My mother in law is very happy with the staff and amenities. She loves living there and always speaks so fondly of the staff.

I placed both my mom and dad in Summerville Estates. I very much loved everything about the location. The rooms, benefits available to residents dining experience, ease of laundry care, house keeping and all the staff I encountered. I was not able to leave my parents there however because they needed more constant daily care. They only got to stay about 6 weeks in total. I would recommend to anyone having parents or other loved ones that need to have a more manageable lifestyle and many other needs provided to them.

What we like the most about Osprey Heights is the Security and services. If they can afford it, we would for sure recommend this community to other families.

Cypress is an excellent facility, and the people who run it truly care about the residents. It's clean, well run, and convenient to so much that the area has to offer. Both of my parents now live there, and I would definitely recommend it.

Very nice staff and clean but meals were inconsistent not so good often! Maybe the food is better now!

I would recommend the facility. Many of the staff were extra helpful to my mother. They knew it was tough for her to get to the dining room so they brought her meals to her apartment (not an included benefit of her lease. The facility is very nice and clean.

I want to say it's wonderful living at the Oates. We just couldn't be any better placed. It's it's just wonderful. The people are wonderful. The grounds are wonderful. Our apartment is great. We just feel at home. Thank you so much to all the hard workers. Everybody there is just they you can count on them for help and they are just wonderful people.

Some managers are good, others are not. Most staff are good, but not paid well so they leave. There are too many 'chef's choice' on the menu. They run out of menu items often, menu comes from headquarters in WA not local east coast. Not much fruit served. Rolls not baked well-still doughy.

My mother is no longer here, it was a lovely facility, but she can no longer live independently. Whispering Pines gets all 5 stars from me. Friendly and helpful residents. On-site church services. Fun entertainment. Mom had a studio - it was perfect for what she needed.

It's in a convenient location. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. My dad has even made a few friends. It's also always clean. They have plenty of things for my dad to do, if he decides to. It has been a good place for Dad overall since he doesn't need a lot of help, but it's nice to have someone around when he does. While it is pricey, it's still reasonable for what he gets.

They are very knowledgeable and helpful and will do their best to get a room/ apartment ready for you.... the staff is very friendly and will do whatever it takes to make your days as comfortable as possible. There is a bus for use to go to doctor appts, food Lion and Walmart... there is a very dependable, qualified driver to run you back and forth... meals are prepared three times a day and served in the dining room along with coffee, juices, tea , milk and lemonade at mealtime. There is always a main meal, an alternate, a heart-healthy, a sandwich and chef salads and fruit plates with cottage cheese. Lunches come with your choice of the salad of the day, which is smaller , the side salad has lettuces , cherry tomato and cucumber plus additional toppings and dressings. There's usually a homemade yeast roll every day with lunch and a dessert. At dinner, meals are usually lighter since the noon meal is huge!!! Usually soup and sandwich or salad . The dessert cart comes around at the end of dinner with a variety of ice creams, cakes, puddings, fresh fruit cups and other treats. Lately our meals have not been that great. We can't seem to keep a cook and have to keep re-hiring a night chef. Sometimes the meals run out before everyone is served or the servers don't all come in and then it takes forever to get your meal . Lunch is an hour and a half long , usually. Breakfast does have a variety of cold and hot cereals, fruits, eggs, toasts or English muffins, meats several times a week but breakfast meat is not served every day... there is an Activity room where residents go to play games, WII bowling, art class , bingo and a soft -serve ice cream machine. There is ice cream in it all day, every day, which many people love ... there is always entertainment for us, square-dancers, singers, children from the local churches sing songs and provide entertainment .... other activities are planned during the week that include trips to museums, parks and lakes for picnic lunches, etc., concerts, dairy farms for fresh ice cream and others. It's mostly a lot of fun here and new friends galore! The worst part of it is the weight you can gain from all these wonderful meals. I have found you cannot eat the yeast roll every day and no dessert if you eat the yeast roll.... which brings me to the GYM. There's an exercise class every day at 9:00 and 3:000 plus fully loaded gym with different exercise equipment for your use. There's a fully stocked library plus lots of jig saw puzzles to do. The grounds are beautifully kept with flowers and roses and trees! There is a housekeeping staff to change your sheets and clean your private bathroom every week. They vacuum the carpets and sweep floors. Overall, it's been a great experience living here! I have really enjoyed it and there are two medical offices in the building if you need therapy or special help getting ready for bed . Since this is an independent living facility here, you should be able to do things for yourself. But if you need help, there is Com-for-care to help with bathing and dressing or getting medicines. Legacy helps provide therapy if need be. You can have your own vehicle, too, with free parking . This building is located near shopping malls, stores, restraunts and a variety of other things like museums and other places of interest. It's close to RDU airport.

The people at Mulligan park truly care about the residents and often go the extra mile to help make their lives better.

The facility is so very clean, bright, nicely decorated and has a friendly feel to it that you notice immediately when you enter I have had limited interaction with them, but each one I have had has been great! I would and have already recommended Southern Pines to a couple of friends of mine for their own parents.

My mom has been at Northridge for 4 months now. She was very skeptical at first as she has been on her own for many years. However, the transition has been wonderful and mom loves the community. The meals are exceptional, the staff very friendly and there are more activities than one can imagine. They are great about making it each person’s own place and welcome the many visitors that my mom has. An ambassador is picked for each person to help them get better acclimated in the beginning. This was so helpful for mom’s peace of mind as well as ours.

Southern Pines Gracious Living has been a very good place for my mom, small enough that everyone knows each other and greats you when you come in. Staff is curious and helpful when needed. They don't provide nurse care or therapy but have some companies on site that do. I could not be happier with those providers!

Everybody was friendly and always reachable if we needed to contact something. The environment and surrounding area felt safe. Would love a little easier pathway in and out of first floor rooms with a wheelchair.

Very friendly atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and efficient excellent meals as a whole I am very impressed with the hospitality and quality the staff exhibits however l am moving to a place closer to my family l hope they are as good as this place the place I am moving to is called [removed] and is owned by the same company as magnolia heights

The only things that were ever an issue were mainly the quality of the food and lack of taste according to my mom. Another issue was just with the cleaning. We basically had to the floors and bathroom ourselves they were not getting them clean. My mom didn't use their towels (too heavy) and she slept in a recliner so there were no sheets for them to have to do also

We are just moving in, as our movers were delayed. The staff has been wonderful and accommodating our needs. We are starting to meet some of the other residents and they're very kind and friendly. I'd recommend it very much.
