In the middle of May I brought my Aunt {81) from Florida so that she could be near family. I have to admit the month to month lease was peace of mind since she was moving here site unseen. Well here she is 4 months in and not 1 complaint. The food is good and plenty . Her Apartment is cute and she says the size is perfect. There are different Activities to choose from and plenty of trips out to stores and excursions. I think She loves the scenic rides with [name removed] the best. She enjoys her sweets so the 24 hr soft serve ice cream machine is a big hit. The staff at Ivy Creek are so nice and helpful. [name removed] & [name removed] the managers are fabulous! [name removed] from maintenance is always pleasant and ready to help even when its her fault for pushing the wrong buttons on the AC. [name removed] always takes time to bring a smile to everyone. If you are looking for a 3 meal a day, beautiful home go visit Ivy Creek, we are happy we did. In fact my Aunt will tell you she should have done this move years ago.

Overall it's a very nice, very professional, and very clean facility. In the limited experiences I've had so far with the staff, they have all been great They're very positive, open, and friendly. They want to help anyone who needs help. They always say hello to the residents there, even if they're in the middle of dealing with another situation. My loved one says the food is good, although he can be happy eating pretty much anywhere. Activities are still limited due to Covid, but they're trying to keep everyone safe. And they have beautiful grounds and plenty of outdoor space so you don't feel cooped up inside.

This senior independent living residence is the perfect place for my dad. He loves it there. Staff are kind, caring, and helpful. He gets to meet and enjoy people his own age, appreciates good food, participates in activities.

Visited Desert Springs in Oro valley to inquire about a place for my mom. Met [name removed] who greeted me and showed me around. She was very caring, helpful, and informative. The place is very nice as was the staff. Signed a contract for an apartment for my mom but as time got close it was determined she would need 24/7 care. So I had to change plans and put my mom in a nursing home. [Name removed] was very understanding and only wished for the best outcome. I appreciate her caring. I recommend Desert Springs highly.

Everything is going perfectly fine at Bella Vista, our friend seems to really be enjoying the community and is happy with their choice.

I think they have a lot of opportunities if the resident takes advantage of them. They are certainly interested in the welfare of their residents, and they get to know them. The food is pretty good. In my estimation, they have been great. My loved one has been there several months now, and my only question is how long she'll be able to stay with her health situation, but that will be my decision when the time comes. I have experienced no pressure from Ivy Creek by any means.

Our family had an in person tour, and the experience was really good. The Highlands is a very nice facility, very clean and lovely. However it was more towards independent living and they did not have the nursing services we were looking into for assisted living.

I would recommend the community and already have to others. The staffing is concerned and conscientious about each resident. They have card, Wii Bowling, heated pool, and more for the residents to participate in.

My loved one enjoyed their time here. Due to the pandemic we were able to visit our loved one only in their room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They even were able to encourage my loved one to get involved with the residents and activities. One of the activities available was bean bag toss and more for the residents.

We had a great tour with Shads Landing and really liked this facility. The only issue is it is truly independent living and she needed more care and involvement with staff than they were able to provide.

The grounds are gorgeous, and immaculate. The inside is always clean. There is an opportunity for someone to go in an help change the linens and vacuum my loved ones room once a week. The community is extremely friendly and helpful. The staff know the resident's names and family members. They run a tight machine at Colonial Gardens. There is a safety button that the residents wear in case the residents need additional assistance. They have pull cords in the bathroom and kitchens for the residents to use. They offer a lot of activities for the residents, and they provide a calendar of activities for the residents to review. There is a hair salon on site as well. There is an additional care services on site, such as physical therapy and you pay extra for these services.

One of the biggest features that drew us in when we were looking at communities was how friendly everyone is here, including all of the tenants. My loved ones seem to be enjoying the staff, and the staff are very willing to help. Maintenance has been particularly helpful in getting them set up. And the staff live on-site, which makes a big difference. The food is not as good as we were expecting. But other than that, my loved ones seem to be getting everything they were promised and are paying for.

The activities seem to be pretty good, and we would recommend this community to others.

We chose Parker Place because of the friendliness of all of the people, they followed up and answered all questions that we had, and the place was extremely clean. The meals here are chef prepared and they have a menu that they can choose from, the food is delicious and my parents really enjoy it. The activities include everybody and I think that is important, staff are very encouraging to residents to get them to come participate. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

It is a nice place to live. The residents and staff are very friendly. It would be nice to have an additional option for assisted living to stay here longer. The food is very good and well balanced meals, and we have chefs on site.

Pioneer Valley Lodge is a great place. The staff and residents are friendly. There is good food here. Some of the activities available include: balloon volleyball, trips in a van around town, fishing, and more for the residents to participate in.

Overall, there are very good, very nice people here, and the staff is wonderful. But the food is just awful. I would rate it minus ten if I could. It's a Seven Day Adventist owned operation, so everything is turkey here. Turkey bacon, turkey burgers, turkey this, turkey that. I feel like that's being forced on me. The chef has no business cooking here and doesn't know how to cook. Everything we eat, no matter what it is, is cooked so long that it's dried out. There is no nutrition left in it, and meats and vegetables alike becomes so tough. I called Sysco, and they told me we get a pretty good cut of meat, and that the chefs are supposed to get creative with it. But they don't. I questioned the chef here, and he told me he was not allowed to. It's so bad that I'm going to ask management to reduce my monthly amount to include no food, and I will take care of my own cooking. I'm not alone either. There are many residents here that shop and buy their own food because they can't eat it either. There are also very little activities. Everything is Catholic hour. If I had known all of this, I probably wouldn't have moved in here. Maintenance is great, laundry is great, it's just the food. I'm the ambassador here, and I would instantly tell prospective residents about the food. They keep cutting our budget, and I have never gotten a strawberry here, not ever. I ordered a fruit plate the other day, it was four grapes, two slices of orange, and about four pieces of very hard, chewy, tasteless pineapple. So we are not getting good fruit here. I personally have lost seven pounds since I've moved in here because of the food. There is a tremendous amount of waste in our dining room because people won't eat the food. I do like it here. The other residents are very friendly. I'm trying to increase the activities here within the bounds of what they will allow. And I do my best to advocate for my fellow residents.

My mother recently moved into Sterling Heights. From the moment we met with Managers [names removed], we knew we made the right decision. They knew I was very protective of my Mother. With that, they reached out to me daily and informed me of her behavior. Turns out, she fell right in place and made herself a home. I highly recommend Sterling Heights as the Managers are wonderful and keep our loved ones safe.

My parents have lived here for a year now. This community is many times better than the community they moved away from because of the caring staff and well managed services they provide. Just walking in the door you can feel what a warm and nurturing environment it is. They have made new friends and new memories and are able to enjoy their golden years the way my family and I have always wanted them to. I highly recommend this community.
