My mom was very skeptical at first because she was used to living at home or with family. But now she loves it. She has met some wonderful people. She has friends, She’s involved with lots of activities. She is always busy. They have free ice cream cones, free bakery items, and they have wonderful food. We are so happy we found Orchard Heights. .

From the moment I first spoke to [name removed] on the phone with just an inquiry, she has been so generous with her time and energy to support me and my family; it’s evident she and the staff truly care about not just the residents’ wellbeing but their comfort and happiness as well. Now, several months since my father moved in, I’m pleased to say that warmth and quality of care has remained consistent. [name removed] , [name removed], [name removed] and the whole team have truly gone above and beyond in making my father and me feel confident and welcome in his new home. I’m thankful for our experience with Scholl Canyon and would recommend it as an option for other families looking for a comfortable and affordable next step for loved ones.

We chose The Oaks because it looked friendly and inviting right away in the front door. The manager seemed as interested in my wife and I and what we were looking for as the sales person My only problem experiences have been with corporate so a good question might be: Is the facility primarily run by a distant corporation or do on site managers have some discretion in making day to day decisions for their unique facility?

My sister lives there and seems to like it well enough. The facility is kept up in good condition, and the staff is friendly and helpful. She sometimes says the food is so so but then I take it with a grain of salt as she doesn't have to prepare the food. I sometimes don't like what I fix for myself!

Very pleased but of course wish it was less expensive. I love the staff - not one complaint with any of them. Based on the experience I have had with Somerset Lodge, I would recommend this community to other families.

They are wonderful and I'd definitely recommend them! I have already recommended them to my friends that are looking for places for their parents. They have THE best Thanksgiving meals ever! My husband and I will miss their food now that we had to move my parents to assisted living.

My parents lived at SH from [date removed]. Business at SH was still slow when they moved in and prices were lower. SH marketed aggressively to increase occupancy and they have since raised prices. In particular, SH's corporate parent has clamped down and now charges for extra services that used to get overlooked. Our overall experience was good. Rooms are modern and clean, food is plentiful but not suited to special diets like cardiac or low sodium. Because of the services clampdown, residents should be capable of living independently. SH has had a lot of trouble keeping any kind of in-house therapy or aid services, even as a paid service.

My dad is a self proclaimed "foodie". He has been overly satisfied by the meals offered daily. Even the simple grab and go sandwiches are "perfectly seasoned and satisfying." Being in between independent and assisted facilities, this one is the best of both worlds. The van/shuttle driver is accommodating and goes above and beyond should my dad have an off day doctors appointment he needs to get to. The on-site gym allows him to complete exercises his PT team provides him. The staff was overly helpful upon move in - assisted in hanging television, extra towel bars and lowered closet bars to accommodate wheelchair height. Noting the food selection being far above standard is the icing on the cake. It is vibrant there and full of life. Other places a dreary and lack a sense of hope. It was refreshing to find this type of community in a nice part of town without breaking the bank.

My parents and I all agree that we give Scholl Canyon a 5 in every category! The staff and residents are very welcoming and made my mom and dad feel right at home from the first day! We would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

If you are bored it is your fault. There is always something to do. The food is delicious and a good variety. The building is beautiful and the management is awesome. They absolutely love each and every one of us and work so hard to make our lives happy.

There has been a lot of turnover in the administrative staff. Mom says the food is hit or miss depending on the day. She required a lot of assistance when she moved in here, [name removed] and her staff were great! She requires very little assistance now. The residents all seem very happy. Lots of activities to keep them busy, if they want to partake.

What I like the most about Ashwood Meadows is the location and the cleanliness and the food. on the negative, it is more like an assisted living, a lot of people should be in one...Yes, I would recommend Ashwood Meadows to other families 24/7 mgrs are a plus.

It was brand new, it had cathedral ceilings like my mom's home. it was a similarity of what she lived in before just a smaller version. They are on top of everything! All workers are friendly, helpful and nice.

Mulligan Park is an excellent choice for independent living. It has wonderful food and lots of activities. Everything you need is right there under one roof. They even have a swimming pool. You can garden as well because they have raised garden beds for residents. The staff is fantastic always so kind, helpful and courteous.

My Mom is bed bound & under hospice care (since she arrived) so she does not take part in the activities but I see all the activities when I visit her. She does eat the food there - and I have eaten several meals there too. It has been fabulous for my Mom to stay there & have the Better at Home staff bring her food & care for her needs. Hospice is able to visit & has worked with staff of Better at Home for some patients. She is million times happier than the rehab!!! I would highly recommend!!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful The place was updated with new carpets and new paint The food is very good offering multiple choices at lunch. My moms apartment size is great and perfect for what she needs.

Shad’s Landing took the time to FaceTime with me to walk through the facility and answer all my questions. I am from out of town and was trying to help my brother who is local find a place for my Dad. We did a spreadsheet to figure out what was best suited for my Dad and at a fair price. We are happy with the experience so far.

We visited several different places. They have managers that live on site. This was important to us. They also have a first alert neckless that each resident is given, this is important to us. Food was good, staff was polite and responsive to request from the residents.

The experience I received over the phone, spoke with Managers both [names removed] was superb, very courteous, professional and detailed. This has helped our family with sooner decision for our Mother. Giving your Company gratitude for the generosity of such intelligent and helpful individuals. Whom, have directed us as a family. Colonial Harbor is now home for my elderly father and he loves it! The atmosphere is alway cheerful with friendly staff and residents. His desire to be in a community of family and friends has been accomplished and he is thriving in that environment. We, the family, know that we made the right decision when moving him closer to us from his longtime home 300 miles away. What a relief to know that he is in the perfect independent senior living facility. He is in a lovely one bedroom apartment with access to a variety of activities, three delicious meals a day, weekly housekeeping, and an amazing, caring staff!
