When my mother got there the food was fantastic. Throughout the course of time it has dwindled down to nasty as per their own residence. I find there to be a couple areas where they're a little bit deficient which is usually sometimes in the cleaning department. But overall it's a very nice place for her to stay, the people are very sweet and they also pull together to help Mom out when she needs it. The dollar amount for the accommodations is good. And the staff does a pretty good job of listening to the people that pay the bills. We have a pretty good relationship with the office staff there. Some of them are outstanding! The food does needs to improve though. It's garbage! However, there are worse things poorly prepared good, but not at that location

The staff and management are great. The facility is very nice and ultra clean. The thing that kills the place is the food. Breakfast is usually pretty good but sometimes they dont have eggs. Eggs should always be an option. There have been several breakfasts that are a sweet pastry. Dinner is usually the best mill of the day. Even dinner can be bad. They seem to really like soup and salad. My dad eats soup when he's sick and rarely eats salad. Supper is usually soup and/or salad. I have had to purchase tv dinners for supper in case. Food should be of top priority in a place like this. I was surprised that they didn't take into account food allergies. One night we were sitting with a woman that couldn't eat hardly anything being served because of her allergies. Love the activities coordinator. She really tries to get the folks to participate. Friendly, staff and management and a super clean facility are what attracted us to Cypress Springs. If the food quality and options reach that level, it will be a perfect 10!!

I thought very highly of Steeplechase. After 2 weeks my mother wasn't happy, but that's par for the course!

A clean well-maintained, well managed independent living environment. Managers are always on-site and appear to rotate shifts every several days. They are actively involved with the residence, especially at meal times and are available when needed. Securing an apartment for a resident requires a "community fee" -- essentially a nonrefundable deposit equal to the cost for one month of rent. Apartments vary in size from studio to multiple bedroom. Three meals a day are served, and there are accommodations made self-serve snacks throughout the day day. Quality of food is a subjective variable; so I'm not in a position to render an assessment. It appears adequate.

The staff is fantastic, what there is of it. There seems to be a shortage. The management team is wonderful and everyone there is always doing a great job, but there are not enough people to do the work needed. The food is top notch, mom has not eaten this well in years and her health has improved immensely since she moved in.Her frustrations are with the cars parked at the front of the building that never move. She drives and has a hard time finding parking. There is a flooded sidewalk outside her apartment that needs attention. It prevents her from walking in and out of her apartment door.

They are wonderful there, very kind and caring. Definitely would recommend Colonial Gardens to people looking for assisted living arrangements.

The friendliness of the staff is terrific. Everyone we have encountered has been wonderful. The facility, while older, is very nice and well kept. The negatives are that the management has been like a revolving door over the last year. The ones that were there originally were incredible. The subsequent ones have been nice - but none have measured up to the first set. And same for the activities director. Currently there isn't one. Some of the residents and community members are filling in.

The single elevator is inadequate for the number of guests. Long wait times occur. Outdoor food events need to be better organized. Buffet lines move slowly. Buffets are not suitable for people with mobility challenges who need support devices. The food is not what one would expect from the descriptions.

Staff is very nice and very helpful.

Management is very friendly and did their best to make the transition smooth. The apartments are a good size with quite a bit of storage. Not a huge fan of the AC set up. I wish there were more off property activities particularly in the afternoon as mornings are hard for some residents. It would be nice if the meals had more choices without cheese in or on. Also more pasta options would be appreciated

I would rate Olympus Ranch 4. Mainly the food needs improving. The U Steps in the gym are wonderful. Yes I would recommend this community.

The food is mediocre but was something that was highlighted when we made our choice. Apartment size and activities are great.

Staff is great. Food is great. Activities could be better. I think the planned games are for younger people. Good movies. Some residents seem to not be "independent living" candidates. Mainly due to the activities comments - some residents do not share my opinions on that issue. I think it could be much better.

Overall, I have been very happy with the heatherwood and what they have to offer. It definitely gives me piece of mind knowing my dad feels comfortable and is enjoying his time there. Yes I would recommend this community to others and others who have visited are impressed

I particularly appreciate: the friendliness of the staff, the abundance of activities and trips for the residents, the food is fantastic.

The cleanliness interior is a 5, the exterior is a 3. The visiting medical staff and on-site Rehab are exceptional The 4 rating is because they frequently have issues with the bus/driver and do not offer many out of facility options. My Mom has been in and out of the hospital the few months and the staff has been so sweet and supportive.

Overall it's a great facility. There have been issues but they are working on it. Big staff change. Which is definitely for the better.

We moved my parents into Providence Meadows this year. overall, It’s been a great experience. The facility is clean and well kept. We looked at many properties and hands down Providence Meadows came in first! We would have loved a new resident orientation or a “Move In Buddy”. There is one (easily fixed) issue - and that is the food. The quality, quantity and variety is poor. We are worried about my parent’s nutrition. We supplement their food with meal replacement shakes and taking them out.. not everyone has that option. One should be able to live on their food. It would be good to have a forum for resident feedback. Or a survey?? There are many wraps and sandwiches. My parents can’t eat bread. They choke on it. In summary PM is a clean and well maintained facility with really nice staff. The residents are good people. They are welcoming and warm.

We enjoy visiting Pioneer to keep up to speed on the latest news. Most likely we would have been a resident 2 to 3 years ago except for one main drawback. There is no covered parking! Cache Valley is beautiful and living here is great, but having a foot of snow on your car in the winter and hot sun in the summer is not for retirement. We have asked numerous times if there are plans to install very simple 'covered parking' slots for those willing to pay the extra monthly amount. Unfortunately the answer has always been NO PLANs! Unfortunatly, this has caused us to look elsewhere outside of the Logan area!

What we like the most about the community is The room, staff, clean. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families.
