Overall it's a nice place. A few bug (roaches from previous tenant) issues when we moved mom in, but facility management worked hard to get it under control immediately.

This is a good overall place, but needs a few tweaks. The friendliness of the residents varies. Some are nice, some are rude. One, in particular, is very rude. They save spots at lunch tables which is hard for new people. They offer transportation and it's been ok, needs improvement. I rated the food at a 3, but considered a 2. The activities are nice, but too much sitting.

The staff have all been helpful and have gone above and beyond. They have ensured that my dad is safe and had what he needs. They do clean some of the areas and supply some linens which is very helpful. They have a bunch of activities that dad has tried. I wouldn't say the most, but they have enough to keep people busy if they want to be. It's a nice quiet place that I would recommend.

The interaction with the staff was pretty good. The food is plain, and my loved one does not really like it. They can improve on the food. We picked this community, because it is attractive/nice, location and it met our needs the best.

It is independent living, not assisted living, but the staff have been wonderful to support a variety of needs for residents. They're always very friendly, responsive to questions and helpful in resolving any issues. We only wish they also offered assisted living support.

When we were there moving our loved in the staff members were very accommodating, they made sure things were done in a timely manner. It really was a lovely process and the staff did great .

They could do a better job with initial set up of the rooms for things like internet and cable (since internet and cable has to go through them) We picked this community because, it was recommend from a list of places provided to us.

The Woods at Holly Tree has been going through management changes and interior upgrades since my parents arrived there. My hope is things get more stable and the food improves.

This place is very nice. It's a newer facility, spotless and beautiful on the inside. It really is a clean facility and looks very nice. Most of the residents and staff have been very nice and friendly. One thing they could do better is have a contact person to go to for questions. When mom first moved in, she had a couple of questions and also her phone was broken. We didn't know who to ask for help or how to go about getting her phone fixed. We asked and didn't really get a direct answer the first couple of times. As for her phone, I had to call the front desk and ask several people for help reaching her. I got the run around, even when I asked to just leave a message for mom to call me back. I couldn't get answers and couldn't reach her and it was frustrating. But we finally got it worked out and her phone fixed. The management isn't always helpful and seems to change often or be on some sort of rotation, which we didn't realize. They do offer a good variety of activities/outings and always seem to have something going on. Mom really enjoys that. The food is good and the wait staff is very nice. They do housekeeping once a week and things seem to be good there. I thought they provided paper items (paper towels/toilet paper), but they do not. However, I do think that they're one of the best facilities in the area. And the cost is reasonable. It's definitely a place you would be proud to say that your loved one lives in. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Julian Estates just like many other communities are experiencing some staffing shortages so sometimes they get busy and aren't able to answer your request in a super fast timely manner, however the staff that are there are just wonderful and extremely friendly to speak with.

My loved one is really enjoying it - it has been a big help for her. She was feeling stuck where she was at prior to Steeplechase, and the social aspect has really helped her. She has made friends and is doing really well there. The apartment is a studio, but its very nice and suits her needs.

The staff at Somerset Lodge are nice and friendly. They're willing to work with you and get you what you need. It's an older building that needs some work, like all buildings do, but it's lovely overall.

Its's a great place. My loved one seems happy. He's enjoying the people there and has made friends. It seems like a nice community. He likes that the food is like a home cooked meal, and they definitely put a lot of attention and effort into providing the best food they can.

The apartment is good. It's spacious, convenient, and nice. The food is not as good, and they've had a lot of turnover. Also the dining situation seems very non-inclusive. They have tables of four, and I think they should have some larger tables so new people or people who don't have anybody to dine with can join a table rather than sit alone. There are also not many activities going on on the weekend.

The cleanliness is good. My loved one does not really like the food. I enjoy the atmosphere and seeing the residents mingling. I picked this community because, it's a very cost effective place, and reasonable. The food could be better. I was attracted to the price, and enjoyed meeting the marketing person. I would recommend to other families.

New facility with nice layout, plenty of activities, 3 meals a day, food seems good, affordable with living/room options to choose from.

[name removed] is fantastic - shows the apartments. PT on site is fantastic. Happy with the Salon. Golden Heart personal care is great. They are trying to get free internet. Cell reception however is terrible - dead zone. A big Pro - no longer term contract, very low entry fee.

Our loved was only there for a few weeks before passing so they were not able to experience all of the amenities and extra things they had to offer which is why they get a 4 star overall, but the staff members were great and vey friendly.

If you're an outgoing person, they are very receptive and friendly. But you can also get lost in loneliness if you don't want to leave your apartment. In independent living, nobody really checks in on you per se. There would be more opportunity for socialization the dining hall if the food was even decent. Most of the residents have said that they used to have a really good chef, but after Covid, that's all fallen apart. The apartments are great though - they're clean, well designed, and convenient for an elderly person to navigate. It has everything you need other than a telephone and your furniture.

The food is sometimes better some days than others, beef meals are sometimes lesser quality cuts and more fatty.
