I toured Harmony on The Peninsula and I thought it was okay, the tour was good. I chose another community because they had an all inclusive rate, so there was no guessing about how much the care would cost.

We had some growing pains the first few months after moving in - but things seem to be settling down. The facility is new and one of the buildings opened during covid. We have had issues with billing and getting accurate information. Also just like any place else right now, they are having issues with staffing.

Extremely expensive and we could not even expect parking spots. The windows in our unit were a couple feet from where people would walk their dogs and sometimes a couple would just stand there staring in and even wave! The food staff would run out of certain foods frequently . Sometimes we had to wait a long time to pick up our order.

I toured with Harmony at Greenboro and did not like it because of the gal that was showing me around for the tour. She did not seem interested and also would not show us the memory care side of the facility.

Harmony at Columbia was just not the right fit for us. We were looking for a newer more updated facility and the building here looked older.

The staff was wonderful. The community wasn't readily available as it was still being built.

The place is beautiful, clean, well decorated with friendly staff. The residents seem to be friendly as well. The care services were not done or provided for my loved one. If your loved one needs care this is not the place for them. If your loved one is more independent then this might be the place for them.

The community was more expensive than we wanted. They had a locked memory care unit and it didn't have a home feel to it.

When placing my loved one here, we were "sold" on the low staff turnover commented on by the sales rep - that person left and sadly many more aides and coordinators have come and gone, leaving this facility VERY short staffed where it matters most - care of residents! Because of this my loved one is not receiving the quality of care promised or needed.

What stuck out to us about Harmony at Chantilly was the amount of activities they offer, the price for what you get, and the atmosphere is modern and the facility is well kept. The apartment sizes are perfect for her needs. The residents here are all pretty young at heart and in their minds so it has been easy for her to integrate into the community and socialize with others. I would definitely recommend.

The executive director is a wonderful person. She really cares about the residents and she is professional. There are some exceptional staff and some we do not care for who are mediocre. I would like to see more activities provided for the residents. The dining hall food is very good, but when you get over to the memory care portion of the facility, they could definitely improve on the variety and quality of the meals provided there.

The community is nice and clean and they offer a lot of great facilities there. Our loved one enjoys the food there are no complaints there. She is getting the medication she needs and they are responsive here. We do know they are understaffed and we understand that but at times their communication to the families is slower then what we would like.

I would recommend they pay more attention to their residents to ensure their safety. It seems that there were only 5 residents during the time my loved one was there. The community was beautiful. My loved one did fall a few times during their stay. Some of the staff were great at making sure my loved one was safe, and clean. There were other staff that didn't seem to care as much about the residents. The food was always late for the residents in memory care. The community has a lot of potential as they are working out their growing pains.

The care is awful. The care staff is very inattentive. They don't follow through on requests, and they are very disrespectful to the residents. I would not recommend it.

I would recommend you not take your loved one here. The staff are rude, not qualified to care for the residents and are rough. They even put my loved one's health in jeopardy on occasions. After making them aware of a situation of care needs of my loved one they continued to not respect the care wishes of the family and my loved one's doctor.

The facility is beautiful, well maintained and up to date. It is also not to big and not to small, and its centrally located. We thought the onboarding process and even the exit process was very accommodating. They are understaffed so at times the care services and basic needs weren't responded to in a timely manner

This community was okay not too bad but there was just another community that we liked more. We felt a little rushed with making a decision.

Our family had an in person tour and we did not choose them because the residents there seemed to be non verbal and our loved one is still very social even with her memory loss.

The place is very nice and the people are nice, and what struck us in the beginning is on our tour everyone was so friendly and interactive with one another. The residents would come us to us and introduce themselves and really made us feel welcomed. The dining area is very open, bright and airy. With our loved ones health we are still working the care services kinks and getting their medication down on a regular basis, but so far everything is good.
