The friendliness and care they show toward the residents are exceptional. The facility itself is also decorated for seasonal holidays and is very cheery. There are various room sizes to accommodate different needs. My Mother-in-Law, for instance has two main areas: one for sleeping and another sitting room spot. She also has a kitchenette and private bath. There are other rooms that are somewhat smaller and combine everything into a single efficiency apartment type of concept. Most basic amenities are covered in the price, which is nice. If someone wanted a landline, premium cable channels, extra wifi capacity, or something along g that line, it would be extra.

They have kept an excellent eye on my parents, health wise. Staff is lacking sometimes, just like everywhere. Our parents have had lots of health issues. It hasn't been easy but the facility has helped tremendously.

When it comes to the value for cost gets a 3, but that's because fortunately my father isn't in need of as much care as others. They could improve on the food. The food service not very good

High employee turnover & laundry/clothing is a problem. It doesn't seem like they do much for activities. Cost seems to be high, but yes I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far

The staff, at Redstone Village, needs to be more empathetic with family at the skilled nursing level.

It's a nice facility with good people. They haves big problem with the main elevator after every storm Today is the third day it has been inoperative. Cleanliness- they keep the facility very well. The staff is excellent in most areas although there is a lot of changing their positions Meals/dining -They use basic food that has a lot of white bread, vegetables are overcooked. It's always heavy on meat,and all of the soups are meat based. When Mom went in they promised that they could make lots of vegetarian. They can't and they don't. I'm sure that they charge a lot for food and she usually makes her own meals and brings it down so she can socialize.. Activities -There is very little variety bingo, and cards,some athleticism work. They live for happy hour but the dates aren't consistent and it's now very crowded because they have joined the IL with the AL

The reason we chose Lighthouse was because the people seemed friendly and social and the cost was good. My Dad has only been there since May and we had a small issue with communication when my Dad needed a throat procedure but overall I'm pleased.

I am still finding my place around here, but overall I am very satisfied. The facility is always clean the staff are very attentive friendly and caring. All questions are answered any concerns I have had has been addressed. I find them doing everything very well I'm allowed to have a ring camera in her room.So if I see someone I'm not familiar with they always know.I feel that helps.

They are super nice and friendly. Very personal like a family member relationship. And I gave the pricing a low but all care facilities are expensive

They always say hello to the residence using their name when passing, etc. I do find they seem to use tender care. My father has some dementia and they know how to talk to him. They don't force the residence to do what they don't want to do. They are not good in knocking on his door to remind meals, or trying to encourage showers or changing of clothes. Have lost meds on a couple of occasions. I keep addressing these issues.

One of the best facilities in town and would recommend them but need to keep in touch. There's been a lot of turnover which seems to be common anymore.

We feel there is a professional staff and they don't make decisions without getting the OK of the family. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend Lighthouse Senior Living to other families

It's complicated. I wouldn't say we liked it per se. I gave Lighthouse 4s on my scorecard because it's a well managed, and overall a very good, facility. But my mom had a lot of problems--agitation, anxiety, etc.--and the last year of her life was very difficult and painful for us. She was gently expelled from LH for a series of disruptive incidents.

Highly recommend Cascade Heights. Friendly people very attentive staff. Lots of options

My sister moved to [facility name removed] due to the large monthly increase at Red Cedar Glen. It was way too expensive and the staff were not kind.

We chose Red Cedar Glen initially because my aunt knew some of the other residents here, which was nice and helped her settle in. There was a lot of turnover in tech staff. Admissions and the main nurse were fantastic, but the constant change in staff was unsettling.

During the time my Mom was a resident, the care team was very attentive. In her last days she moved to the memory care unit and the care was not as attentive because they expected the hospice nurse to do most of the care. The administration was not great. Hard to reach, non-responsive and you had to stay after them for very simple request.

Maris Pointe did an excellent job very happy very clean. They went through help but that is anywhere. Overall, very happy would recommend them to anybody.

I toured many facilities before choosing lighthouse. The main factor for me was the cleanliness of the facility. The staff, right down to the maintenance personnel knew the names of the residents and were very kind. The supervisors jump in to help with anything that needs fixing. Their communication with me has been superb.

I have told a friend and sent them to A Place for Mom too. My mom and I just had a talk about her experience there. I think it is an affordable facility for my mom, and she loves her studio apartment where she just brought her favorite things so it feels comfortable to her. She hates the food but not as much as she hated doing her own food. She agrees she's safer there, she likes that they clean her room including doing a load of towels and sheets (including stripping and remaking the bed). I could say more about what she hates about the dining situation...
