was the right place for her. Every time I visit, I observe how clean everything is, how friendly the staff are, and all the wonderful activities that my grandmother participates that she enjoys. She is doing things she hasn’t done in years and has ample opportunity to get to know the other residents. I feel confident that I made the right decision to move her here . If given the choice again, I would choose Manor Market Square.

We are very pleased and definitely impressed with the assisted living care that Heritage Green provides my mother-in-law. Making matters better, SHE really likes the facility and adapted to that type of living beginning the day that she moved in.

All of the staff have been very friendly and helpful. The food my parents get is excellent. I have personally ate lunch with them & have enjoyed my meals.

The entire staff is awesome. Very loving and caring From the kitchen to maintenance, personal care unit and management. They cared for my mother in law to a quality second to none. We are very pleased with their personal attention to her and us, the family. If I could give them a 10 star I would. You won’t go wrong with putting the care of a loved one in their hands. They provide great activities And entertainment. [Name removed] the bus driver worked with us to get Mom to drs appointments even if it wasn’t on scheduled days. [name removed] the activities director, had first class entertainment. The kitchen provides wonderful food. If you can’t find something great to eat, you are way to picky. Their salad bar alone is awesome. Home made soups, at least 2 different entree’s. Everything was cooked to perfection. No mushy veggies with no flavor. I will stop now, just can’t say enough about this place. One more thing, their rent prices are also reasonable for what they provide, better than any other place we checked out. [name removed]

From the moment we walked through the doors for the first time,we were greeted by smiling and friendly faces from the staff as well as the residents. The atmosphere is very warm and home-like. My mother has a lovely and spacious one bedroom apartment. The meals are very good with a wide selection of food to choose from. There are many activities and social events to participate in. I feel we made an excellent decision when we choose Traditions of Hanover for my mother.

[Removed] was phenomenal! She contacted me several months in a row based on a referral from A Place for Mom. I eventually told her that I thought that the Birches was too far away, and we made final plans to move my mom into another community. I was wrong about the distance, and we lost valuable time. When my dad, sister, and I visited the community at the last minute, we loved it right away. I emailed [Removed] sometimes three or four times a day with questions during the three weeks before my mom became a resident. She always answered promptly and comprehensively. Without [Removed] help and guidance, my mom would be living in a different community. [Removed] is the best and is definitely an asset to The Birches!!!

Greenfield was a very nice facility. We really liked it when we toured. The sales guy was very nice and he gave us a lot fo good information. This was defiantly my second choice if we had not gotten a better deal at another place.

We wanted to comment on our family's experience with the Birches over the last 9 months. My father entered the Birches after leaving Arbor Square when he needed more care with some memory issues and medication management. The bright spot for us was the excellent level of attention and care he received in the "daybreak" area. We always felt confident that we was well cared for by a friendly and compassionate staff. It would be tough to single out any one of the caregivers because they were all excellent with Dad and we felt fortunate to have so a good team looking after him, which gave us peace of mind. We were impressed that everyday the residents were dressed and out of their room in the common areas with activities to help the time go by each day. Special thanks to the exceptional daybreak care team for all you do each day and every day.

After spending months trying to find memory care for my mother, I finally chose to select Heritage Green/Daybreak. The staff was friendly, the facilities clean and there always seemed be some nice activity taking place. Dollar for dollar, Heritage Green seems to offer the best care and surroundings for the monthly cost. The dining room is always spotlessly clean. The staff is friendly and positive. They work with the residents covering current events, memory games, musical performances/sing alongs, etc. The primary reason I gave only 4 stars on care services is due to staffing issues. I get the feeling this is prevalent in any facility at this particular time. With that said, it is evident that management is proactively working to make improvements in that area. Mom is very happy in her new home.
