My mom has been at Northridge since April. The facility is very nice and homey with nice decor, couches all around for sitting and socializing, comfortable commons with activity room, game room, fireplaces. a library and theater. It is extremely clean and well kept. The activities are varied and plentiful and the activities director is outstanding and personable. This is an independant living facility but they do have priority rehab available on site for physical therapy and of course visiting nurses can come in. Maids come to vacuum and clean once a week and there is a full time handy man for any needed repairs. There is also a shuttle bus if needed. My mom loves all of the special programs they have for various holidays and musical guests that play during some meals. She also likes almost all of the meals which is saying something! She can be picky about levels of spice, quality of meat, how vegetables are cooked etc. So overall a great experience. The only real suggetion is to put a handicap door (power open) on the dining room bathrooms so it is easier for people with walkers to get in and out.

I have lived at Carolina Estates for eight years and it has been a very happy time for me. It has met all of my expectations and even exceeded them! Our management team is exceptionable in their commitment to make our living environment the best possible. We have excellent food and food service, our environment is kept exceptionally clean.

The experience that I had at The Woods at Holy Tree exceeded our expectations. This was new for our family as we had never had to any family members in a community. However from start to finish we received the most welcoming and compassion that we have yet to from any of our tours. I walked in and was instantly greeted and could tell that the staff truly loved what they were doing. They made my loved ones experience one that I will always be grateful for.

When I arrived for my tour with mom we immediately felt so welcomed. We had lunch first which was phenomenal. Several residents came over to say hello and everyone expressed how much they loved living here. We then looked at a few options for mom and she was blown away by the kindness of everyone from the staff to the current residents. Everyone looked so happy which was a good sign that we were exactly where we needed to be. I could not have asked for better service/community for my mom. We are very pleased and will continue to say great things about The Woods at Holly Tree in Wilmington,NC. After countless trips looking at other communities my mother found her "Home" at The Woods at Holly Tree.

Very nice, clean facility. Many options of things to do on the premises. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The residents we came across seemed happy and “at home”. Out of all the places we toured Dad liked this community the best. I would recommend to others who are seeking a warm environment with lots of engagement from the community.

Wow Inside the community is warm and welcoming. My mom enjoys each day with neighbors, play cards or checkers in the atrium, and eat chef-prepared meals with friends in the dining room. They have a big game room and media lounge where social activities like bridge, art classes, yoga are offered. Outside, lush green walking paths and a community garden provide space to soak up the sunshine. The Woods at Holly Tree is all inclusive and offers all levels of care. Look no further, tour this community because this is truly what my mom needed. Thanks to the wonderful staff for making her transition seamless.

If I could give The Woods at Holly Tree a 10 I would. The Woods at Holly Tree was very nice and the staff was also very welcoming. It was just right by the heart of the city and was close to all the things we're looking for, like stores, doctors, and a hospital. I thought the pricing was very good. The grounds and apartments were also very nice and spacious. Out of the several places we looked out my father seem to like this community the best. Thank you for helping me find the right place for him.

Everyone was nice- facility was very clean. Very impressed with everything including the staff. I have toured several places but The Woods at Holly Tree stood out to me because everyone was so welcoming and a place I feel like my mom would truly love. Great job to everyone there and I look forward to my mom calling The Woods at Holly Tree her new home.

I recently moved my elderly mother to Texas from Arizona. [Name removed] and [Name removed] at The Oaks made this a very smooth and easy transition. I was able to set up a tour with them the very same day that I called. The Oaks is very clean, the staff and residents are friendly, and there is a family atmosphere that makes the residents feel at home. Both couples that manage The Oaks live on site and are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you and your loved one have everything you could need in order to live as comfortably and independently as possible. I would definitely recommend The Oaks!

Perfect fit for my mother, even with an out of town move! Basically no adjustment period. She is very happy and comfortable. She loves the residents, the staff, her room and the food. I knew when we went in for the tour this was the place!

My Mother suffered a stoke in Aril and was needing a place to live. I saw Joan Lundens commercial and called. Everyone was so helpful, and when they directed us to Bella Vista, it turned out to be a beautiful place! The management team is definitely called to work with the retirees living there. My mother has improved in leaps and bounds in the last 5 months. All the amenities offered far surpass the other five places we checked out We call her new home “the resort”!! A Place For Mom

Mom says she feels like she's on vacation every day! It's a beautiful facility with delicious food and wonderful staff. We are thankful we found a place close to us that she enjoys.

The staff sets the tone of friendliness and caring. Every person who works at “the Woods,” from the office staff to the dining room to custodial and maintenance - everyone goes the extra mile to meet the residents ‘ individual needs. This feeling of caring and loving becomes part of the atmosphere. In turn, residents are friendly and caring to each other. And there is always something fun going on! It is very reasonably priced for such amazing service and piece of mind. The Woods at Holly Tree truly is a wonderful place.

The staff is caring and very friendly. They go out of their way to take care of the residents. For example, they had a pharmacy give us each our flu shot, they had election judges come to arrange absentee ballots, and they had an ice cream truck come by to give us cones just because it was Wednesday!! They have in-house physical therapy and you can have hospice care here if you need it.

My mom is in her late 90's and moved to The Oaks in Georgetown a few months ago. She was apprehensive about living in any type of facility, associating it with a nursing home environment. She absolutely loves The Oaks! All the staff personally have made her feel welcome, calling her by name, always speaking to her, and quickly learning all her preferences (i.e. coffee, desserts, etc.). The Oaks is always immaculate, bright, safe, and has a homey, cheerful feeling. She loves to go to the beautiful library with the comfortable chairs and double sided fireplace, as well as just downstairs for a weekly hair appointment at the on-site beauty shop, She also enjoys going out to the beautiful patio and garden and stopping to get soft-serve ice cream available 24/7! The meals are delicious! The available home health care staff have become like family to her. They are very good about contacting us about any concerns or issues affecting her. While Mom doesn't personally attend many of the activities, we see lots of fun going on during our visits, as a full schedule of activities exists.

The day we moved our uncle was a whirlwind time. Colonial Gardens was incredible. They knew our urgency was real, they knew our uncle was in need and they made the process beyond easy. It was incredible. Everyday we are blessed beyond words for the entire staff. [Name removed], [Name removed], [Name removed], [Name removed] wife (forgive my memory ) are asssets to Colonial Gardens. They take incredible cqre of the residents, provide a safe, sound clean and secure family environment! The services and ancillary staff are tremendous. Thank you Colonial Gardens!!

Staff is very accommodating and accessible. They treat everyone like family. The place feels clean and homey. I love that staff lives on sight and are there for emergencies24/7. The food is tasty. There are plenty of activities that there should be something that appeals to everyone. My mother-in-law loves her exercise class!

I toured this community with my Mom and I have to say they really took the time to answer my questions and made me feel so good about my decision. I know my mom will be well cared for. I had lunch with a lovely group of ladies that were so happy living here and had such nice things to say about all the staff. Thank you for the piece of mind and all the kindness you showed myself and my mom.

My family lives here and I cannot say enough about how friendly the staff is especially the management. Great care is taken to make sure my family is safe. There are a lot of activities, something for everyone. Wonderful crafts, card making, chair Yoga and a real movie theater with fresh made popcorn Food is great, it has made a vast improvement since my family moved in, plenty of options and looks good and tastes even better! If my family needs help we can get it from service there at the community as well as hire our own.
