From the moment my wife and I walked in the door, we knew Heritage Green would be the perfect place for my mom. She's been there 5 months now and we couldn't be happier. The staff is very caring and accommodating and the facilities are always clean and well maintained. As in any business, the personality of the business starts at the top and Heritage Green has an excellent director who is always available to address any concerns we may have.

They invited my father to lunch. They went out of their way to find a resident with similar life experiences to eat and talk with him. They genuinely seemed to care about him. Older building but smaller, more intimate dining rooms on each wing. Whole facility all on one floor.

Thank you to all the staff for the care my Dad, [Removed] received while he was in your care. I was very impressed with all of the staff and the overall community. The staff was friendly, compassionate and caring. I felt as he was in the best care available. Thanks again, [Removed]

How grateful my siblings and I were to have had a place such as Chestnut Knoll for my parents to live as they moved from northern PA to be closer to us. My father called it his "home away from home". Leaving the only home they knew was not easy, but the staff at Chestnut Knoll helped us to make it an easy transition for them. The staff members were caring, knowledgeable and displayed a sincere interest in my parents' well being. In spite of having very different needs, my father was paralyzed and my mother, his caregiver, had dementia, the staff made every effort to keep them together. When my father would talk to his brother "back home" he would say, "[Removed], there is always someone to talk to here and the food is delicious, especially the desserts". I will always be appreciative to Chestnul Knoll for providing a quality of life to my parents in their final years.

Keystone Villa is beautiful. Right now, I do not feel my mother would fit into the dementia unit. She would do well in the assisted area. The price is a little more than I was looking to spend at this time.

My mother, who is in Daybreak memory care with advanced dementia, is the happiest and healthiest she has been in many years. The staff not only cares for her physical well being with care, but makes sure that she keeps her dignity and her personality intact. And they do it with absolute dedication and focus. While others could well write about the great activities and clean site, my joy has been to see my mother cared for with love and attention that has made her personality blossom again. My father is grateful for her health, her lovely hairdo, and the fun she is having in her own way. She is safe and we can remain calm and be the family she needs.

In the end of September of 2016 my father, who was living in another facility at the time, had a life threatening fall. When he finally was released from the hospital and rehab we moved him into Memory Care at Chestnut Knoll. I cannot stress it enough to anyone who will listen, this is a wonderful place. It is a "home" in the truest sense of the word, a place you want to be, with people who love and care for you. From the moment you enter the front door you're met with smiling faces, it doesn't matter if they are residents or caregivers it seems everyone is happy to be there. Everyone there at Chestnut Knoll and I do mean everyone is so very kind to the residents, they tease and cajole but there can be no question that they all care deeply. Unfortunately my father is no longer at Chestnut Knoll as he passed away at the end of August. When I arrived to collect my father's belongings, I was greeted by each and every one of his caretakers with hugs and comments of how much he would be missed. I love all of them as I know my dad also loved them. If you take nothing else away from my dissertation, take this " You want your loved one to be part of this wonderful community ".

After visiting several senior living facilities Mom decided on Traditions of Hanover, what a great decision. The apartment, services, activities, and meals are great. What a difference I see in my mother. She has made many friends, and feels right at home.

This is a good community for excellent care. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The menu is outstanding with alot of good choices. We like that the staff is offering him to participate in activites. We would recommend this community for the good value and care for other families.

We toured this community for my mother. We would have moved into this community. The staff were professional and friendly. The building was clean and bright. There is a very nice outside area. Activities appeared to be varied and designed for each resident's needs. We especially liked that they offer physical therapy in-house. We would recommend anyone looking to take a tour at this facility as the quality and value seemed exceptional.

In [Removed], we placed my Dad in Chestnut Knoll's Evergreen Neighbor. My Mom had been taking care of him at their home. It became too much for her. My Dad knew he was in a "nice" place. My Dad really enjoyed living there. All of the staff took very good care of him. Unfortunately, my Dad recently passed away. He was placed in Hospice at Chestnut Knoll. When it became apparent, he would not live much longer, a lot of the staff came into his room to say their "good-byes". This was very touching to our family. It showed us that the staff cared about my Dad. He was not just a resident but he was a friend. I would definitely recommend Chestnut Knoll to anyone looking for an excellent facility to place a loved one. From his first day to his last day, everyone at Chestnut Knoll helped my Dad and my family get through this very tough time in our lives.

Very friendly and helpful staff and a well cared for facility

Our 96 year-old mother moved to Traditions of Hanover in Bethlehem after the death of her husband. Since moving to Traditions, she has absolutely thrived. Always a sociable person, she has made new friends. Staff are friendly, and genuinely care about the community members. We have dined with Mom at Traditions, and the food is very good. Staff know her food preferences. Since moving to Traditions, Mom has become stronger; her balance and mobility have improved. Most importantly, Mom says, "I am so glad I came here."

My parents live at Senior Commons since [Removed]. The dietary staff are vigilant to assure mom and dad eat well every day. The food is very good. Caregivers and nurses are kind, very attentive. They have embraced my parents as part of a big family. They assure all their needs all met quickly and keep me (daughter / POA) informed as needed via text and email. At my request, I would encourage anyone looking for senior care consider - Senior Commons of Powder Mill.

Our Mom went to check out Traditions and after touring the facility and seeing the bright and sunny 1 bedroom apartment available, immediately signed up. We liked the fact that she would be on a month to month lease and can give 30 days notice if it isn't working out. Mom's plan was to try it for 3 months and see how she liked it. After 9 days she said put my house on the market. Moving to Traditions has been the BEST decision she has made. The staff is friendly and happy. All the employees know the residents by name. There are so many activities to choose from, I now have to look at the monthly schedule to see if Mom might be in her apartment before I call her. This is just what we wanted for our 91 year old. Since she has been there she is stronger physically and having the time of her life!

After my father died we knew that my mother couldn't stay in the big, remote home where they had lived for 50 years. We did a tour of the area homes - and this one just clicked with us! My brother lives in Maine, and I live in Florida, but mom wanted to stay here to keep close to her doctors, and oversee the disposal of the family home. So we took a chance and she moved into Tradtions. Best move ever!!! From the incredibly warm and helpful staff, the great apartment, good food, great activities , friendly residents, and lovely setting - we could not be happier, or feel that she is safe and happy. My mom summed it up last week when she told me, "I feel like I'm blossoming here. I feel so alive". What could be better than that?

We toured this community and like the staff. The community is very clean and the menu has a lot of healthy choices. They have good activities that would have been helpful. We would recommend that others tour this community for the care of a loved on.

We liked this community. The staff was nice and caring. They wanted more money for different services for care. The community did not offer one price for the services needed. We wanted to find a community with a set fee for everything. Families should consider a tour to make sure they know what they are paying for.

The staff is phenomenal. I felt such support from the staff and they were very helpful with the move in. They are kind and they have bent over backwards for the family. My parents are enjoying the food and they offer a lot of choices. They have plenty of activities and the grounds are beautiful. The community is bright and they have high ceilings. This community offers three levels of care. We liked that they offer church services, however they are not aligned with any specific religion. I would recommend this community.

I am very happy to say I moved my mother to Traditions Of Hershey. The staff has been wonderful with mom. My mother has adjusted to the personal care unit without any problems. I have never been to a place where all the staff was so friendly and helpful.
