This is a very nice facility beautiful and well built. I have been to 6 other similar places and the food here is the best of all of them.the average age here is about 90, a little more than I would like. The activity director is great especially for the woman. There is a chapel for church and bible study. Also they have a nice movie theater and a nice pool table. It’s in a nice area of Johns creek with lots of restaurants and stores.

My mom has lived there for a couple of years now and her only real complaint is about the food. She has told me multiple times that the food is often late and/or cold. It is a nice facility with nice rooms/apartments but mom has told me the food is often 30-40 minutes late. My sister who lives in the area said they try to rotate the tables so the same table isn't always last to be served but it really sounds like they need to hire more people to help serve the food. Our seniors deserve nutritious, tasty, hot foods as their mealtimes are often the only thing they really look forward to.

I picked them because of the location. I would recommend to others.

First was location, only 10 minutes from my house. Once I got there, the new manager[name removed] was one of the most sincere people I've ever met. I was beyond impressed that he and his wife, Penny, live there full-time. No other facility has managers on site 24/7. I recently had to call them at two in the morning because there was flooding in my parents apartment and the on call managers were there in moments before I got there about 20 minutes later. They were so kind and compassionate about the whole situation. The facility is very clean. Not the most modern but very well maintained. Most of all, the residents are very happy and lively and welcoming. Even after a month I feel this way. I visited other facilities that were newer and more modern but the resident seemed kind of sad. There was no nonrefundable Community fee to move in. They also gave us half off the first three months of rent which was unexpected but appreciated.

Capital Ridge occupies the high, but not ultra-wealthy, end of their commercial niche. It's generally a well-run operation, marred by frequent staff turnover. Meal quality is good enough most of the time, occasionally breaking out into excellent. Despicable frozen pizza is occasionally served. Accommodations for individual preferences are cheerfully made. It bugs me that when Covid sweeps through Capital Ridge, as it has done often, no safety precautions to protect residents are implemented. Open communal dining continues. It even continued when the director himself became ill with Covid. Capital Ridge does not seem to acknowledge any responsibility for Covid safety precautions, even when staff and residents are clearly passing the virus. Provision for smokers are sparse. Smokers may indulge only outdoors at designated spots which are fully exposed to the elements. Since arriving a little over a year ago, Capital Ridge jumped up my rent substantially. Staff has been helpful and friendly during my time at Capital Ridge. Apartments are small but comfortable, suitable for elderly residents seeking an easier-to-manage lifestyle. Pets are permitted for additional fees. My neighbors have dogs. None have disturbed my peace. The sound insulation in apartments is well above average. There are three floors of apartments, about 150 units in total, but only one tiny elevator. Upper floor apartments should not be recommended for residents who cannot use stairwells. Overall I grade Capital Ridge as a comfortable and suitable place of residence for elderly people who can afford it, who do not require more intensive care, such as that provided by assisted living facilities or nursing homes. I do not regret moving to Capital Ridge in the slightest - though I endure exposure to the elements in all seasons to indulge my cigar habit. Some protection from rain and sun would be welcome, though.

Staff is helpful. Food is usually good . Has convenient bus service locally. Activities are fun as are the outings. Residents very in ages and are friendly. Facility is pet friendly. It has various entertainment . Has weekly happy hour.

This is a very nice looking facility that has a reasonable price. It is definitely not a bad place to live!

So far we are happy with the choice.. no complaints. We picked this community because of the location and price.

Ashwood Meadows was fine. She really liked it. Thought the food was great and enjoyed the activities. My concern with ashwood was turnover in management and other personnel (such as activity director).

It's a very good experience. We picked this community because of the, proximity, nice facility, activities, good price in beginning. Did not appreciate the annual 8% rent increases.

The community is friendly. They encourage residents to know and lookout for each other. The environment is safe. They plan community events to bring the residents together.

Have already recommended to others. The weak point is the meal service, lack of help and menu not that great. We picked this community because of the price and modern clean look of facility inside and outside.

The staff turnover has been high so it is a mixed experience. When it comes to the meals, they are repetitive and low quality. The value for cost rating would be higher if the food options were better, but overall we would recommend this community to other families.

What we like the most about Osprey Heights is that it is a beautiful facility that has a cinema room and good value for the price. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far

I don't really know much about the community, but everyone seems nice there and my father has made some friends.

The initially the entrance fee, the cost was fantastic, but every year the cost has gone up [fee removed] to live there which has caused a lot of residents to move out or in my mothers situation, assist with the rent or find other alternatives to help my mother raise the excess costs.

There is frequent turn over of staff. That being said, the staff is very kind and caring. Staff turnover continues to be a problem, but the staff who are here are excellent!!!!

Facility is nice, grounds are nicely landscaped, residents are friendly, staff is friendly and helpful in solving problems.

Overall, Maple Ridge is good, but there has been a high rate of turnover even in management and this could be a concern. But every time we have an issue it is addressed.
