My mother is very negative about almost everything. So can be a challenge at many times. It is not perfect, but I definitely believe they are trying their best to cope with it.

My mom lived at another community and it was not living up to the promises. HarborChase of Southlake has been an answered prayer. Mom has made friends, loves the meal options. I love that she is being cared for, her pendant is answered and the caregivers are trained and very attentive.

Overall it has been a positive experience for my mother, who was reluctant to change but has embraced and loves being a member of the Harbor Chase family. I would always recommend to other families to visit several communities to make sure you're finding the right fit for your loved one. But I definitely recommend checking out HarborChase. My loved one is being well taken care of, and the the facility is kept very clean, which was one of the reasons I chose them.

We toured with HarborChase of Plano and it was a very nice place. The facility is very large and we just thought my mom would have a hard time getting around since she was in a wheelchair, especially to the dining room. They did have plenty of great amenities. The one that stuck out most to us was the physical therapy on site that they offered.

I am so glad I helped my mom move in here. It has been more than I COULD HAVE EVER HOPED. [name removed] was great and made the process so easy. Mom is active all of the time now. We are both so lucky!

Nice community are we really liked the community during the tour. The price was more than we wanted to spend.

The HarborChase community is very clean and all of the staff are knowledgeable and attentive to the residents. The apartment our loved one had was very clean, and the day to day staff who gave our loved one the necessary care were great. The meals and dining service is excellent it is nothing that we would of expected. Based on our experience so far we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

HarborChase of Riverwalk does not feel like that typical nursing home, it really feels like a super nice apartment complex. Our loved one is thoroughly enjoying the meals and dining service. They have a little side bar which sounds silly but on this little bar area are handheld sandwiches and drinks that you can get when it s not meal time. The dining facility is wonderful and the food is just top notch. They have a wide selection of meals from the chefs special to your typical daily items like salads, sandwiches, etc. They also have more of an upscale dining area known has the Grill House and if you want to invite your family to come or take your loved on a special fancy date you can get there. It is convenient for those who want to dine a fancier dinner but may not be able to really leave the community. They have their own wine selection which a constant changing menu from lobster, to fillets and scallops. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families for themselves or their loved ones

Everybody was very very friendly. On the day he passed away the staff all came in and were hugging me telling me how sorry they were. I give them a very good rating. I don't think anyone would be sorry to put their family in here. The administrative staff were wonderful. The chef was great too and would always come in to check on us and see if we needed anything. The nurses were so caring as well and their response time was quick, even the laundry gal was amazing. I was there everyday so I got a really good feel for how things were. Overall it was a very good experience.

The staff is amazing! The nurse and memory care director have been there for several years and exude compassion. Great leadership here, all staff are engaging! Resort-like too!!

My Mom loved the place but didn't want a multi level place for my loved one.

It's my loved ones second facility. The transition has been terrific. A much better experience than the first one. They offer a variety of activities for the residents. They do a great job of keeping them engaged during the games.

I really liked HarborChase of Riverwalk. Out of the several places we toured, they were my favorite one. If I would have had the final say, I would have put my parents there. I liked the way the building was situated. I felt it would have been very convenient and less confusing for my parents to get around there. I REALLY liked that they had this special program that was in between assisted living and memory care, which I think would have been prefect for my parents. In the end we chose a community located in North Carolina since South Carolina can’t do a lot of things medically. I felt as my parents aged and progressed in their illness, we would end up back in North Carolina anyway.

Our family had an in person tour and this community is like living in a very luxurious resort. People were having fun playing bingo and poker, and they have nice sized apartments. However it is exceptionally expensive, and the issue we saw is if you have mobility issues you will definitely need a scooter to live here. Even just walking to the dining room you have to walk down big long hallways and use elevators. The residents do have the option to eat in the high end restaurant which is beautiful but only for a certain amount of "points" per month.

Our family has had an excellent experience. It's a nice facility. The staff are friendly. And the care is adequate.

The memory care residents don't get a choice of entrees; however, there are some options for the residents to choose from. We have been pleased with the community and it has been a positive step for our loved one. The staff are excellent and wonderful to work with. There are activities for the residents in assisted living to choose from and participate in.

We are very pleased with HarborChase, they have taken a personal interest in our loved one and one of the best things the staff does is go beyond their day to day job duties and actually engage with our loved one. They figure out things she likes and has interest in so they can build a bond. They also do a really good job encouraging our loved one to come out and watch the activities

My parents have been really happy here. Dad had to have a major surgery, and Harbor Chase was really the only place that could provide the care that he needed afterward. And they've done excellently with that. The staff have all been excellent, especially the two [name removed]s. There's a nurse and a CNA both named [name removed], and they both have been such good caretakers for my parents. The director, [name removed], is awesome as well. She took her time to show me some things and didn't make me feel like she was being put out at all. [Name removed] has also been a very kind person. She's the one who helped me get them into Harbor Chase at the beginning.
