We do know they offer a lot of activities, they had a good program before COVID. The community itself looks good and the rooms are comparable and better then others we have seen. We would recommend this community to others.

I would highly recommend this community. There have been a couple of times we have visited that there have been some smells. The staff is friendly and is easy to work with. The room sizes are perfect and the food is good but they need some variety. They don't have any dietary meals for my mom who needs gluten-free.

In my opinion this is one of the best of best retirement homes! One thing that really stuck out in my mind was the words on the archery when you enter the beautiful lobby “ be you, be here, belong” that was a positive selling compared to all the other places visited. All employees are seeking to carry the same words in mind and heart. We are very well cared for. The very best quality of food.

We became residents early in the Covid disaster. I am amazed at the loving response to the challenges. The administration is eager to help with any problem and the staff is loving, patient, and very kind. I have food challenges. My husband is diabetic and we control his diabetes with the keto diet. I also keto and cannot have any dairy. We wondered how we could do it here but the staff has been wonderful and prepared food we can eat!

Not as good as it was before the Covid virus, but still a great place to live. Safe and secure.

We chose The Woods at Holly Tree because we felt that it was the most compatible for my mother. The room sizes here are fair to large for what you get. She really liked the food prior to covid when they were eating in the cafeteria, but since covid, it is being delivered so the quality has taken a hit. The best part about the community was the fellowship of other residents. I would recommend this facility.

We chose this Mulligan Park because they have a pool on site at the facility. My mother has a studio and the size is fine for her needs. They are back to eating in shifts in the dining room, they have had a few changes in chefs which has impacted the food quality. It has been inconsistent but it has been out of their control. The best part of the community is knowing that she is in a place where she is not alone and that there is always someone that is able to help if she needs it. She is comfortable knowing that there is other people around as well. It gives us both security.

Have moved from Maple Ridge. Am closer to my doctors. When I toured Maple Ridge in February, [name removed] the Manager Came with the bus to take Me out there. On the way I showed him where BSW Lakeway and where my doctors are located. He said no Problem we can get you to your drs. After I moved in I was told they only go 14 miles and my Drs are 17 miles. 75.00 round trip Uber cost. Not a workable deal The facility was beautiful, people very nice [name removed] the Activity Director, was absolutely great, Met and made some new friends. The food not so much. They desperately need A good Chef. I was not the only one extremely Disappointed in the food, mostly the sad preparation of it. Went back to my apartment and ate from refrigerator, so was buying food and paying for meals. [names removed] , [name removed]'s wife is an asset to the property, she is very nice. The other two couples that were there in training we’re helpful and very caring and helpful. All in all not sure about recommending it, would Get any commitment in writing and be very forgiving With bad food, I would say of the 3 meals a day for a week, about 7 good out of the week. My daughter and I toured this facility and found it to be gorgeous. Lots of amenities and staff couldn't be improved on. But after carefully going over my budget i need to find a less expensive facility. Thank you [name removed] for coming in on your day off!

We chose this facility because it was close to where we were living so we were able to visit often. The room sizes were very spacious. It is a very open and friendly environment for your loved one. The staff are friendly and they provide a bus service a couple times a week to the store. I would recommend The Lodge at Wake Forest.

We chose Jordan Oaks because of the availability and the price. The room sizes are good. My mom has not been a big fan of the food, it is just ok. They made a management change and the food has gotten a little bit better, but still could improve. My favorite part about the community would be the room sizes, they are very generous. I would recommend this community.

This community looks to be kept very clean, but the food at Sanford Estates is very heavy on carbs, they had ice cream all the time for the residents but since COVID they don't have it at the moment. We wish there was more sugar free options since a lot of the residents are diabetics. For the most part the staff is pretty friendly, however was especially liked the person who gave us our tour. He was great, he really tried to make things happen quickly. The rooms at this community are nice as well.

I would say to make sure that they are independent. There are a couple of people that made it a horrible experience for my parents. One of the managers there wasn't good at all. The food was pretty good. We would visit my parents on Sunday and the noon mealtime was really good. The entire family enjoyed the lunch time meals and rolls. The dinner meals weren't as good as the noon time meal. My parents were told they had to leave on [date removed]. Most of the people at this community are great.

I would recommend this community to friends. My loved one seems to enjoy the community. The activities have stopped due to the virus. However, they had a huge calendar of events before COVID. It all depends on how active you want to be.

We chose this community because of the location, the price, as well as the overall facility. It had an updated, positive, less assisted living/ nursing home feel to it. My aunt is in a studio plus and it is great size. We have eaten with her and the food was very good, there have been no complaints. My favorite part about this community is the overall experience we have had. I would recommend The Highlands.

My mother loves living there and she loves the staff and she loves the people and I am so thankful for all of you who love her

It is a really friendly community but be careful with paperwork. The new manager is very helpful. Most of the staff are good but there's a couple with attitude towards my loved one. The food is very small portions and they serve sweets and fatty foods which is stuff that my loved one can't eat. Also, the majority of the time they get the orders wrong, at least during COVID. Prior to that, the meals were great and the staff were friendly. We chose this community because it had everything that my loved one wanted in a place and the price the reasonable.

I wasn't happy with the housekeeping my mother received. I thought the staff was very welcoming and very helpful if anything needed doing. I thought the food was good and my mother always enjoyed the food. They do have a lot of activities available for the residents to participate in. Definitely a good value for the price. I liked the fact that in the building, they were able to take my mother to therapy when she needed it and the doctors are able to make house calls, which is very helpful.

The staff at Scholl Canyon Estates seem to genuinely care for the residents that live there. The staff are very nice people. The facilities there are really beautiful. In my experience, the food is good. The staff have good customer service.

I think it is a nice place, a little expensive. They were are top choice. The food quality went down. It was well prepared but toward the end of her stay the quality of the food was not as good. Room sizes were excellent. They have well organized outdoor space.
