Overall, we've been very happy at this facility. The cleanliness is top notch across the board, in all areas. The staff is great. They go the extra mile and assist with things that aren't necessarily in your care plan, like getting dressed. They do offer transportation, but only during the weekdays. There is no weekend transportation, we weren't aware of that ahead of time. But during the week, they will take you anywhere you want to go. Even to visit a friend. The room sizes are excellent, but if you want a unit with a balcony you may have to wait a bit/be put on a wait list. The food is a hit or miss at times, but they make a great attempt. They serve the best soups and best pizza around. The Sunday Buffet is outstanding. They do charge to deliver meals to your room, so that's something to be aware of. Also, there is a monthly meal allowance/charge. We don't have a night nurse and the only option during those times is the hospital. I wish they would change that. They offer a good variety of activities such as crafts, puzzles, bingo. Entertainment is fair, not great but not poor. They're working to improve it. They have a Happy Hour at 4pm every weekday, but not on the weekends. Again, we're very happy here overall. This facility is well run. Our two disappointments here are not having a night nurse and also not being an official member of "The Village." That requires membership, which we didn't know about until after we moved in. I would suggest that they be more informative during the admissions process and have a brochure/written material to give to new residents. We weren't given anything and kind of learned as we went. For example, information on membership of "The Village," dining times (the dining room closes 30 min prior to the listed closing time), the charge for meal delivery to your room, and transportation only being on the weekdays. I would absolutely recommend this facility to family and friends.

What stood out to me at this facility was the staff was very warm and welcoming. I could 'see' my mom fitting in well here. I don't have a single negative thing to say about HarborChase. Very happy with my decision. The staff is amazing. The facility is beautifully decorated. They have great entertainment.

Cadence at Olney was a very nice place. This was my second choice and it was a hard decision for me to make. It is an absolutely beautiful facility and they had really nice apartments too.

[Name removed] was incredibly helpful and informative, my father is very happy there. [She] did a great job helping us out during this time and made it a very smooth transition. She was able to accommodate my father with a nice room and was quick to call my sister and I back about any issues.

My Mom loves this place. She has been there since they opened and is very happy. Every time I go all are so pleasant and helpful. She loves playing bingo every day and the other activities. Really no complaints. She likes the food too.

My loved one loves the activities. They do well with, keeping the residents engaged, and kepping activities available. They are atttentive and the residents seem like they want to be there. They can improve with making sure, that they monitor the personal belongings of the residents. The staff seems to like what they do. Overall, I am very happy with the place.

My wife has Alzheimer's and has resided in Sabal Palms Memory Care for over three years.. The facility is well built and well maintained. Upon entering the front door it looks like a first class hotel. The staff provides excellent care for each individual under their care. The disease has my wife completely helpless and the staff provides for her every need.

The staff at Sabal Palms is very efficient, caring and worked together as a team to make sure my father was well taken care. The physical therapy department had my father up and walking independently again . He called this his home and enjoyed sitting and talking to staff and residents in the beautiful cheerful lobby. Sable Palms strives to have the best for their residents. Wonderful place to call home..

Sabal Palms is a home away from home. Our Residents have the opportunity to live independently with assistance when needed. On site rehabilitation and recreational activities to promote overall healthy lifestyles.

My mother has been a resident for over two years. She is very happy in this community. She enjoys wandering the grounds. The staff is very friendly and helpful and everyone knows her name. Since I live far away, it is comforting to know she receives great care at Sabal Palms.

Sabal Palms does a great job caring, helping and servicing their residents. It can be difficult dealing with some people regardless of age, physical/mental condition or where they are presently located (work, school, hospital or assisted living places). The staff at Sabal Palms are very good at managing these sometimes obstacles and different personalities and make them feel safe and comfortable whenever possible! You’d be in dreamland if you thought there were no problems in this new world of employee shortages. They important thing is they do what ever necessary to handle the problems of today and keeping their residents safe and comfortable. My almost 97 year old mom has been here over a year.

When we had to find a place for Mom, we had looked at a few places. When we walked into Sabal, we loved how beautiful & welcoming it is. We call it the Ritz when we tell everyone. The staff/employees that work there have been so accommodating for my mother in law. Even with her declining more, she needs more attention to her daily needs. After she had been in the hospital, she kept saying she wanted to go home (Sabal). When we visit her, we visit everyone there, the staff & the residents. She’s been there for 3 years, it’s been challenging with her but the staff has always been there for her. Thank you Sabal friends! Definitely recommend Sabal for your love ones.

This was a wonderful community. They didn't feel they could care for my loved one after their assessment.

I would tell my friend that staff is kind and respectful to your love ones. How they keep the residents engaged through the day. They don't let them sit in a wheelchair in a corner.

HarborChase is the newest, most hospitality driven community in the area. Outstanding food, staff and social activities are top notch. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking into senior living for themselves or a loved one.

HarborChase of Plano is a really nice facility. They have good, competent people. They're very helpful in achieving your goal of placing someone there.

My mother is very negative about almost everything. So can be a challenge at many times. It is not perfect, but I definitely believe they are trying their best to cope with it.

My mom lived at another community and it was not living up to the promises. HarborChase of Southlake has been an answered prayer. Mom has made friends, loves the meal options. I love that she is being cared for, her pendant is answered and the caregivers are trained and very attentive.

Overall it has been a positive experience for my mother, who was reluctant to change but has embraced and loves being a member of the Harbor Chase family. I would always recommend to other families to visit several communities to make sure you're finding the right fit for your loved one. But I definitely recommend checking out HarborChase. My loved one is being well taken care of, and the the facility is kept very clean, which was one of the reasons I chose them.
