I chose Cypress Springs because of the decor, the cleanliness of the facility, and the friendliness of the staff and other residents. I am happy with my choice and think others would also like it here. Definitely recommend.

I would & have recommended Stone Lodge to others. I was attracted to them because of the size; décor; location; staff; amenities; cost; apartment size & décor.

This place is an awesome place to grow old in. Staff is excellent, very caring and thoughtful about the needs of the elderly. I feel right at home here. I am so lucky to have found this place. All my fears about getting older are calmed here. There is so much to do to keep active both physical and mental. The talk about this place is the fantastic food. People should be talking about the extra events.... a tour once every week, shopping days, special events, special guests.....even bands, church services, activities that engage your mind. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is. You should come visit sometime and play cards. bingo, pool, or balloon volleyball with us ! ! Stay for a 7:00 evening movie.

Understanding that Heatherwood is an independent retirement center as opposed to a place that provides any kind of health services, though they provide ample affiliated recommendations when asked. Those services are extra. They have quite a few different apartment sizes/layouts to choose from. All that I have seen look comfortable.

Everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful during my stay.

They are right size and they have a great activities director. They have most wonderful staff and they are very helpful.

The value for the money is awesome (5+). The only area that doesn't rate a 5 is the food. Food quality varies a lot. You may have incredible prime rib, potatoes, homemade rolls one day and and an atrocious meal the next. So the rating depends on the day . It runs between 2+ to 5. Faculty and staff are kind, attentive, and eager to assist.

I was introduced to the Palms at LaQuinta while assisting a neighbor to find a place where she would be comfortable for potentially the rest of her life. It's the best thing that has ever happened to her. She and her little dog [name removed] are having a time of their lives. She has friends to have meals with and talk to on a regular basis and they love her little dog and she just feels so much at home. The staff is extremely competent and friendly and willing to assist forever required. It opened up a new door for me with regards to working with seniors in the sale of real estate when they ask if I know of any place, they can comfortably move to and be comfortable the rest of their lives and that is a place I recommend.

Have enjoyed living here almost 2 months now. My husband enjoyed it for 4 weeks before he went to be with Jesus. I've applied for a widow's pension through the VA, so I hope that will enable me to stay.

Pioneer Valley Lodge has the best chef and office staff ever!!! The food here is great, especially on holidays! They never leave early on a holiday, making sure the residents are well taken care of and food beautifully prepared on the day of the holiday. They give up their holiday so that we as residents can enjoy our holiday! The staff and also the residents are very nice as is our chef. It's like one big happy family here! I recommend this establishment to anyone thinking about retirement! This is the place to be---excitement, entertainment, games, bus trips, all for the price of living here. Each resident is treated the same as anyone else. Our bus driver will take you any place you would like to go, even if there is just one person on the bus. She is wonderful!

We gave the meals and dining a 2 because sometimes they do not have a vegetarian option for my loved one so they just gets fruit. I have had to ensure she has food stocked in the room because of this. My loved one isn't interested in the activities there but is very social with her peers. Hoping the price doesn't rise...The team there is friendly and caring, the residents help each other making it a caring well rounded community.

When i moved in i was the 2nd youngest one there i was 77 and the others ranged from 85 to 103 when [name removed] heard me playing the grand piano he asked me if i would play every sat from 2 to 3 i put a lyrics book together with words to 275 songs the residents would gather after lunch and loved it i had a bad fall at Halloween. [name removed] was there within 30 seconds of me pulling the emergency cord i got hurt very bad 5 stitches in my head i was put to bed for 4 weeks the staff brought all my meals and too extra good care of me we had lots of activities the bus driver was awesome he always helped me with my walker and was wonderful every month i got my eye shot we had craft shows often and every body looked forward to buying my indian stuff. when i got hurt so bad i loved being with the residents and tried to help them whenever i could i never wanted to leave but with all my medical problems and no help from step kids i moved out last august i still go to bible study every fri and i am there every Sunday to play my organ many have passed away but i get lots of hugs and love from the ones still there when i walk out the front door the tears start to fall i loved living there sooo much

Osprey Heights is just amazing all around! The title I captioned says it all. Not only is the facility beautiful and inviting…but the staff is amazing as well. Excellent experience! It feels like “ Home” with a resort like feel with all the amenities. Each resident is truly family. The food at mealtime is delicious, honestly! From the gym to the library to the activites room/ huge main kitchen, movie theatre….bus transport to shopping. I want to live here in place of my Aunt! Its a wonderful place.

Colonial Gardens was absolutely wonderful, everything about it! The staff were very accommodating, caring and willing to assist and help...

Everything is great. Staff are extremely cooperative and responsive to our needs.

1. Overall experience was good. 2. Cleanliness was impeccable 3. Manager staff not so friendly. There was an issue with my sister's husband's incontinence. I warned the staff initially that he was incontinent. We were told no problem but it was and understandably so. I was and am their proxy. When I called the managers to ask why and when my sister had to move the manager ( male) was belligerent and bellicose with me. I simply was asking a question. They were moved to Sunrise of Burlington which was by far a better place for them because they needed higher level of care. 4. The quality of care was excellent if a higher level than personal care is not needed. I am not sure about value or food. I hope that the managerial staff is nicer to family members than they were to me. No hard feelings, I worked in health care for 50 years I understand resident needs. There is however no excuse for rudeness.

I met the managers at Liberty Heights at a Rockwall Chamber event and toured the facility with my mom along with other local retirement communities. Liberty Heights was the most accommodating and closest to my home. My mom moved in on [date removed] and was able to keep her dog and they switched the carpet to wood flooring per her request . She gets three meals a day, internet and no extra bills. The rent is very reasonable and month to month with a 12 month rate guarantee. I am very happy that we chose this place for my mom and she enjoys the group meals and activities.

The have a live-in manager, which makes this place unique. The manager are involved with every resident. I see the residents walking and doing activities together. It is very a very happy place. Nurses and OT are in the building.

I cannot say enough about how great Sterling Heights is. The people there are wonderful, caring and nice. They all go above and beyond to help. The food is delicious, and the dining room is like going to a fancy restaurant. They have so many activities, not to mention a theater, library, game area. It is bright and clean with wide hallways and plenty of places to sit and visit both inside and outside.

Friendly staff, food is high institutional, residents are mostly welcoming, could be cleaner. Activities have been very good. The outings are either Educational or entertaining or both. I am treated as an independent adult.
