Intake was great everything else was lacking. They could improve on everything. My father fell on a daily basis which led to several hospital stays.

What we think they could improve on would be the nursing staff, there is incompetent. They could also check to make sure residents who need help are fed

Staff management. They call out a lot and when there they don't work hardly. They are always short staffed and residents do not get the assistance they pay so much money for. . I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice new building, apartments good size, with modern appliances. Has fewer activities because of fewer people. So it seemed cold and empty. Also a bit further away from town than we would like. This opinion was from video walk through, not in person visit.

They missed cleanings, laundry, meals - yes, meals. Often taking two hours or more to eat, and they charged for Services ("level of care") that they didn't provide. They claim the level of care (which was jacked up shortly after we arrived, even though they assessed my parents a month earlier) was based on a points system, but not necessarily associated with more care/help. We left, and have gone to another facility.

My mother-law did not get her meds every day. And that the right time. She also had some behaviors that were not handled appropriate for someone with dementia. We had to move her and now she is thriving at the [community removed]. Harmony is not great if someone has memory loss or dementia.

Insufficient staff my room was at the end of a long hallway and never enough people to push my wheelchair. Long wait for food service and food was often cold.

There were many things that happened with my friend who moved there that I felt staff were not attentive to. Initially there was a problem with her mailbox key being lost. No one could agree on how it needed to be handled I know she went 2 months without access to her mailbox. That's a big deal. Eventually, the front desk starting getting her mail from the postman and taking it to her room. So much miscommunication, different answers from staff. The business staff, are completely out of the picture, once they get you in. I totally feel that a connection should be continued with the residents. I did not feel that this happened. Also problems from the beginning with drug orders. In particular, a laxative was prescribed daily, staff aware this was not correct, for my friend, still insist that she take it. Took too much time to get the order corrected. For a patient without family to try and advocate, this would be a disaster. Eventually, diarrhea several time a a day. One particular nurse, very aggressively said to my friend, if you are asking about the laxative, I don't want to hear it. My friend then called Hospice who came and sat with her in the middle of the night. One other incident involved a UTI being diagnosed on a Thursday or Friday and no meds available until Monday. On the positive side, the weekly trips were very helpful and good. Also, my friend enjoyed the food and now after four months, my friend has moved back to her home. There were many caring and loving workers and residents in this community.

You don’t receive the services promised. Housekeeping time is minimal and sporadic. The food is of poor quality and often not prepared well The building leaks. There are ongoing air conditioning problems. On a positive note, most of the staff are friendly and helpful

I want this to be confidential. We are leaving Harmony in a few days. It has been a disappointing stay. There are some good employees here; however management is very poor. Apparently they do not have positions in management filled. My husband has been in memory care. I, a family member, or a paid caregiver have stayed with him 24/7, except for one night. The emergency call system here is very antiquated & I have had to go get help after one hour and 15 minutes & several times after 45 minutes. They are using walkie talkies that have door security messages, etc. that have to be difficult for aides to monitor. Also, there is an apparent shortage of walkie talkies. They are nearly always understaffed and this unit is not clean. There has been fences stain on the carpet in the hallway for a week. Also there have been instances when my husband's medication was not administered properly. The food leaves a lot to be desired also. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

It was a poor experience due to lack of communication within the staff. No one ever fully understood my dad's condition and physical short comings that resulted from the stroke.

Food was horrible, dining room was always dirty, staff was mostly lazy and sullen except the receptionists, who were always pleasant and friendly. [name removed], the maintenance man, was the star of the operation and the best PR promoter in the company, and cared the most. Can't blame the bad ones too much as it is terrible, nasty work.

This clause is firmly enforced, even in cases involving serious health decline or urgent medical needs. Families should be aware that the reason for leaving does not affect this policy, and staff will refer to the signed contract without exception. While Harmony presents a warm and welcoming environment during tours and initial interactions, our experience revealed a disconnect between that image and the actual practices in place. In our case, the emphasis appeared to be more on financial obligations than on compassionate care or flexibility in difficult situations. We encourage anyone considering Harmony to review all contractual terms carefully and ask direct questions about policies related to medical emergencies.

Mainly, you need people to work there who are And who are kind and who don't pick fights with residents just because their personalities dipper older people have a lot of eccentricities and there was just a lot of changeover constantly in the administration or no one in the administration very rarely was there anyone you could find that could help you med passes were sometimes done in the middle of the night waking residence up those are a few things

a lot of change over since i've been there. communication poor if i wouldn't be watching 24/7 things would of not happened for my mom weekend crew lazy. I email corporate and head person in charge never get emails back

I am a current, cognitively alert resident, who has lived here for over three years - largely due to personal inertia and the fact that I require only minimal assistance. The relatively new facility and its grounds are well maintained. The general atmosphere among residents might best be described as one of friendly apathy. While the direct-care staff is generally kind and well-meaning, they are mostly inexperienced and inadequately trained—reflecting a remarkably high turnover rate - even more pronounced among management and supervisory staff, resulting in a lack of continuity, institutional memory, and leadership stability. Fundamental principles of management and leadership appear to be absent. Procedures that should be routine are inconsistently followed or overlooked entirely. Residents often treated as a disengaged, homogeneous group. While input is occasionally solicited, it is rarely acted upon in any meaningful way. Dining quality mediocre and meals frequently lukewarm.

The apartment for my brother in law was promised to be ready in June. He moved in on date set to be ready. It was not. It wasn’t cleaned, carpet was not replaced, patches on walls were not painted, filter in frig was putting out black water, bathroom not cleaned. I could go on and on. Still need painting, and no smoke detector, oven still dirty. On top of that can’t get mail delivered. This is 2 months later.

Cleanliness of the facility was good Friendliness of the staff was good There were no activities in memory care for those patients. The woman that they hired to do activities, they turned her into a healthcare aid. My dad was pleased with the meals most of the time no problems there I got an emergency call on a Sunday morning. Had to take my dad to the ER. He had four fractured ribs and a hemothorax condition. He spent a week in the hospital. They did not report the fall and they don't know what happened to him It is what I was told. I am not the only family member that's unhappy with what's going on there. I would not recommend Harmony for any memory care patients. A lot of promises were made that we never kept. I know complaints were filed with the facility about things going on in memory care. One of the other family members told me she was visiting her father and an aid told her that she was the only one there with the 16 or so patients that they had. Staffing always seem to be short.

There was a lot of staff turn over when they were there which resulted in not having the best of care. It was a beautiful facility and a few great staff worked well with my parents. I'm thankful for those who helped us out a lot during a difficult time.

I am very disappointed in facility. It is new but the rest of it sucks. One of elevators had not worked in 5 months. The residents complain constantly about how bad the food is as well as the service. I think they could have much better activities for the residents.
