This community is so wonderful and the people are so very kind. I looked at a few communities in Wilmington and it is probably one of the best senior living communities in Wilmington. Looks brand new, smells cleans, looks very clean and the residents actually look very happy to be here. I would give this community a 10 in comparison to other communities in Wilmington that didn't seem to compare to the luxury of this particular community. Impressed with my overall first look.

The community was nice and we were impressed. The studios had some balconies available on the units.

I really like it here, the residents are great and the staff members are very friendly. When I first came here I had some physical problems and they have just been wonderful. We have a master chef here so the food is absolutely delicious and superb. The activities rooms and library are very nice, but the community has some part being remodeled so some things are a little messy.

I enjoy living here. This place is wonderful, I met many new people, and new friends. One thing for sure, management has made sure that we are kept safe during the covid pandemic. Not one case here!

This has been a very good experience there especially throughout the pandemic. The management is excellent as well as the stop. We've met a lot of people and enjoyed their company. It’s a good experience living here.

It's the best place to live. Everyone is so friendly. The staff is great, they work with each other so good. I've been here over 6 years. I like living here.

[name removed] and other staff very educated and helpful, many happy independent residents smiling and really enjoying life here. Beautiful grounds, lots of activities!! The only thing I wish they had more of is shade trees it's a lot of concrete out there.

We chose Parker Place because of the location and they were super helpful and friendly up front. Also everyone raved about the food. The meals here were chef prepared and they have choices to choose from for each meal. The apartment sizes seemed nice and like they had plenty of space from what I was able to see. The staff were just so accommodating and kind and I would recommend them.

The food is very good there and we really like that all the managers are on site. So they are there all the time and it makes you feel like you can talk to them and ask questions whenever you want. We would recommend the community to others.

I chose The Oaks because it was recommended to me, it was the first place I looked at and I thought it was going to be the best fit. The apartment sizes here are nice, I am in a studio and it is small but big enough for what I need. We get a menu once a week and we have a chef that prepares all of the meals. They also provide transportation which has been nice. Everybody here is very friendly and I am very happy with my choice. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

While our loved one was there, the Sanford Estates community was great and the staff members were wonderful. The activities were very good and she really enjoyed the meals. It was an absolute god send, and being a nurse and knowing what is out there we were just blown away. We are so glad our loved one had an opportunity to live here.

During the time i was there it was a very nice place, the staff members are very nice as well as all of the residents. It was very clean, I never experiences any issues with the cleanliness. The food was actually wonderful, they served us three great meals a day.

Residents seemed happy and at a range of activity levels. We saw several gardening, others walking around, several with pets. We are still looking and sorting how to get our parents in to see and choose a place where they can live independently. We looked at a variety of apartments which looked very clean and with layouts that would be efficient and safe for independent living with options for help as needed in the future. We had breakfast which was good. THis rating is based on one visit and not knowing any residents living there.

The facility is wonderful with several appealing options for living space (Studio, 1 and 2 BR apartments and larger cottages). The amenities and activities including a fitness center, movie room, garden plots and walking club, just to name a few were impressive. The onsite Assistant Managers [names removed] were very warm and welcoming.

The dining was nice for the first two weeks, then the pandemic started. After the pandemic the residents were served meals in their rooms by leaving a tray outside their doors. If I have to go somewhere this is where I want to go, according to my husband.

The staff is friendly. The managers are there to help out when needed. My loved one had issues with the quality of the food. The activities included: bingo, horse racing, and more for the residents to choose from.
