It's independent living; they don't provide care services. They serve three meals a day, and the food is good. I especially like the view that I have, and the privacy. I have a front balcony, and a nice view of the mountains. They offer alot of activities, but I'm not involved with them.

Beautiful place. The people were very welcoming. Lots of activities. Just not affordable.

The place I have chosen is the Salishan on Barclay ave in Spring Hill , Fla. It is a beautiful place , absolutely beautiful. The people and the staff there could not be any nicer. I truly think I will be very happy living there among all of them...

When we were touring Pioneer Ridge the managers invited my dad to come and spend the week and said he should be able to tell by then if he liked the property (after three days my dad said this is the place for me). He had lived for two months at another property but the group was not as active and he was depressed and wondering if this was all he had to look forward to. Karen with a Place for mom had been assisting us so we called on her again. Karen has been there through both transitions and has listened and help resolve all of our concerns. I have nothing but praise to say about A place for mom and Pioneer Ridge. My dad is happy now and looks forward to all the daily activities. He is 84 but still active, he has even joined the dancing groups. Everyone smiles at Pioneer Ridge and it's not artificial

The Rio Grande has been an excellent choice for our family. The staff is wonderful, responsive and very caring. The facility is beautiful and well kept. The activities available are varied and plentiful. We have been very impressed. The only caveat is that there is no nursing care. There is home health care available on site, but it is an additional charge. Since we did not need a high level of care for our loved one, this worked out great. The other thing I noticed is that the residents are very welcoming which helped ease our loved one's transition. I am very happy to recommend the Rio Grande!

This is a beautiful facility. The cottage would be perfect for us. I liked everything about Parker Place, but the price is too high for our budget.

I think everything is just excellent there. The food is better than most area restaurants. It's just a great environment. Relative to other similar facilities in the area, it's a pretty good value. We are pretty happy with it.

I have nothing negative to say about The Highlands. I'm very, very satisfied and very, very happy here. The staff is carrying, and knowledgeable, and they respond well to any request made. The place is beautiful. My friends that come visit say they are impressed with the food and the beauty of the facility.

Whispering Pines is a wonderful community. I give it top scores all across the board. The staff is friendly, and it's a clean place. We don't have any complaints, nothing we would like to see improved. They are wonderful.

My mom moved in shortly after the community opened. She was hesitant to move into a well established community because she worried about being the new kid on the block. With WP being new, everyone was starting from scratch, but they've been very friendly to newer residents, which has made it easier for them to transition from a house to an apartment. She loves her apartment, she's made many friends and is happier than she's been in years. The building is brand new and the handimen are always willing to help and new features (door bells, hand rails, shower heads, etc.). The staff is excellent. The food is fine - mostly very good with a few misses - and plentiful. There are many options to chose from if you're a picky eater. Everything is freshly made, including bread. Families are welcome anytime and many evenings you'll see at least a few visitors in the dining room. There are a lot of fun activities that are well attended and bus service to appointments, which is convenient. I was apprehensive at first because my mom resisted making the move to a senior community for many years but she's thrilled (and so am I).

Pleasant but locality not as appealing. Willing to work with us on our individual needs.

Near dog groomers, hotel like setting Mom felt safe and wanted second floor. $4,095 for 2 bedroom/2bath and $2,995 for 1 bedroom The commons is $3,400 for 2 bedroom

Beautiful facility. Everyone was friendly, staff knew names of all residents. Very clean and professional. Residents seemed happy to be there.

The place is very clean. Heck, I'd live there. The services are very good.

The staff at Sterling Heights are very helpful and always courteous. The food is very good. There are lots of activities for the residents to do along with bus services and trips outside the facility. Great bang for the buck.

Chesterfield Heights is a great place. It feels more like a hotel than a senior community. Current managers, Glenn and Valerie, just add to the greatness of this place. C.H. offers wonderful services for our seniors -- transportation, house cleaning, activities, meals. When I "grow up", I just might go there myself.

My mother has been at Whispering Pines on Lead Mine Road in Raleigh, North Carolina for three weeks today and we are both extremely pleased. All of the services and amenities are geared toward her independent senior living. She has a beautiful space where she's having an active life at a reasonable cost. Great detail and attention have been devoted to atmosphere, cleanliness, safety, privacy, creature comforts, and necessity. The meals are bountiful, nutritious, beautifully presented, and delicious! My mother delights in the entertainment provided and the cordiality of everyone we've encountered. Cynthia, our sales manager was fabulous! I am so grateful to her & all of of the in-house managers, cleaning staff, dining staff, and especially Miss Linda, the activities director. My mother loves the activities! Care services are not needed at this time and with the healthy lifestyle there, we hope they won't be. What great peace of mind for the both of us! Thanks.

I think they've done a great job overall at The Highlands! It's a nice looking place, and the staff have all been very friendly. They do a great job welcoming people, and really go out of their way to try and get their new residents integrated and involved, which I really appreciated. They also do a good job with the food!

My sister seems happy at the Carriage House. I believe the various activities are good for her well-being. I would recommend it to others seeking a good placement for their loved ones.

Things have gone very well at The Rio Grade! It's a very nice looking community, and the staff have all been wonderful. They did a really excellent job welcoming him into the community and were helpful during all stages of the transition. He wasn't sure if he wanted to make the move, but now he is really enjoying it here!
