We chose Ivy Creek because of the convenient location of the facility, it is one of the few places that takes younger residents, and also you did not have to buy in, it is just monthly rent. They provide a bus transportation for residents to take them places. He is in a studio apartment and for him it is fine for his needs. They are a pet friendly facility and they do not charge any extra fees. The facility is geared towards independent living, but they have care services you can add on if needed. They have 2 sets of residents managers which is nice so someone is there 24/7. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

Our family was able to have an in person tour and there were still some guidelines we had to follow. A lot of the common rooms were closed off, but we were able to walk through the dining room, which was nice. We also were able to see different apartment styles and various amenities.

We had a nice tour. The person who was to talk with us, no longer works there, and if we had not contacted them, we would have not had any tour. They forgot about us.

It is a nice community and you should check the community out for your loved one. My loved ones don't eat there hardly at all. The food is delivered to my loved ones room when they do it there. The food might be better in the dining room.

Very nice place. Saw the grounds and met some of the residents. They were having a donut social. [Name removed] (I believe was his name) introduced me to some of the residents there. Everyone I talked with said they love living there. It looked really clean. Furniture and décor was a bit dated but still nice. It was decorated in red, white, and blue for Memorial Day. Will schedule another visit for my mom to see when she is in town in a couple of weeks. *Edit* I took my mom for a visit yesterday. She did not like that there was not a full kitchen in the apartments and has decided against Pioneer Ridge.

Our family had a virtual experience and the communication with the staff was great they did a good job explaining everything to us. However, at the time the value was just to high for our family.

We chose Estrella Estates because of the location to where my parents used to live so that way their friends and family could still visit them. Also, the activities provided, cleanliness of the facility, and the meals. One thing I would suggest about the food would be 2 meals a day as opposed to having 3, they have heard this from other residents as well. I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking.

Supposedly it's independent living, but it seems like they have some assisted living there, mostly because they take in some therapy people for respite stays. From the few times I've been there, it's seemed very clean, which I would expect everywhere due to Covid. The staff have been good. My family member has had some dietary restrictions that they've done well, and they've taken good care of her. She's needed some transportation to doctor appointments, which is a little outside their realm, but they've provided that transportation for her. It seems there are plenty of things for her to do there. Activities were restricted for a while due to Covid but are coming back now.

The location as worked out well for our family, and the campus the grounds here are beautiful. The availability and size of the room our loved one is in is working out perfectly, and we think the value for cost is reasonable.

This place felt like the Taj Mahal, a little more ritzy and more expensive. The resident places were larger, and it was more of a luxury experience. But I feel that's more for higher functioning seniors. They had all the niceties and a great staff, but my dad has memory issues. So I’m not sure how that would have worked out for him. For a short respite stay, this would have cost more money. They were certainly not as veteran friendly as the place we chose. I kind of felt like we were led through all the best of the best and wasn't sure if that was the full picture. I also kind of felt like the tour guide was flirting with me too much, and I also did get hit on by one of the patrons, which was slightly disconcerting. . .

It was nice, but our tour was pretty limited. We just spoke to the director and not anybody else. It was beautiful there, kind of a more remote location, but it just didn’t grab us. It was actually not that much different from the place my loved one ended up choosing. But she was able to talk to the residents at the place she chose, which made a big impact on her, and in the end it just came down to a feeling.

I toured Ivy Creek and this was a close second choice for me. I would drive by it while it was being built which was cool. The dining room absolutely blew me away, it reminded me of a Hollywood movie. I would tell others to definitely give this facility a look.

The food is good and the staff is really friendly. Communication is good between the staff and me, they keep me informed and up to date. They have lots of activities but I would like to see more geared to men. I would recommend this community to others.

We chose The Woods because of the value for the money and it met their current needs better. The apartment sizes are adequate for their needs. My parents like the food, but it is calorie intensive, I think they could use some healthier options on the food especially more fruits and vegetables. My parents are able to get to their doctors appointments due to the transportation the facility provides and they do seem to be well looked after and they keep in contact. I would recommend to others looking.

I think overall this is a great place. The community residents can be cliquey and not very welcoming. The staff is very friendly and the community is kept very neat and clean. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We do think our loved one enjoys the meals, and they are ramping the activities back up. The rooms are very nice, there are a lot of windows. Our loved one really enjoys the natural lighting in the rooms, and the community is close in location to our family.

The only complaint he has had is the food a lot to desire and he is not the only one who has said that. The care and how they are responsive to him is good. He does not take advantage of activities but they do provide them. He has made a lot of friends and likes all of the staff members they are very helpful with finding transportation and are responsive if you call. Overall he has been happy here.

My loved one is happy here. This is the most important to me. There are some cliques within the resident population. The food has been up and down since my loved one has been here. It tends to be too fancy. There are times that my loved one doesn't know what is being served on the menu, it would be nice to have simple meals. The staff is wonderful.

The staff is very conscious of the residence's needs. Communication between the staff and me is very good. They keep me well informed and return calls back in a timely mannor. I would recommend this community based on my experence
