My mom has been very happy with almost everything at Colonial Harbor. She enjoys all the outings, the activities, and the fact that she can easily get to grocery stores, doctor’s appointments, and anywhere else she needs to go. The cleaning service has been great, and she really likes having the on-site beauty salon and physical therapy available. Maintenance has also been responsive whenever something comes up. The only area that needs improvement is the food. It’s very carb-heavy and not well balanced, and she has gained weight because of it. A more nutritious, balanced menu designed with elderly residents in mind would make a big difference. Overall, she’s pleased with the community, has made numerous friends and enjoyed retirement — the food is the one thing that falls short

A beautiful facility, but my wife and I would prefer to maintain a little more independence than provided at Ivy Creek.

It's been great for my mom so far. They have activities that she has enjoyed, everyone has been super friendly and welcoming. Location is good. I would recommend to others.

I'm not the one living there but from what I've been told the bus doesn't run when it's supposed to or they don't have a driver often. I like that light housekeeping & meals are included. They do events/activities for the holidays. My dad doesn't seem to be the biggest fan of the food but I'm not sure if that's just because it's not his preferences. He's involved in the choir and enjoys it.

Size is good and location is great.

Nice size bedroom Apt. Very clean but somewhat dated. Lovely staff who are very helpful. Wonderful staff and food as well as activities!

It was a very positive experience. I lived the location and layout of the apartment. It had a patio also which I would enjoy..

The space was very bright, well organized and open. The people were friendly helping and welcoming. The staff was helpful. Although my mom says the food is ok.

We loved the staff and the facility. We're past the halfway super nice and helpful. The facility was clean and welcoming. As far as the food goes, they need better selections or more choices. Tough for picky eaters.

I’d give the staff a 5—they’re all thoughtful, professional, and have made my experience great so far.

Very nice place. Very bright cheerful. The amenities were very nice. The price was slightly less than some of the other places we toured. All 3 meals were included, in the monthly rental fee. Therefore the apartment had kitchenettes instead of actual kitchens. It will be a contender for us, if we can sell our home.

There has been a lot of transition so activities will probably improve. They are also looking for an Executive Chef so hopefully the food will improve! The value is great.

I told my family that if I need to move to an independent or assisted living I could move to The Palms.

They were very nice but way outside my budget. I thought the staff were very nice and the residents I spoke with were also great.

The apartments are well taken care of, The food is good they have entertainment and crafts, movies. They have a bus that takes them shopping and Dr visits. Great staff and my mom is very happy there.

The staff is very kind and caring. My Mom feels very special with all their good care.

The place was beautiful but the price was too high for our budget. Place was very clean and updated. People who lived there came up to us and said how they loved living there.

What we like most about the community is that they are very friendly, staff really cares about residents. Yes, we would recommend Stone Lodge to other families.

At first I was very impressed but with the turnover in staff they seem a bit disorganized. I would recommend the facility to people who can be independent, and it is a nice facility, I feel they sell it one way but then it is changed a bit, but overall it is a good value in this area
