Everyone here is very nice. I don't have any problems. I attend the fitness classes and musical entertainment. 5 out of 5!

My parents have transitioned beautifully thanks to the care and attention the staff provides.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked the tour experience and the community itself, it seemed like it had really nice stuff within.

The categories 4-7 would probably get higher ratings but our loved one was only there for 26 hours.

Many games, puzzles, etc. Movies almost every day. The staff makes you feel you have a loving family.

I can't be more happy with all the help, they gave me at a very trying time. I wasn't able to care for my husband and [names removed] at Birches went above and beyond to quickly get my husband there.

Any facility is only as good as the people staffing it. Most of the nicer facilities are similar physically. It's the staff that makes The Birches exceptional. My contact is in the memory care section where the staff from the director down are caring and dedicated.

I love it here and don't have to do a darn thing. I love everything here the food, the activities. I never have a dull moment here. The staff here is great. I am very happy to be here.

A year ago my mother experienced a fall, needed physical therapy and some supportive supervision. Chestnut Knoll Assisted Living provided the Fox Physical Therapy Program, one of the few in PA with high caliber of quality. This enabled her to have therapy on site, while the dedicated staff was available to oversee her medications, provide assistance yet encourage her independence/autonomy in with her own room. She has become very engaged in activities she loves that are within walking distance: crafts, church, rosary, cards, bingo, movies, and weekly field trips. She truly enjoys 3 meals a day, every day that she truly raves about. The staff from various roles are very dedicated to her needs. Initially she was very skeptical of leaving her home and felt loss of control. Now a year later, she is very self sufficient, and enjoys helping other residents and the staff too. The entire Chestnut Knoll community has been a positive and amazing influence on her health overall!

Wonderful senior living community, the best in the area! The staff put together wonderful events for the residents and for the community as well. The building feels like you are very warm and welcoming, and the staff are all very friendly. The Executive Director gave me a tour and he was also very knowledgeable and knew all the residents and staff by their first names.

I'm a caregiver for one of the residents. Everyone from the front desk to the management staff is friendly and helpful. The activities and events are the best I've seen in this environment. Five stars!

This place is very convenient and the director [name removed] is very helpful, understanding, and willing to answer any questions. The staff are caring and pay attention to the needs of the residents. I see they also offer a variety of activities and events which is great to keep residents engaged and happy!

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour experience was great. However the did not have space, but would love to move our loved one in if a space becomes available.

My husband did not participate in activities, so I really don't know how good they were. His Dementia and Parkinson's prevented him. He deteriorated quickly in the time he was here, through no fault of the staff or the facility. I felt that the staff, except for 2 LPNs (I think) who gave excellent care, were not willing to give him the level of care he required during his last few weeks when he was bedridden and had a Foley catheter. I would recommend Senior Commons to friends and family.

The facility itself and the people were very nice at Chancellor's Village - it was just more than my family member needed. The level of activities and such. The quality of he rooms were very nice, but almost too nice for what he was looking for.
