There were some glitches, there was a n issue on washing the residents clothes. I ended up doing the laundry for my mom. The people there were very loving and worked hard. The atmosphere was wonderful and the room was nice. The food was from the small kitchen and a lot of times it was not hot, or not enough for the residents in the dementia unit. The staff on the dementia floor worked hard, and had to work when they were sick. The loved the residents and did the best they could. I tried to decorate for the seasons and even played bingo with the residents. There wasn't a good activities director or activities for the resident. The head nurse got upset about the decorations and all kinds of stuff, sugar free items for diabetics. So I had to stop doing this. My mom was in the community for 10 months before moving to another community. At that point, she was getting worse, and had even gone to the hospital, and moved her to a nursing home.

The room size and cleanliness stood out the most. Had bunch of activity stations. Biggest concern was after we signed up, we were given fees we never went over, and kept raising the price. But the food was fantastic!

Harmony at Falls run was an assisted living and Memory Care Facility. Very nice, and a newer facility than Arbor Terrace. The memory care area was nice but I didn't get that warm comfortable feeling and I don't think it would have been a good match for my mother.

1st senior living facility visited. Memory care on the second level. As you enter the room there is a hall with closet on one side and bathroom on the other. One positive aspect is that they have a visiting doctor come M, Tue, Wed & Fri.

The place is nice, but I wasn’t impressed by the staff or how confused everyone was about my arrival when someone had just confirmed 10 minutes prior. They also treat you like a car lot so I wasn’t a fan of that either.

not impressed with the fact that they charge for everything above the basic room rental and care.

Be aware they run out of hot water at least once a week and maintenance cannot fix.

My parents have been there from August 2017 to the present.. There has been a fair amount of staff turnover during that period. The facility is newer, well maintained and has nice amenities.. No buy in which is nice. Food quality and service is generally poor. For the fees that should be much better. Good activities director!

Too expensive for their present needs. They didn't want any meals.

Everything is great while your loved one is able to move around and pretty much do most things on their own. Our experience was mostly good at that point, although some things we were told before they opened were not the same once my loved one moved in. But when they have issues that make them need more care that experience deteriorates. And the price goes up.

My loved one likes the food. We picked this community, because I was happy with what I saw from the tour experience. My advice to other families, looking into places, is to check and make sure they are staffed real good, because they are often understaffed.

Overall service could be improved

I went on a tour here and it was OK. The lighting was really bad and it made it feel the coldness. The furnishing is sparing and just not a homey feeling. I just saw all the residents lined up to get their medicine. I didn't like that. I recommend families tour as many places as they can before they make a choice.

The initial tour and marketing brochure were impressive, and I liked the small size of the facility. However, upon having my mother move in, I have discovered most residents spent most of their time privately in their own rooms/apts. Activities are on the calendar, but are repetitive in nature. The meals in the dining room are adequate at best, i.e., a cheese omelet for dinner was not freshly prepared, but was obviously frozen. So was the hard biscuit that was served with it. My mom only enjoyed the apples that evening. Chef prepared? Not! Now that I have placed my loved one here and paid the sizeable up front fees that are nonrefundable, it's not feasible to re-locate her at this time. She isn't happy, so neither am I!

Management is horrible, the community it self is great for loved ones. Turn over all the time and always short staffed.

Facility is great. Room and food are great. But little care. Found my mom on the floor after several hours and they hadn't even checked on her. Billing is a nightmare. No one in the business office has a clue. I would never recommend this place and we have since moved her out.

Mom’s been at Harmony of Southridge for a year. Recently her oven wasn't working. After having it checked twice they decided to get her a new one. Few days ago they delivered/installed a filthy used stove which took me 2 hrs to clean. I have complained/asked 3 different x to speak with someone.They messaged the maintenance supervisor to s/w me but he never came to the apt. Also, I would say that the carpet in her apt is the original & cheap because when I run her sweeper the only thing coming up is a canister full of carpet fibers. Also disappointed that they didn't keep the sidewalks cleaned during the snow/ice storm this yr which was very dangerous for my mom to walk on when she would take her dog out the use the BR (yard is always disgusting of dog poop even though everyone is supposed to clean up after their dogs). These are just a few recent problems. I feel that they don't mind taking your rent $ (raises every yr) but they don’t want to spend $ to fix/maintain the apts/facility.

Their care is terrible and I would not recommend someone sending their family members there. My loved ones room has roaches everywhere. We had several trips to the hospital after supposedly falling several times and escaped the so called locked unit.

The staff who work the nurses station on my floor. Are quick to tell you what they don't do. I fell and I waited 30 for someone to come and I pushed the button on my pendent. I am not thrilled with this place. You don't really know til you live there. You might leave your name on other lists just in case where you chose does not work out.

My father-in-law went there in the spring of 24 and we had to move him out by the end of the year. When we first got there the place was pretty good but soon thereafter there was a change in administration and the new people got rid of all the good workers. When we first got there half the people work their butts off and were super nice and the other half were lazy and rude. When the new Administration came along they got rid of all the nice people who worked hard and kept the lazy and the rude people. By the end of 24, at least in the Assisted Living section. The care was abysmal and the people there could not care less about anybody or anything. Assuming the administration is the same today as it was a year ago I would not recommend this place for anyone, at least Assisted Living. People in independent living seemed a little happier. At the Assisted Living in there was a complete lack of any care and if you didn't take care of your own nothing would happen. They were so bad at the end, the state should have shut them down. It was all aspects of care not just an isolated section.
