A Place for Mom provided a referral to Harmony, which was followed by an initial tour for my wife and I to view the facilities and learn about the dining, amenities, available care, and activities. After visiting five other places, we brought my Mom in to tour our top 2 locations. She was impressed by the cleanliness, activities, and dining options at Harmony. The complementary lunch went a long way! She has been in her new place about a week now, and she has told us more than once what a great decision it was to move to Harmony at Brookberry Farm!

All are 5's except the food. We have a shortage of cooks and wait staff currently. Service is slow and and sometimes orders get delayed. Food is average and limited in variety. I would rate food and service as a 2.

I've been at Harmony at Elkhart for 9 month's and I must say that the Leadership of the Business management is Superior, [name removed] is just Awesome, she gives the future residence a tour of this Wonderful facility, [name removed] is the Business Manager and [name removed] is also in the Management department, my overall review of this outstanding assisted living Facility is top notch, the Staff are always there to assist all of those who need care and assistance, the food is amazing, the Chef's and Server's are always pleasant and really caring, the CNA'S are very well versed in their duties of giving medication to those who need help and assistance, they deliver food to those who are unable to come down to the Dining area which always has fresh flowers on all tables, my overall rating of this Wonderful assisted living facility is that it can't be imitated by other facilities because of the expertise of the Management and staff.

They need a dinner chef. However, the people are friendly and we would recommend Harmony at Kent to other families based on the experience so far

My overall experience is a 5. The cleanliness of the facility Is a 5. Both inside and outside. Friendliness is a 5. I have made friends with people in Assisted Living and Independent Living. I can speak to quality of care in memory care and for the most part it is 4.5-5. Each patient has different needs and the head nurse and med techs do a great job on keeping the patients safe and healthy. Food is ok but they are served plenty and also snacks. They have choices as well. Activities are a 5 especially for Independent and Assisted Living. Memory care activities are different but they are included in many activities in the main dining area with all residents. Value for cost, not sure what to give this one but am pleased with what I am being charged. Not the most expensive place.

It is such a cheerful atmosphere and the staff is so nice and welcoming from the front desk to the kitchen staff! As a performer, i have had nothing but the best experience with Activities at Harmony. I always look forward to performing at Harmony!

The community was welcoming, food menus offered variety that contributed to a positive dining experience, staff were responsive and very helpful to accommodate resident needs

My only real complaint is their management staff turned over a lot . Every time i would build a good relationship with someone they would leave. That made it harder to stay involved. The other thing i would say is I don't think there is a perfect place. No one is going to care about your loved one the way you do. You have to accept that.

Harmony at Elkhart is a quiet, clean community with kind and caring staff. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

This is my first time needing a facility of this nature for a loved one and the experience has been excellent. Though I was surprised that I would need to furnish the room - make it like home - for her, once I settled down, it was easy. We went to my sister's home and brought as many items as we could to make her feel comfortable in a room that is just the right size for her. The facility is located about 10 minutes from my home and the proximity has certainly made it easy for us to visit, drop off things and take her to doctor's appointments with ease. I believe Harmony has provided the best care possible for my sister. They have been responsive to my concerns as well as her needs. I feel she is safe and well taken care of.

The staff is exceptional. They make the residents and guests feel welcome and supported. I would recommend Harmony at Kent to others.

I will say Harmony is a good choice for us. I actually looked at Harmony before choosing [community removed] but my husband was more stable and not in a wheelchair. By July he was a perfect candidate for Harmony Memory Care. Most are wheelchair or using walkers. Very few able to walk alone. The memory care is on the first floor so only a code to get in and out. They are not moved to another area during the day like at [community removed]. Capacity 24 but only 17 at present. They served plenty and also snacks. They have choice as well.

What stood out most are the clean facilities, friendly administration and support staff along with strong activity scheduling make this a great choice for my 89 year old Aunt.

The facility is very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and positive. The residents and staff all seem content and are friendly with each other. It is a nice atmosphere.
