We just dropped in to see this one and will make a reservation for a tour next time Mom is up. She was very happy to see cottage-style living on premises, and I know will be eager to see one of those.

This was a very nice facility. They were more for younger active seniors. We were in the later stages as far as care needs and this wasn't what we were looking for but it was very nice and they were friendly.

We visited this "facility" as a starting point in our search for a place for Mom. I used the quotation marks around FACILITY because it is not institutional at all, but more like living in a wonderful hotel. We dropped in unannounced, and the staff showed us around, took their time, and answered all questions. The apartments we viewed were very nice, amenities were great, and pricing very good compared to others we have seen online. This would be the perfect place for Mom--the only real question is whether or not she can continue her independent living, or if we really need assisted care. Even at that, options were provided for acquiring additional services for additional fees. Overall, a wonderful place. I'm not sure any others we see in our search are going to measure up.

It's a brand new facility so it is very clean. Housekeeping could do a better job. The food could be better prepared. There is not a lot of choice in the menu. I don't think the local chef is taking the initiative to make certain changes and do some of the small things that would make it better. It's often cold when they get it, the last four times I've eaten there it's been terrible. The large meal is in the middle of the day. The residents have complained and the response is we can't do anything about it. They end up eating microwave food. Mealtime is scheduled. Very disappointed in the food. I liked the fact that it was new, and that it felt like home. They decorate it beautifully and it feels good when I go in there. Cottonwood was very good to my parents when they first got there. They helped us paint and we were able to match paint colors to the furniture, and really got the place ready for us.

Very lovely facility, but C doesn't feel there is enough support staff after hours. It is independent living. Enjoyed Mike's tour. Not totally ruled out.

We ate one meal and it was very good and they had a drink cart and a salad cart, and an entree and then a desert cart, he likes the breakfast and lunch, but the dinner is lighter usually a soup or something. If you use their sheets and towels they will change them twice a week, which is nice and included in the price. The studio apartment is small, but suits his neeeds. It seems to be a little more affordable than the others around, the marketing/sales person was personable and did a very good job. The other rooms were wonderful too, and there is a little theater with graduated seating and everything even a popcorn machine in the back, and a room you can rent if you have a guest. They weren't real thorough with their contact information in the beginning. More people seemed to be mobile here as well.

The facility is new and well designed. The personnel are helpful. There seems to be little personal care except the seperately purchased "Home Helpers" . If your pareats are truely indipendent, this is a very good facility.

Nice place and Daphne was great to work with but not a good fit for my parents. My parents like the flexible eating schedules and here it was three set times each day. This is a very socializing place and good to keep others going but again not a good fit for my parents.

Paloma Landing is a strictly all independent living place her in Albuquerque. It's basically retirement apartment complex but they get all their meals and they have activities and transportation and things like that. They don't have any emergency care available there. My mother-in-law really likes it. She was in another independent living place but she wanted some place a little less expensive and initially it was. Paloma Landing has a different feel to it which she likes. She's been very happy with Paloma Landing!

i thought it was great. We didn't have a chance to try out the food there. The location was main issue. My mom wanted to be in the same town that I live in so this was a little far away. Everything seemed great there though.

My mom started out at Stone Lodge. They do have some assisted living but it's more independent living. My mom was only there for a short time because she needed more care than they provide. They don't go and get you and bring you out for meals or activities or anything. It's more for people who are pretty well on their own.

My mother is there. It's a good value. Meals and housekeeping are included in the cost and they seem to be good from what I've seen. The activities are good. She participates in some but not as many as I would have expected. I think of the facilities that we saw in the area Oak Park was clearly the best. They had equivalent or better services and a lower price.

I just moved in this week and I really like it. All the staff and residents are very nice and helpful. My room is very clean. Their are so many food choices to choose. Some of the residents are an inspiration for me in their dedication to exercise daily. I sit at a table with a very sweet 100 year old lady that exercises daily. I am one of the younger residents here, but physically I am on some of their level. I hope to become stronger following the residents commitment to maintaining their health. I really do enjoy mealtime and conversing with the people at my table.

Chesterfield Heights is beautiful. The food was better than the Virginian. The price was affordable. We really like this location & was seriously considering the move. Mom was just trying to decide if she wanted to leave her friends at the Virginia. Probably would have moved there in 2014, if mom needs had not required her to have assisted living accommodations.

It was really nice but mom wouldn't have had her own privacy because it was apartment style. They were great people but it was over double what she pays now.

Nancy Britt was great however at my level of independence, I would still want a kitchen. This property provides 3 meals a day at set times included in the rental fee. The average age is between 75-80. Although I like many things about the property, the set dining times won't work for me at this time.

There are a few thing that my grandmother has had to get used to but overall she seems very happy. They've been very accommodating with her diet so she's very happy with the food. They seem to be very attentive when they do the cleaning. The staff is super. Everybody goes out of their way to be friendly. It's very middle of the road as far as cost. It's not super high end but it's not by any means cheap. It's independent living so if she needs help we would have to bring in outside help. They do meals and housekeeping and things but nothing medically. I think what it boiled down to was my grandmother really liked the food and the people here. The woman showing her around was very attentive.

Its very nice its brand new, nothing is perfect. the staff is very friendly. they should be a little more picky with the people they rent the apartments to . other retirement places, they don't accept pets, there are some people with 2 pets theres a lady with 3 dogs and they run around all over the place. We complain about it but they say it's discrimination.

It was nice, but it was more expensive and it just didn't seem to have as much going on or provide as much, it did seemed clean and there was no smell.
