looked very nice when I came by. I like the fact that dad can stay there and not have to be moved out from his apartment. they have activities, a bus for my dad, places outside to sit and overall everyone seems happy to be here.

best I have seen in the Wilmington area... clean, nice inside looks new, residents seem very happy... like the size of the apartments and that there are doors going to outside of the building where there is a walkway and pond to look at....

Very impressed upon seeing the community, It is very clean and smells great inside, not traditional nursing home. The location has a little path that my family liked to walk outside, a pond and also it is close to shopping and the drs... really nice community

Absolutely wonderful staff that stands by their word when something needs done. Very happy with the decision and glad that this community is pet friendly and cares about the residents and of course my dog

My mother has lived at Summit Glen for 3 years now. She is 95 years old and does not require assistance, but the staff at Summit Glen has gone out of their way on several occasions to help her or her family with various things. Recently, Summit Glen is truly one of the best examples of how to prevent the virus from entering a senior community. Amazingly, there has not been a single outbreak at Summit Glen. Naturally, every resident, their family members and staff have had to deal with the minor inconveniences necessary to safeguard anyone associated with the facility. However, the staff has kept focused on helping the community residents adapt to these temporary measures better than we expected. I feel relieved that my mom is safe at Summit Glen. We're grateful for the special staff at Summit Glen.

Great community looks brand new from outside to Inside... nice people and lots to do for seniors. It is in a good location with shopping and the YWCA close by. I would definitely give this community a 10

When we were first visiting this community what stood out to us most was the manger of the property, she was very friendly and informative. This community didn't have that nursing home smell, its very clean very nice overall community. The rooms are spacious, they have a variety of rooms to chose from, like a studio, one bedroom and two bedroom. The food at this community is good.

We are happy with this community. There is a manager on site 24 hours a day and being with the residents. The activities included: shopping, field trips, crafts, movies, sing along. They have several activities to choose from. In fact they have an activity each day.

Our parents are at Sanford Estates and everyone there has been wonderful to them. [names removed] are excellent managers and have always taken very good care of our parents. I can call them for any reason whatsoever and they will take care of it. The accommodations are very nice, clean and kept up very well. The grounds are also very well taken care of. They even have a garden for my mother-in-law! There are fun activities provided by [name removed]who is very sweet to the guests. We are thankful for Sanford Estates and all that they have provided for our family. We would highly recommend them to you.

We loved Parke Place. The food was fabulous. They have pull cords in every room. My mom's favorite thing was going to the dining room, a lot of socialization. The room sizes were very good. They have an outdoor space for the residents.

We chose this community because she felt very welcomed and comfortable on our initial visit. The room sizes were pretty average from the other places that we looked at. There was plenty enough for what she needed. The food was a little lacking, she would have preferred to have one meal a day instead of 3. What was on the menu wasn't always what was being served. My favorite part about this community would be the staff and the surroundings, it was very peaceful. She moved out recently due to COVID restrictions at the facility.

Very beautiful community. The apartments are a very nice size for plenty of furniture and storage. The outside is well kept and clean inside. Very nice community for seniors who are looking for a carefree place to be and safe.

We chose this community because it was new and it is more of a rural setting, more nature oriented. I really gravitated when I met with [name removed], I got the confidence that they ran their facility in a more organized fashion. My mom is in a studio and I have stayed in many of the other rooms and this was the best option for my mom. She has a very nice patio in the back. They do offer a lot of variety on the rooms here. The food needs some improvement. They have a standardized menu, the portions sizes are good, but they do not have a lot of variation on the choices for meals. When I was looking at other facilities, for the services provided here it is a great value. My mom is very active and the exercises they offer seems less than what she needs. It would be nice if they had gym fitness training or more challenging exercises for the residents rather than yoga. It would be nice if they take a poll of what people want to see what activities to provide. I would absolutely recommend Ashton Gardens to a friend or family member. The management is outstanding. The staff members are also phenomenal, they all go out of their way for their residents.

Clean, friendly people, lovely location... Great community that is good for senior living. I have lived in the area for several years and always thought the outside of the community looked so beautiful. I was able to look in person and it is just as lovely inside as out. It is very light and not dark, the hallways are a good size which makes me happy so it feels like a home.

Some of the residents at this facility like this food, but my sister is not a big fan. They need to have more of a meal. The food they get for supper isn't really a meal, its pretty small portions. They day we went to go look at this place, they had great food, and now its just okay. They did just have a recent storm which brought up a lot of debris at the front of the door, it made the community look a little messy. But overall the place is very nice. Care services are very limited there, at first we didn't know how my sister was getting her medicine which made us very worried. We just hired new help to make sure my sister was getting her medicine on time, as well as being bathed on a regular basis. The activities they provide, is bingo, they have entertainment come in to play music and sing to the residents. They let the residents plant floors. My sister loves the gospel singing!

This is a great community for seniors to have good socialization. They have a lot of different of things that keep the residents entertained. I enjoy going over for entertainment on occasion. I find this community good for seniors and stimulation as well.

5 star all the way. Great place. So glad I was referred over from my mom's friend. The community is so calm and beautiful. I can tell.it has been kept up very well. Love going there and happy with what I saw
