It is light and bright. They enjoy all the food choices. They have plenty of activities. Salon on site has been nice. My dad enjoys the ice cream machine. The down side is only one elevator for the whole complex. They handyman is very busy and it takes a while to get things fixed. Lunch can take an hour to get served. I would recommend it. The cost was a big factor. I like the assisted part of it is as needed instead of paying for it monthly whether you need it or not

The staff was incredibly pleasant. I did not care for the floor plans, not enough counter space in 1 BR’s. Apartments had individual AC units but I think central AC would make it easier to control comfort.

The people, the staff, the residents, and engaged promoters were all very nice and helpful. Although we are not ready to make a move from our local home of 25 years, we were provided with a good idea that we might need more levels of care than provided by Sanford Estates when it will be time for us to move. Otherwise, the accommodations were attractive except for the cost.

I like Jordan Oaks. The people are friendly. I love my apartment. I would recommend Jordan Oaks to others.

It's not too expensive. The food is good. The Quality of care is fair there are no medical facilities

Wonderful staff, friendly residents, excellent food, good activities, and at $[removed]. For a two-month trial period, it was a perfect deal. The negative was trying to get my deposit back. I discovered that three administrators were let go and I hope it wasn't due to my experience.

Just beginning our search. Pleased that there was not an buy in and the focus is on aging in place. Tons of common spaces and activities as well as three meals per day.

Nice, competent staff. Good food. Better At Home caregivers has an office on site which gives us an affordable option for extra care for Mom. Slow, less than great maintenance is really the only drawback. Overall we are very happy with Shads Landing.

It's great for 80+ years old. Or on the more slow side. Not geared towards active 70-80. Should have a primary care doctor set up before moving in if possible. The mobile doctor isn't the best.

They often have a new resident signing deal so look for those. The have transport to and from appointments on Tuesday and Thursday. They have outings for fun and for groceries. The administrators were friendly and they do go the extra step when helping. It's recently been renovated. The staff are friendly.

The center was great, but I was not ready to be there and missed my home. I am glad that I was able to return home. The staff was very, very friendly. I was not a fan of the food, but overall I would rate the experience positively.

Until very recently it would be 5 all across the board. Two or three months ago new management came in and I'm not very impressed with them. Most of the staff is incredibly friendly, all of the residents are definitely friendly and look out for each other. The place is always nice and clean, and they all seem to like the food!

Make sure you understand that this is independent living, not assisted living. The studio apartment I had was nice, but the services did not fit my needs. Turns out I needed assisted living.

We visited and was impressed. We didn’t get pricing or any floor plans. We saw 2 units and neither one would meet our needs. Lovely facility, wish I could have seen other units.

they are good-- the sales person who is not longer there was a little pushy but overall a great experience my mom really likes it.

It was good that I visited the facility to see how it’s different from others and cost etc. My visit was pleasant. The lunch was good. The administration was very friendly and had the information I needed. Over all it was a good experience. ….. Dr [name removed]

I enjoyed the visit. I am considering joining the coomunity….. looking at convenience of travels as I don’t drive any more, closeness in distance to my children etc. will be in touch with management. The tour management did a splendid job… courteous and respectful.

I appreciated the time that was taken to show me various room setups and explanation of costs. They were setting up for an ice cream social and it looked very pleasing.

The level of care is minimal, as this is an independent living facility, so residents are largely on their own. The food is average—not particularly impressive. On the positive side, there are enjoyable activities, including outings, bingo three times a week, and card games, which help keep things engaging. However, overall value for the cost is disappointing. It is quite expensive, and the quality of the food and services does not seem to justify the price.
