Harbor Chase is a beautiful complex. Hubby is in memory care here. It's close to home and I would spend a couple hours a day with him until Covid. But, he's being treated so well by his Care Partners – no place is perfect. But very pleased.

Seem to care about their residence and it's very clean. Mom seems content. I do feel they should regularly communicate with family members. Mom doesn't use a phone and they don't give us regular updates on her care. We always have to call and ask someone for a status. I feel with covid, at least one family member should be able to go in to see residents, their apartment, etc. once a month at least.

Excellent tour with [name removed] of the memory care unit. She provided us with necessary and important information about the way this process works and what can be done to ease the transition.The facility was lovely with big, bright areas for the residents to enjoy. The rooms are a nice size with plenty of room for belongings. Would highly recommend a tour of HarborChase if you are looking for a place for a loved one.

[names removed] are excellent. They are very kind and very helpful. They make sure everything is handled and done well. In terms of the day-to-day care it is hard for me to assess as I have limited access to my mom.

Overall, my family is very happy with the facility and care they receive from staff. Since the COVID changes though, it seems management and the foodservice have been very inconsistent.

We were there for 13 months. I feel that they did a good job of caring for my loved one. The distance was difficult for the family to go visit of our loved one. The experience overall was good. There were daily activities for residents. Due to my loved one being a fall risk, the community kept her in the dining room to participate in activities and keep watch over her.

We chose this community becasue of the location, the cleanliness, and the promises made. The room sizes are not bad, shes got her bed, TV, chair and a couple of tables. My mother actaually eats and she likes the food, no complaints. They have been very cautious with COVID. The memory care is expensive. When they were able to get out, they would be able to get them out and take them on trips, play music, do exercise classes and other activities.

The Hearth at Gardenside is a very comfortable community. People there are attentive. The community is actually more elegant than we expected. Room sizes are good, food is excellent. My only concern is that they do not fully understand this virus.

Beautiful facility, every amenity you could need, excellent location. If you can afford it this is the place to go!

Immediately felt like The Hearth was a home. There was a staff’s dog in reception, fireplace ablaze, oldies music playing, nooks and crannies to read and rest. Going back to have full tour because [name removed] and I connected so well we chatted away an hour. I give 4 stars but expect to raise it to 5 after the full tour. ;)

Mom is in memory care. New facility with California modern architecture. Of the places I visited in the area; in the middle between low-end linoleum type place and high-end resort. Food and menu also in the middle range. Staff, with the exception of some of the nurses, appear to like their job. Some go above-and-beyond. Deciding factor for me was location provides nature views from windows and some rooms have screened porches/balconies for pets. Only negative is that some of their activities don't appear to attract residents, not much engagement. They need to evolve their activities to suit their residents (more wine and bus trips, less arts and crafts).

The Hearth at Tuxis Pond is an excellent Assisted Living Facility in a wonderful location in the heart of Madison, Connecticut. I am a Geriatric Care Manager and would not hesitate to recommend this facility to my clients. [name removed]

Very new and nice facility. This would be a lovely option for someone looking for an assisted living facility. The staff shared a great deal of information about their facility and concerns someone may have about selecting any facility in general. Very knowledgeable. Thank you.

new facility. Great activity room, movie room with individual loungechairs, bar/party room, private dining room. Regular dining room with restaurant look and feel. Great activity room, exercise room. Staff all very helpful and pleasant. Rooms a bit generic but nice. Could use a larger frig/freezer in the rooms.

Beautiful place, excellent food, caring staff. My only issue is residents have to buy their own TOILET PAPER. It apparently is not included. If you run out, too bad for you. Ridiculous.

We had a nice tour of this facility. Everything went well. The staff we met was kind, and helpful. They answered our questions, and the experience was a pleasant one. The community looked good from what we saw. Everyone was friendly to my family, and I. The experience was a nice one, but we did find another community that met our needs better.

I have to admit placing my dad here was a very good choice. He is very happy here he is making friends and socializing and doing some of the activities. He loves the food taste very good. The staff is outstanding very kind and respectful and friendly.They keep the place looking and smelling very good always clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this community.

This is a beautiful community, and my tour of it went very well. I would had been very comfortable if my mother was to move this community. It was a good convenient location, and there is a hospital behind the facility. I was impressed with the staff interaction towards the residents. It was a good experience, but their prices were to expensive for our budget.
