I am a resident at Olympus Ranch. I am satisfied with being here, the people are nice, the place is clean and doesn't smell bad. The food is good. I have no advice on any thing that needs to be improved, everything has been very good. I would recommend Olympus Ranch to others.

They are understaffed at Azalea Estates Gracious Retirement Living and it takes too long to sit for a meal. But the food is good. Like anything, there are some good meals and some not so great, but I like the variety. Most of the staff are really good, but there are a couple not so good. They really make an effort to help. We had no issues moving in. On the whole, I would highly recommend this facility to others.

Respectful, inviting, clean, well managed, enjoyable community. I moved in the beginning of March this year. I have a lovely studio apartment at Parkrose Chateau Gracious Retirement Living Community.

My loved one is currently a resident at Mulligan Park and overall it has been a good experience. The staff are very friendly and responsive to requests. Communication with the family is good. However, parking for visitors is very limited. The meals need some improvement, also. Overall, I have recommended the facility to others.

I understand it's an independent facility ... but they should really be more alert and check in more on their residents. They should also have a transportation vehicle for residents in wheel chairs ... I know there are residents that can not go up stairs ... my dad being one of them .. and I am u came to take advantage of the transportation that is provided due to this ... my dad pays a lot of money and can not utilize that ... also.. my dad is not comfortable going down to the dining area yet ...he has been in his room for weeks... they do not provide delivery of food unless the resident is sick .. that also is not ok .. for the amount of money that is being put out a month ...

The community we chose just felt like the right place. We toured a bunch of facilities, but Somerset felt the most homey and welcoming.

Massive turnover of staff is very concerning. The food is generally good but never hot and rarely even warm. I’ve been told the kitchen is not adequate for the amount of meals they are preparing. Seems like they should invest a little money and bump out where the trash patio is. Plenty of room for an additional stove and warming areas. Wish there were some younger residents. Instead of a 55+ community it could be called a 75+ community! Many of these facilities have a bar on premises, I know liability insurance is expensive but I think you could draw a more diverse community.

I think that I would recommend Bella Vista to others. My mom's biggest complaints are about the food and how long they have to sit for the meals, but she does like all of the activities that they have for the residents.

The facility is clean. They have an ambassador program for new residents. However, my ambassador has yet to show up. Their Handbook is sparse and does not give a new person needed information. Only about half of the residents are interactive with new residents. The weekly menus could use more variety. Too many meals with turkey. All evening meals are soup, salads and sandwiches. They frequently run out of announced menu items and residents are either short changed and served a menu item short (for example, do not get an represented vegetable) or get a poor substitute ( today I got tater tots instead of potato salad). Management is quick to tell you that you are doing something wrong or contrary to "the rules" without telling what the rules are or how to resolve the issue. I would, at this point recommend The Palms to a friend but I will suggest to management some improvements/changes as I become more comfortable here and see what happens.

The facility and staff are wonderful. Apartments are beautiful. Her studio is just the right size very airy and open. The staff couldn't be more perfect. As fart as the food goes, I would like to send different people to eat there for a week that are unbiased. I understand that the meals have to suit everyone's diet, and the soups, salads and bread are wonderful. Breakfasts are generally good. The desserts are fine. Most of the meats and vegetables are pretty bad. I don't say anything to my mother about the food because she loves it there. But I have noticed that she pushes some of her food around and has started eating in her room more often. I hesitated to say anything but I have heard several people there complain about the food.

The meals are very good. The move in process was great! It is an independent living facility, so independence is expected.

The staff is very pleasant and always very helpful. Housekeeping has never been an issue. There is virtually no communication with the family, most likely because this is really an independent living facility. Move in process was very easy. My loved one is not loving the food, but she is incredibly picky. One disappointment was the one year rent increase. We were told it would be little to no increase after year one and we were hit with a 6% increase, which when on a fixed income was a bit hit. Overall, it's been a good experience for my loved one, just very pricey.

The amenities are great. Management goes out of its way to take care of everyone.

I would, and do, say that I feel respected and cared for and still have the freeedom to come and go at will. Better resident participation in maanagement-resident meetings and outings might help avoid disinformatior confusion.

Staff is friendly and helpful and go the extra mile to accommodate my mother (for example helping her log-on to her personal computer). My mother is very happy there, only complaint is that some meals are good and some very average.

It's a beautiful facility with wonderful staff. We picked community because of the same comment above.

I would tell others they should definitely consider it an option but would also look at others.I would say it is good value given others we looked at. Staff is mostly nice but constantly changing.

Staff are wonderful! The only reason the facility did not get all fives is there was some miscommunication when we arrived and we were sorta left on our own to navigate the place. Because my mom has a lot of family support, we were able to do so. But had my mom had less family support, she probably would not be doing so well and could have been a bad experience. I think our situation was a little unique as my mom did not move in right away (thus confusion as to when she was actually there) and they were not expecting

The managers are very helpful. The housekeeping was pretty good. Maintenance was a problem, but they did get rid of the maintenance person. I don't know if they replaced him yet. Communication with the family is okay. The move in process was smooth. The meals are not great. Very salty and taste like they are frozen meals. The chef is not receptive to changes. They have had meetings with the residents to get input and he gets defensive. I know it's hard to get employees, but a better chef and more staff to serve the meals would be nice. Overall, I would recommend the facility to others.

Ivy Creek is a nice place to live. I am very happy with my room and the food. I have made many new friends who look forward to seeing me every day.
