It's excellent living here. I enjoy the meals I have gained 10 pounds since living here. I have made a lot of friends and enjoy playing games with them. The staff help me with whatever I need.

The Birches at Harleysville is an excellent place for my brother. He is doing much better.

My mother moved into Senior Commons at Powder Mill in March of 2022 for a time frame to recover from a small stroke. She wanted to return home and try one last time in November of 2022. In February of 2023 she fell at home and broke her arm and had to return. We actually live in Maryland and brought her to Senior Commons at the recommendation of a friend. The cost was much less than what we would pay in Maryland and the drive was manageable. Our experience was wonderful. The staff were so kind and took such good care of her every need. My mother could be very difficult and hard to really get to know, but the staff there truly took the time to care about her. They allowed her to make her choices and had great patience with her always. She had to go on Hospice and passed near Thanksgiving. The entire team was truly amazing during this time, communicated with us ongoing and held her hand when we couldn't. we will forever be thankful.

My 92 year old mother has been residing in Senior Commons since March 2023. I've waited awhile to write this review to make sure I felt the same way after after 9 months. I'm happy to say that the staff who work here are caring, friendly, and supportive to both the residents and families. This includes everyone from the dining room, front office, CPN's, maintenance, and activities directors. Everyone calls the residents by name as they greet them throughout the building! The Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director are available to assist with any concerns, offer advice, and work with the team to problem solve any issues that arise. They are very knowledgeable about the population and are very willing to work with the family and the resident. There have been several situations where my mother needed emergency care. The staff communicate every incident to the family in a timely manor. Senior Commons has exceeded my expectations in all categories!

My son did the leg work to get a list of of all Assistant living places. My wife at that time had problem walking. So I was elected to review the one that was picked. Which was Senior Commons. My impression of the place was all the personnel where very friendly and very cheerful. Everything looked clean and well taken care of. The Lady that showed us around ( I do not remember her name- very pretty) I was very pleased we what I saw and pleased of all the help we got. This is also after one year here.

[name removed] and [name removed] made the process easy and worry free. The entire staff have been very understanding, welcoming and helped my dad feel at home. A place for mom rep was amazing too!

I can not say enough about Keystone Villa in Fleetwood. From the first day, the staff has been excellent. My mom's transition to independent living has been wonderful. She is so happy there. I can not say enough about everyone there. With everything they offer, the price is very fair and the food is excellent. All I can say is it is by far the best choice we could have made for my mom. Everything about Keystone Villa exceeds our expectations.

I took a tour of the community recently for my mother. Our tour guide was extremely helpful in answering all my questions and made it a very positive experience. The staff were very passionate and caring for the Seniors. I got an in-depth explanation of the activities, meal plans, and everyday care routine for assisted living services. Ultimately we decided to take a different route and for now, my mother will stay with a family friend.

I enjoy the arts and crafts, jenga, mini-golf, and ladderball. I moved in here without any prior community experience, and it is nice. I struggle at times with anxiety and they are understanding and patient. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I love the food most about my stay here. It is very good each day. I also enjoy the music we have, I love singing Christmas songs this time of year! Everyone is friendly, and the staff help me out when I need it.

Keystone Villa at Fleetwood provided a home filled with love and compassionate care to our Grandparents in their last years. We would highly recommend Keystone Villa at Fleetwood. The team allowed our Grandparents to age in place with community and dignity.

When my family and I came to tour the community the environment and the feeling when you walk in was very welcoming. They answer all your questions and provide resources if needed. It was a positive experience all around.

Traditions of Hershey have a friendly staff who enjoy the residents and their work. I have witnessed the employees beginning lighthearted conversations with the residents. They are very welcoming to extended family too. The building is beautifully decorated. Managers connect people with common interests and where one person can provide conversational assistance due to circumstances in second person's life. There are many activities daily at Traditions and frequent trips (grocery and other shopping, fun trips, restaurants, dr appointments) if residents are able to travel. The maintenance staff have been easy to work with as they hung window hardware for curtains and hung pictures. Their apartment feels like home. The apartment door decorations give a cheerful, homelike appearance and tell of a person's interests. Use of laundry detergent, washers and dryers is included in monthly cost. My parents enjoy the meals and conversation with others. Traditions of Hershey has been a very good choice for my parents (in their 90s) since it allows them to be independent with assistance available if they have an immediate need.

Heritage Green Memory Care was a wonderful place for my dad. My dad was a high fall risk. He had a rare disease that brought on dementia and the loss of mobility within a week of each other. He would forget that he could not walk, try to stand up from his wheelchair or bed, and then fall. The staff at Heritage Green worked tirelessly to keep an eye on my dad to help prevent falls. His care staff were always on their feet, assisting the residents. The med tech would even take my dad around with her as she passed out medicine so that she could make sure he was safe. I have even witnessed the cleaning staff, therapy staff and marketing staff, sitting with and taking care of patients. The facility is set up much like a daycare center. The residents spend their day together in a common room with the staff. The activities director provides group and individual activities for the residents, which they all seem to enjoy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The residents seem happy when interacting with the staff, which is a testament to how they are treated. The staff also was incredibly supportive to me and they were very accessible at all times. They would call me often with updates. I highly recommend Heritage Green!

My grandmother was a resident for 2 years before she passed away at the Villa . During that time she received excellent care and enjoyed the many activities offered . The staff was always available to answer questions ! I would highly recommend touring this community!

My loved one is currently a resident at The Crossroads at Bon Air and everything has been great for her at this facility. One thought/suggestion I have: how are the activities and outings planned? I would recommend The Crossroads at Bon Air to others.

It's a very nice facility with great staff but food needs improvement. I would recommend Tradition of Hanover to others and also A Place for Mom!

December 8, 2023 My father moved into an independent living apartment at Senior Commons at Powder Mill earlier this week. Our experience with the entire staff, specifically [names removed] couldn’t have been better. From the very first time we visited, met [name removed] and she showed us around, we were very impressed. The facility is lovely and clean, people are so warm and welcoming and we immediately felt like this was the right place. Dining room is so nice and food has been excellent so far. Staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel at home and well cared for. I would also highly recommend, [name removed] who they recommended for moving his furniture and other belongings. He was excellent to deal with and the young men who actually moved the things were outstanding. Conscientious, hard working, kind and respectful. Overall we had a top notch experience and would highly recommend.

I like living here at Manor at Market Square. The staff takes great care of me. I have made lots of friends which has been nice for me.
