This place is a good fit for my grandmother. She is quite elderly but does not have dementia. She gets 3 meals a day and housekeeping once a week. The staff is friendly. The food is ok, nothing spectacular, but better than the frozen dinners she would probably make for herself. Compared to some of the places we looked at, the price is good. Still seems high to me, but some places are just outrageous. I feel like she is safe and doesn't have to worry about a whole household anymore.

Everything has been pretty good. The transportation isn't quite what we had hoped it would be. It's a pretty friendly, and welcoming community. She is very happy with the food, 80% of the time. It's a clean place, and overall when we look at the big picture we are pretty happy with it.

I have lived here for 9 months. Oak park is clean, quiet, and fairly well maintained. The only complaint that I , and many others have is that the food is prepared in an unhealthy way. Many here eat cereal due to the way the food is prepared. Lately we have had poor choices to choose from. This evening the first choice on the menu was tater tot casserole. How healthy is that? Be prepared to pay top dollar for rent, it is expensive to live here..

This facility is for seniors that outdoor walking is not a problem. The walkways are not covered to the club house where the buffet and continental breakfast are served, activities, and pool are. The apartments were lovely. A on campus manger is also a nice service.

Seems pretty clean and the staff seems pretty friendly. There are enough activities for Mom to keep active.

The food is very good but the portions could be better.

They are doing fine. I think in terms of the way they manage the place, it's fine. They have been really sweet. It's well managed and kept up, and the staff is really great. The main thing about the food is that the service is really slow, and lunch can take up to two hours, so that is usually where I hear complaints. The transportation options are a little limited, you get the impression that if you need to arrange a ride you can, but they only seem to go out once a week. Other than that I think it's a very good place.

Very nice place but you pay for it. Does have 3 meals a day but no cook to in the rooms. would consider though.

Overall my experience with Stone Lodge has been a good one. They were a huge help to me during the search process, it was a time crunch for us and the sales manager went above and beyond in making sure we had all the information we needed ASAP. Things have worked out well so far, and they are definitely worth a look if you're looking in the area!

Starting with the maintenance person (Matt) I have had to use his services several times, and he has been great. Always willing to help and with a friendly attitude. He has really gone out of his way to do every little thing he can to help. The managers also are very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping is excellent. I am really just very pleased. Stone Lodge is a wonderful place and I feel like my money is being well spent here. If there were one thing to critique, it would be that the food could be served a little warmer.

I am the only, 56 yr. old person here. Which gave a few elders to challenge my knowledge. I did not get new carpeting in my apartment before I moved in. Just shampooed. My apartment had fleas. Told mangement team. They asked me,"did the vet, Treat my cats"? "I say yes ", "My apartment needed treatment before I pickup my pets". Vents in the air condition unit had mold and dust. Kitchen cabinets was not wiped clean. Overall other services in the Retirement home,are ok. Meals are very good. Housekeeping/kitchen servers very patient and friendly.

It would have been nice if they had some sort of ambassador, someone to help get him oriented and familiar with the place. I think that would have made it a more pleasant experience and smooth transition. Other than that everything has been great. The place is nice and clean, the people there are all very friendly, and they have plenty of good activities (even though dad does not participate in them).

I went to Salmon Creek because I had shoulder surgery and needed a place to stay for a while. They were wonderful. They brought me my meals in my room, and were very concerned for me and helpful as I recovered. When I was there they had a gourmet cook, and I believe he has now left due to budget cuts, and with that their meals have become a lot more plain and with more starches.

We toured this community when we were looking into senior living options for a loved one. Jordan Oaks was a nice looking place! Everyone seemed very friendly, and the facility itself was well kept and clean. They are worth a look, if you are looking in the area!

I chose Olympus Ranch for my aging father to live in. He was moved from Colorado to Utah so he could be nearer to family. Olympus Ranch is an independent living facility. That being said, I would've preferred what other communities called a resident ambassador. There were other facilities I looked at that had a resident who would be an ambassador, to accompany the new resident to meals and introduce him to other residents for the first week or two until he felt comfortable. Olympus Ranch does not have that, and he's done fine anyway. It is a very nice facility. It's clean and the meals look good. It's organized and they bend over backward to deal with doctor appointment transportation. If I had to choose again, I would choose Olympus Ranch.

Cottonwood Estates is wonderful in every area except the food. Pleasing that many elderly persons is a Herculaneum task but need to have more variety aside from the main meal choices. It is always spotlessly clean with friendly and attentive staff and the maintenance man is great. My mom is very happy there which says a lot.

Very nice, food ok, room small, no community fee, 30 day termination when $ runs out, offers to put in microwave, coffee maker, safety rails, hand held shower head, studio $2520, no valet cleaning car off, increase 0-5% per year

Kind of pricy, but I haven't visited any other locations. Darla was so nice and patient with us and all our questions.

The staff were very nice and helpful. I was sorry there were not many residents about.

From what I saw they do a great job overall at Parkrose Chateau. It was a nice looking, clean place, and the staff all seemed very friendly. The only issue I noticed is that they do not appear to be very accommodating when it comes to certain dietary needs, for example they did not to provide many gluten free options.
