We went with Salmon Creek primarily because the gentleman I was placing had some prior experience here knew someone who was already a resident, so he felt comfortable moving in and already knowing someone. The location is very convenient for us as well which has been nice. Overall the experience has been great and I would for sure recommend them.

Camden Springs just wasn't the place for me. It was very noisy, and the street was very noisy. Most of the people there love it. It just wasn't for me.

Like the place although new management team in a month since my parents have been there.... kind of young and food quality has declined.

I would encourage others to come live here. I enjoy the meals, light housekeeping, the location, and the staff all are wonderful. The shuttle bus is for shopping on Mondays and Fridays, and Tuesday and Thursday for doctor appointments, and Wednesday is for community outings. The staff communication for requests can be a little more time as the staffing numbers are low. There are communal washer and dryers on each floors for the residents to use. There are kitchenettes in the apartments. There are three meals a day served for the residents.

They are understaffed and food has been a problem. There are not all the choices that they say that there are. I do not see them doing a whole lot to make up for that in ways that I think that they could. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful, especially the grounds and most of the time the staff is excellent. Overall I would recommend them to others looking, they just need to make some improvements.

The convenient location of Stoneridge is what drew us here. The apartment sizes are great.

Fairview Estates is a lovely place and is generally well run. Of course Covid has affected some things, but that's with every place. If this is the lifestyle you want, then this is a good place to be. The activities could use some improvement. There's a lack of, and what they do have is kind of repetitive. They need more intellectually stimulating things, like bringing in a public speaker, etc. I'm having trouble getting used to 3 meals a day in the dining room. So the value for the cost is a little low for me. The food is good, but I don't want to have to go to a dining room 3 times a day to eat. My apartment came with a "kitchenette" - a fridge, small sink, and a bit of cabinet space. There's no stove and no washer & dryer, which isn't an issue. The community isn't full, so using the laundry room hasn't been difficult. Fairview has a great location and there's a lot to like here. There are areas that could use improvement, but all in all it's a very good place.

We do understand the struggles with staffing and even the supply chain issue but the portion sizes of the meals are a little small - even if you ask or a large they are still smaller and the quality of the fish is poor. However, they do have a lot of different activities going on all the time - from different meetings to garden club, arts and crafts and birthday and holiday celebrations. Also when we come to visit there is about 20-30 residents that gather around the grand piano and sing songs. There is transportation on sight and on Wednesday's they have different outings like to go shopping, Tuesday and Thursdays are appointment days. They also have movies upstairs every night.

I have been surprised by the experience with this community. This community itself is bright and spacious and my loved one is content with her accommodations. I like the weekly house keeping services. My loved one stated that the people are friendly and attentive. The only drawback is that management is on the new side and there has been some turn over. With that comes some changes but for the most part everything has been good. The dining staff are lovely and friendly and I feel like they get ample food. The food is very diverse and it would be nice if they had more of vegetarian, vegan options for all of the residents.

Their approachability is very easy and the staff were great, but there was not always someone available when you need them. They offer a lot of amenities for the residents. Overall I think that they were a very well run facility. My dad loved the food here and really enjoyed the dinners especially. I did not hear any negatives from my parents during their short stay here. It was a positive experience and we would recommend Magnolia Heights to other families looking.

This is a new community locally. It's a large corporation that has places throughout the country but is new in Leesburg. And they're having a number of management issues. Part of it I know is outside of their control due to staffing issues everyone is facing. But I'm saddened that an organization as experienced as the Hawthorn group, sent a newly instated management team to open this facility. Consequently, I think they've had management issues that aren't necessarily to do with staffing - poor planning decisions, etc. They have some very inexperienced staff members for things like activities. But I love it here and wouldn't want to change residences. Everyone is so friendly., which is paramount to me. I love the facility itself. It's brand new and very nice, and clean overall except for the common hallways and elevators could use a little more attention. I just hope they will continue to get better.

Our family had an in person tour and the people who run the place were fantastic. They invited us to have a meal with them and the food was wonderful, however for how expensive it was the community was very worn down. It needed some TLC.

This community was not as fancy as the type of environment that we were looking for for my loved one.

The rooms were smaller and there was no washer and dryer in the unit. These were the downfalls. They had a nice feature that included being able to visit other communities for up to two weeks without having to pay.

You would like it.. It's a pretty good community. I like my apartment and my own space.

This was supposed to be a temporary place for my loved one while she was getting the treatment that she needed. I love everyone who live in this building and everyone has been quite well. Other things have been working out great because they are letting me stay to take care of my mother and be there whenever she needs me. The staff are great like the housekeeping and the assistant managers are all great. The building is a little old and could use some updates but overall it is clean.

Ashton Gardens is understaffed, but seems like a quality place. I think they could improve on their communication with the families/caregivers. they tend to only communicate changes to residents, but sometimes those things aren't always relayed to the family. Because of that, there is some poor communication with people outside of the community.

I think they do an excellent job, but it is a little expensive. They did give me a good deal in the beginning though. I have a studio apartment and it is plenty big enough for what I need, in fact I would not want it any bigger. I am handicapped and I can use my walker easily in the room. Every staff member is super caring, I was sick last week and I had people coming to check on me. The residents are very friendly as well. We even had a beer and pizza party a little while ago, it was fun. All in all, it is worth the money for what they provide, I would definitely recommend The Woods at Holly Tree without a doubt.

This is a great community. I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. Everything is all in one building for the residents to take advantage of, the meals and activities, along with other aspects of the community. They have a pendant for the residents to use for assistance and the staff will be able to assist the residents if needed. This give the family peace of mind that our loved one is here. The community is connected to other communities in different states to allow for vacation with the family. This contract is month to month and this was a huge plus for us.

We chose El Dorado Estates because my mom just felt a connection when she came to tour. She felt comfortable because there were people her own age and there just seemed like there was a lot going on activity wise. The facility is bright and airy. The apartments are a little smaller than she wanted, but it is working out well for her. The staff seem very involved and it definitely has more of a family-type atmosphere. I would recommend them to others looking, my mom is happy here.
