I really liked Lighthouse Senior Living and my husband is happy over here. Overall it has been a very good experience.

It is a newer community which was a plus for us - the room our loved one has is a one bedroom, one bathroom with a large closet for storage. It has a full kitchenette area so it makes it feel more like an apartment. For what we get the value is good - we got in on a really good deal. One drawback which is something everyone is experiencing is that they are loosing staff - because of this the quality of care is not up to par which has been an adjustment but we understand they are trying their best and we would still recommend this community to other families.

I toured every single assisted living facility in the area, and the people at Red Cedar Glen were very, very kind to me. We had selected them for move-in, and the only issue I had at all was it took a really long time (a couple of months) for us to get a refund after it turned out our loved one was not able to move in.

The biggest issue was the constant change in staff, there was a lot of turnover in management as well as caregivers. That was very frustrating when a new person had to learn everything all over again. I do think that the communication between upper management and caregivers could have been improved as well.

The staff members at Aldea Green have been super friendly and based on the overall experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to other families. We have not eaten a meal there ourselves but from what our loved one says they seem to be good. Our loved one does not participate in the activities, but from what we can tell the actvities seem great.

I know that she is in a good place and I do not have to worry about her. The staff is very responsive and they truly care about the residents, it is not just a job for them. The residents get a menu and there is a chef on site that prepares the meals and they are great. She actually uses quality ingredients as well. I would recommend Lighthouse Senior Living to others looking.

My loved one was there for a short time, but I think it was pretty good. There was one person on the night shift who she told me was not agreeable about helping her. But overall the staff were good. And the facility itself was nice. I was not happy that they overcharged us in the beginning and also after moveout, but they are supposedly going to reimburse that.

The physical appearance of the community is great and it is always very clean. They have activities and on certain designated days the go to Walmart or the Dollar Tree. We would recommend the Red Cedar Glen to other families

Our tour at The Crossings was very good. It was a brand new, very nice facility. They were probably our second choice. The biggest difference was overall cost. Their cost is based on a scale of how much help the resident needs. So as they need more assistance, the cost goes up, and I was concerned that could end up being very expensive.

Our family had an in person tour and this could of easily been one of our top choices. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, the building was relatively new and very clean. The front of the building is very well decorated with flowers and great landscaping, but the back is pretty bare. There are really no bushes or flowers and just lacking in color.

We chose Highpoint at Cape Coral because the nursing care staff was better trained than some others places that we looked and also there is a pool. They do also have a lot of activities provided for the residents and bring in a lot of entertainment. They have a relationship with the school system and they bring in the kids to put on little plays and interact with them. I would recommend them to others looking.

Staff have been very helpful and they all seem to know my brother by name and they know who we are when we come to visit. Plenty of activities are offered here but he does not always participate. They do provide a shuttle service for residents to take them to run errands or go to close doctors appointments which is very nice. The food they serve seems to be nourishing and he enjoys it for the most part, he does have a good variety to choose from. We did have a billing problem in the beginning that took a while to work out, but it has been resolved. He seems to be quite happy here and we would recommend to others looking.

What our family really likes about the Aldea Green community is that it is centrally location, easy to get to and good quality staff members who do a decent job at looking after the residents in the community.

Highpoint is a fairly new community, very well planned out space, lots of activities and the staff are very caring. My loved one is happy here.

The staff and how friendly they have been to our family really stood out to us. The apartments at Robin Way are very nice and spacious.

Our family had an in person tour and it was nice, the director was kind and friendly. Our tour was during lunch time so we did not really get to see any activities going on but we did get to speak with the onsite nurse and her assistant and they were great and very good with answering our questions.

This was a new and good community, just wasn't the right fit for my loved one.

I would recommend this community to others based on my experience. The only issue is maintenance requests can take too long to complete and their communication could be bettter

When you do your tour pay attention to the care of the residents are receiving and not the sales pitch. Ask questions so that you really understand what they offer. I would recommend this community if your loved one is more independent.
