If you are looking for a place for yourself and/or your husband when you reach the age of saying "I cannot do it anymore", Traditions of Hanover is the perfect place to go! From the top of the staff to the bottom, plus the residents, are the most friendly, compassionate people there are.

I like it here. I like the crafts and entertainment. The food and service are good. The people are friendly and nice. I go for walks every day and do the PT they have here. Everything I need is right here.

My GRANDFATHER HAS BEEN A RESIDENT AT THE BIRCHES. SINCE MAY 2023, MOVING FROM ANOTHER LOCAL COMMUNITY AFTER BEING UNHAPPY, THE BIRCHES MAY HAVE A WAIT LIST AT TIMES TO MOVE IN, BUT IT'S WORTH THE WAIT. My GRANDFATHER IS SO MUCH HAPPIER HERE!

This is my opinion of Keystone Villa Douglassville Pa. Unbelievabley awesome. My journey stared [date removed] when i fell and had to have surgery. Unable to return home the nightmare started. I went to a LTC faclity for rehab. My time there was aprox 4-5 weeks. Being NWB I had to think where to go next due to still not being able to go home. My family checked out the Villa. My spirits were down and being only 64 years old not ready for my life to change to this. Being a nurse since 1978 and all most the last 35 yrs I was in LTC. From the minute I was wheeled in the front door I was greeted from the staff as if I was a family memeber who just returned home from vaction. It took me back to when I graduated from school and the medical professionals loved there job and had alot of caring and compassion. Threw the years the medical professions have changed and now its just a job to alot of people. The staff here is different. If they dont like it here or their job, they hide it well. There was not one staff member that I was in contact with that did not address me the minute they saw me and ask how i was doing and did I need anything. Even giving you encouragement when struggling to do things. When I say all staff I mean it's Not just the therapies, nurseing or activities but also dietarty, maintance, housekeeping, receptionist, office staff and also administration. All departments work side by side. The home like setting is truely that. We all no staffing can be a problem in any bussiness but here everyone I had the pleasure of meeting was a regular staff not agency, management was there and did jump right in when needed. Helping with passing meds, any care and taking residents to activities or to dinning room. All I can say is that my needs and concerns were all met. My mood improved there because they worked with me. Therapies spoke to me and we game planned together so I could manage at home. It was great to be here because it was like being at home. All my friends and family that came to visit also were impressed with the greeting they got when they entered the building. That old saying is true, you only have one chance to make a first impression. Everyone wants to stay in there homes, but i think I could make this a permiment place if needed in the future. Thank you for the care I received here. I was able to move in with my daughter and son-law on [date removed].

New staff several in the past months, I'm not really familiar with them. Bad news [name removed] their director of memory care left last week. Big loss to them. We toured several different facilities, and I would highly recommend The Birches at Newtown.

It’s hard as our parents get older and we too are doing the same but still occupied by commitments in life having mom and dad at Keystone Villa has been a blessing. Dad has since passed a the staff there was very caring checking up on them seeing if they need anything and helped guide us through obtaining hospice services. Mom is still active, walking her dog, gardening, going on trips and has made friends there. And at times has no time for us.

My sister has been at Chestnut Knoll for Memory Care for a couple of years. She is in her 60s but has had dementia for 20 years and is in the advanced stage. Dementia patients are all unique and Chestnut Knoll knows this. Nothing surprises them. Every employee is caring and patient, and looks for personality within that can seem lost to many. It was a huge relief to me to place my sister here. I can't visit her as much as I would like. Nonetheless I don't worry about her. I transferred her from another facility and she made the transition unexpectedly smoothly. I know she is content and happier than she has been in years because she is safe and the atmosphere is consistent. I usually visit in the morning and the breakfasts are great, so she actually gained weight which was a huge goal. Memory Care staff are very accommodating to residents' varying and ever changing needs. The staff is a team and they work together well.

I was really impressed with Traditions of Hershey when I recently visited a resident there. The facility itself is well maintained, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and courteous and seem to really care about the residents there. They also seem to offer lots of social activities and as my friend mentioned, delicious food.

Staff is very attentive to the needs of residents even in their independent living apartments. They are also great about keeping the families informed about their loved ones and changes in the facility.

Very good and enjoyable experience. We made the right choice! We appreciate the monthly calendar of events. Many choices. We have found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. Enjoying getting acquainted with the residents and stories.

The Birches was an amazing facility for the decline of a loved one. We suddenly found ourselves unprepared. The team provided comfort and guidance along the way. We were relieved to have our loved one taken care of at this facility. After a few stays at rehab center, the Birches was a new home where we were always welcomed.

I had to place my grandmother in an assisted living facility unexpectedly and quickly. It was actually to be both my grandparents coming but something changed and it was just her. [name removed] and [name removed] were so kind, helpful, compassionate and caring through the process. They have been a great support and help. The staff and residents are like family/friends. The place is clean and lots of activities scheduled daily. I toured many facilities in York and this was the one. I knew it when I stepped in and met [name removed] and [name removed] and the rest of the staff. I am truly happy with my decision and am very grateful for Senior Commons at Powder Mill.

Dad was very surprised & comfortable right away. Everyone called him by name and invited him to join their activities. His meals are wonderful. The staff takes great care of Dad and we can worry less about him. He is getting more exercise in a week than he got at home in a year. This was the best choice for him!

My loved one is currently a resident at Keystone Villa at Fleetwood and the experience has been great so far. It's a great facility, I have no complaints. The staff is very good. My loved one's care is top notch. The facility is expensive, but I am okay with that.

I recently helped move my mother-in-law into Keystone Villa. In the weeks leading up to this, [name removed] was incredibly patient and helpful in our preparation for the move. Her sincerity and compassion are greatly appreciated by the whole family. The facility is modern and clean, with plenty of activities. The residents we met were friendly and welcoming to all of us.

Our family looked at many places to transition our mother to in her elder years. We wanted to find an environment that spoke to us and would be comfortable for mom. From the moment we walked into Keystone Villa I personally knew we had found mom’s new home. [name removed] greeted us, invited us to lunch and then toured us around. [name removed] knew all of the residents names that we passed, helped my mom calm down and won her trust and even helped us come to terms with the inevitable. [name removed] made the difference by going the extra mile which I’ve come to learn is her nature and not a face she just puts on to sell the room. [name removed] gave us, and our mom the VIP treatment and that has made all the difference. It’s not an easy season to walk through but an inevitable season. We thank [name removed] from the bottom of our hearts. If you’re on the fence do yourself a favor and put Keystone Villa at the top of your list. The facilities are clean, the meals are great and the staff is caring and engaging.

I moved to Keystone Villa at Douglassville after my wife passed away. I did not think I would like to live in a community such as this. I love it here. The meals are amazing, you can eat what you want. The selection is outstanding. This place is moving and grooving. The staff are friendly & are part of a family here. The Executive Director runs a tight ship. They have fun and also work really hard here. Thank you the staff. My family is very happy to have me here.

My father (age 94) had a stay at Keystone Villa. I can say is that it exceeded expectations. The staff went over and above to care for all his needs. The cafeteria manager tried to accommodate him with his picky food likings due to his condition. Dad liked the staff there and I did as well. Highly recommend!!

Senior Commons is clean, with friendly staff and scheduled activities. The food is good and my mom seems to enjoy Senior Commons. The staff keep in contact if they have any questions or concerns. I feely mom is taken care of and I don't have to worry while I'm not there visiting.

First of all the staff are very nice and helpful, especially the dining staff. How the community is kept is great and the other residents are very friendly. But the staff is really excellent.
