From what we've seen at Parkrose Chateau, the food is getting better, it seems some nights it's better than others. Some people there are grumpy as well.

I have a loved one who lives at the Parkrose Chateau. They seem happy and pleased. The facility is very nice and it's always clean. Every time I visit, The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The value is good. The care services and activities are good as well. They offer a variety of activities. The Parkrose Chateau is a really nice facility. I would recommend it to anyone. It has been a good experience.

My friend lives here, and she likes it so far. I think it was a good move. She is happy with it, and doesn't have any major complaints. It seems to be a very nice place, clean, and with friendly staff.

So far my Mom (90) and step-Dad (93) are doing fine, even though they were reluctant to leave their house in The Villages. Just the right balance of support and independence, friendly staff and residents, good food, nice spacious light apartment. There is only one elevator for the building, which was a challenge on moving day 2 weeks ago, and could be a safety issue. And they have not found the bridge games! Overall, so far we are well pleased.

The Stone Lodge is a nice community. I'm very comfortable with it. The facility is always very clean. The staff is nice. It has been a good experience for me at the Stone Lodge.

I'm amazed on how well my parents are doing here. The adjustment was easy. The staff was very helpful in getting them involved in the community. My parents are also raving about the food. It was a brand new place, with nice art, and flowers, and china everywhere. It's pretty big, and they have onsite dining and an activities coordinator. They had a movie theater with stadium seating. The only negative thing was, they had a chef on duty, but you would sometimes see him busing tables, and they would have a menu printed out, but it was wishy washy, and they didn't always serve what was on the menu. The coffee was horrible too. The service times were very regimented, and they didn't have kitchenettes, and if you were late they would get a little uppity with you.

The property is pretty good. I do think the management has changed though, which is not a good thing. The therapies are great. The food is not good, to say the least. My mother lost 2 pounds. Other than that, the Oak Park Retirement is a pretty good assisted living community. It is a very clean facility. The staff is very nice and friendly. My overall rating of this property is 4 stars. It has been pretty good.

My loved one really seems to be enjoying himself here! He toured quite a few in the area and this was his favorite by far. He has already made a few friends, and he has had good things to say about both the food and the variety of activities they offer!

The facility at Parkrose Chateau is very nice and clean, and the staff there is really nice, and make the residents feel very welcome. It was a bit of an adjustment, but they made it as smooth as it could possibly be and after a month or less there you just feel right at home.

It's going okay here. The food's not bad. They offer three meals a day, but they don't cater to dietary needs, the menu is just general. They have options if you want something different, but it would be nice if they had a side menu that offered some things for those with dietary issues, some low sodium, or gluten free, or non-dairy, some of those kinds of options. Some of the activities aren't very successful, they need more residents for some of the activities to be a success. It can get a little cliquey among the residents, the staff are okay, the administrative, and management staff are pretty good. We liked the view, and the location. It was also a big plus that this is month to month, and we don't have to sign a contract.

The Peaks at Santa Rita is a good community. they have different activities and also food choices when its time to eat. All of the staff and other patients their are very friendly. It feels like a home atmosphere.

I thought Salmon Creek was very nice. I really liked the activity, and the option to have meals when I don't want to cook. It was, however, much more expensive than what I was looking for.

I toured here when I was looking into options. It was a beautiful community, and it was quite large. The dining room was huge and not as intimate as most places.

My mom is sort of a finicky eater. Some food she doesn't like, but it has been better at Steeplechase Gracious Retirement than it was at the previous place she was at. She still doesn't like it sometimes, but I can't tell how much of that is reality versus my moms perception. It is a really nice facility with excellent staff. I would certainly recommend Steeplechase Gracious Retirement to others.

I think they are doing a pretty good job so far. I think we thought it was more assisted living, but you have to pay extra for the extra help. It's a great facility, it's clean and the food is fine. It just would have been nice to know more up front about how the care was charged.

I've been hearing a number of the residents complaining of the food. Saying it's just not good. Everything else is an A plus.

Lori was very helpful & answered all our questions. The facility was very nice & everyone was friendly and helpful. It was not that far from home which is important.

about as fairly priced as you can find around here. not for people with dementia. Staff is nice and friendly, food is ok. convenient meals and shuttle service.

Very nice facility...very clean and no odors. Studio...$1895/mo. Very bright and cheery. Some views are great...some not so great. My tour guide Ellie was pleasant and helpful. Studio costs $350 more than Marion Woods, but offers more for the money. Location is 25 miles from doctors office...Marion is only 13.5. Nice to see some malls and eateries outside complex.
