After touring several facilities in the berks co PA area, Keystone, by far, was the best and only choice for my mother. I can't say enough about every face of this facility. From management to wait staff, steller!! Clean, organized and most important genuine care and concern for their residents.

The staff at Keystone Douglasville have been very encouraging and caring with my Mom. It was very difficult for her to leave her home but she is healthier and physically and emotionally since she moved to The Villa.

Heritage green is a wonderful community. The staff is friendly and kind to the residents as well as their family and friends. The facility is very nice and the food is good too! The activities director is very attentive to the residents and keeps them involved with activities on campus as well as takes them out for lunch or out to shop or maybe just for a scenic ride and and a treat! We have been very happy with our mom's experience at Heritage Green and highly recommend it as the place for your loved one!

Heritage Green is a wonderful place to live. There are a lot of things to do. The activity director is very personable. The people and staff are really friendly and always willing to help.

Chestnut Knoll is an outstanding Facility, The staff from top to bottom take the time to make sure all the residents are happy. I have two grandparets that live full time here. They are always happy and content. There are plenty of activities to keep them busy and active. I never have to worry about how they are taken care of. The staff is helpful and respectful. My 81 year old mother, who has moderate dementia, spent a month in Heritage Green in Lynchburg this spring for respite care, and it was a great experience for her and our whole family. The facility is perfectly clean, has an updated look and is pleasant and comfortable with a number of different areas for the residents to spend their time in. The staff is outstanding and could not have been more welcoming--everyone we encountered was warm, caring and competent, and they seemed to know all the "tricks" to help manage people with dementia in a kind but effective way. We chose Heritage Green for her respite care in large part because of the facility and staff, but also because they offer a multiple daily activities, seven days per week (a lot of other places do not have activities on weekends, which we felt was a big problem). The residents seemed to love the activities which ranged from outings in the van, to hymn singing and music, to games and reading aloud. My mother enjoyed all of these, and the staff occasionally sent us photos of her participating, which our family appreciated. The food seemed very tasty and was fresh and hot in the dining area. My mother was clean, appropriately dressed and seemed to be very much enjoying herself whenever we stopped by (and visitors are welcomed any time, no notice needed). We will definitely choose Heritage Green for future respite care, and when the time comes for long term care, we are so happy that we have found a place where we feel confident my mother will be happy and will receive excellent compassionate care. Greenfield at Lansdale is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was a little out of my uncles budget, otherwise I think he would love living there.

An Excellent facility - highly recommended. From the minute I walked into The Birches, I knew this was the best place for our mom. I met with [name removed] in the Marketing Department who was gracious and calming. She worked closely with me to answer every question and sometimes even more than once since the process was rather overwhelming. I left feeling hopeful that this was the right move. Placement turned out to be much sooner than I anticipated but none-the-less, another call to [name removed] and she made it happen. I felt so supported and relieved since I was visiting from Florida and had no support people with me the following day when I knew that "day had come" to place my mom. The room is beautifully appointed and large. It is bright and cheery with a lovely view of the outdoors and 2 large windows. There is also a spot to store snacks, a small refrigerator and microwave...........and CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! My hat is off to Housekeeping!! Each staff person that I have met has been very caring and helpful towards myself and my mother. The transition has been tough but the staff have reached out and embraced her as a new resident - not to mention several new friends that my mom has made. The Waite staff in the dining room are very patient and do their utmost to please the residents. The meals are very good with several choices at each meal and then there are always "constant items" for those that love their Grilled Cheese or PB&J. Activities and varied and plentiful. The activities therapist encouraged us to join in and learn a new game as she instructed us all - step-by-step. Being a Registered Nurse and having been in numerous facilities that work with the elderly, I am so pleased and that my mom is here.

My Mother was living at Birches for a couple years, The care was top notch! They hire very nice people and nobody is left behind. Lots of activities to keep them going. Meals are very good. The place is kept very clean. It's a place where you would like to retire and meet lots of new friends and get the utmost care for a fair cost. [Name removed] the Director is very nice and she is always in touch. [Name removed] the head nurse is "In touch with all that comes his way". He kept me informed about any issues my mother had. The staff who helped my mother in her daily routine ( ie. getting in and out of bed and bathing and keeping her busy through out her day) were the best! She was Known as Aunt [name removed] to the staff and she was treated like family. Also this place has its own onsite physical therapy (FOX).

Traditions of Hershey is very family oriented community, families are welcomed and encouraged to visit. Good Food. Great Entertainment. Provide transportation to appointments. Apartments are very spacious. Front porch is a great place to sit on rocking chairs with other in the community. Great staff. A variety of activities from Wii, bowling, bingo, holiday parties, and happy hour. "It doesn't get any better than that."

After we decided to move my sister from Florida where she had lived in two different assisted-living facilities, our family moved her to Virginia to be near her sister. The first facility to contact me was Heritage Green. They answered all of my questions and set up an appointment immediately. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, friendliness, and the many activities provided for the residents. When we heard that they had a room available for my sister, we knew that Heritage Green was the right place for her. They went above and beyond to accommodate her transition and placement needs. She has been living at Heritage Green for one year and now considers it her home. Most important to us are the caretakers who surround her and provide her with compassionate care and service. I often recommend Heritage Green to friends and relatives who may have family members who are ready to transition to assisted living. As involved family members, we are learning to let go and rely more on the professionals at Heritage Green whom we trust to make the right decisions for the proper care of my sister. The staff at Heritage Green is taking wonderful care of my Mom on the Daybreak unit. They are so caring and I can tell they really care about her and her well being. I am thankful for Heritage Green everyday because I don’t have to worry about her. I know that she is safe and well taken care of all the time. My Dad was also a resident at Heritage Green before he passed away two years ago. The staff loved him as much as I did and always will. My mom has lived at Heritage Green for two years. She has access to lots of activities and participates in many. There was an adjustment period and she does occasionally have complaints about one staff member or another but I have found everyone to be very sweet and caring. Initially I received multiple phone calls a day from her but those lessened with time; now, I am lucky to call and find her in her room. She enjoys other residents’ company and is much more active than when she lived in her home alone. The residents can go on van rides 4 times a week, play memory games, attend movie nights and play bingo (my Mom’s favorite). There are planned family events and support meetings for family. It was a very hard decision for us to make to place Mom in Assisted Living. But concern for her health made that decision. Here we have access to 24 hour care available. She is more active, has a more regulated schedule and prescription management. I do recommend Heritage Green if you find your family at this stage with aging loved ones.

I’ve been spreading my love for Traditions for the past two and a half years my parents have called it Home. I'm prompted to write a review today because of the above and beyond care, especially from [name removed], my parents recently received when they were ill. The team at Traditions have become extended family to my parents and me. I share my highest recommendation. Here are some of the many reasons why: * The competent, compassionate and communicative group of professionals led by [name removed] truly care about the safety, happiness and well-being of the residents. * The vibrant, upbeat atmosphere and space. There is a lovely community living room area and sun-drenched dining room for gathering. For warmer weather, there's a patio and garden in the back. Always decorated for holidays. Apartments are spacious. Cleaning team does a great job. * Lots of fun activities, celebrations, outings, wellness and cultural events. Happy Hour is a particular favorite! * I can tell by the smiles and greetings from residents that they are well cared for. Thank you Team Traditions. I'm so grateful for all you do!

We knew right away this would be a safe and caring environment for our mother. Our concerns were less stressful just knowing that our mother was well taken care of each day… The staff is amazing and appreciated greatly. I cannot stress enough the attention to all details and questions myself and my siblings had when we were considering a place for our mother. We had absolutely everything we needed to make a decision on mom's care. We left our first meeting with Heritage Green personnel with feelings of trust and satisfaction, and this feeling has continued to this day!

She was exceptional - very knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and really gave us a great understanding of the services and care that is offered. The facility is very clean, fresh and welcoming.
