Receptionist is phenomenal. The nurses great. Caregivers are good, but they have a lot of agency people in and out. It seems hard for them to keep good help. Cleaning staff is great. Food is very good. Activities are good but lacking and craftsmanship. I still think management could use improvement.

I thought Lighthouse was perfect for my sister. They gave her meds and cleaned her room. She was in an efficiency size room. A full size bed with recliner along with a small table and chairs to sit/eat at. The staff was always friendly. There were activities every day, pizza for football games. Staff would get her for her meals if she wasn't in the cafeteria. Several of the residents would gather in the lobby area or outside on benches to talk. My sister met some lovely people there. I had a problem that concerned her prescriptions. And she was only there for seven months but the rent went up very quickly.

I have found Highpoint Assisted Living to be a wonderful option for my father. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, and the staff are caring, friendly, and genuinely engaged with the residents. There are a variety of activities available, and residents can participate as much or as little as they would like. I especially appreciate the engaging social events, including happy hours, which provide opportunities for residents to connect and enjoy themselves. Another important factor for our family is that nursing staff are available 24/7. I also feel very involved in my dad’s care and decisions. The staff keep me informed and promptly communicate any concerns regarding his wellness or care, which gives me great peace of mind. The healthy meal options are another positive, and overall, I feel confident knowing my father is being looked after in a safe, caring, and supportive environment. I would recommend Highpoint Assisted Living to families looking for a place where their loved one will receive attentive care while still having opportunities for socialization, activities, and independence.

Vista Veranda is a lot smaller than other places we visited which we liked. Moms room is just the right size for her. The room wasn't as clean as we thought it should be - we did some cleaning ourselves. We liked that an alert button is something that is worn everyday and has to be turned off by the person who helps her and they have several levels to get someone to help with what she needs. Staff is helpful and friendly. They remind her of activities and meals. Mom is back on her feet and walking with a cane except for breakfast, she's unsteady when she first gets up and they take her in a wheelchair. Mom seems happy with the food. They encourage Vista Veranda as a community!

The rivers has been good. The caregivers are kind and the residents make you feel welcome. The food and activities have been good as well

They are transitioning to new owners/management company so that has been a change - but I would still recommend. It's a good facility and has lots of kind/caring staff

It's been an adjustment for my parents. Probably the biggest complaint would be regarding the food. Sometimes it's cold, not always a quality meal. It seems a lot of food is not eaten by the residents. There was an issue with the laundry on one occasion but I believe that employee was terminated. I have expressed our concerns with the Executive Director recently. The staff seem very friendly and helpful.

I like the facility very much, but I find they're often out of caregivers and putting a lot on just one or two people. The one nurse there [name removed] the LPN is exceptional. She holds whole facility together when it comes to the nursing staff her and [name removed] the RN. The food is very good. The Chef [name removed] makes great soup. The receptionist [name removed] holds the front end together she's exceptional. Again, the only downfall is the lack of caregivers at times

Very good experience. Do your homework on pricing for apartments; level of care cost, transportation and laundry services. Then go to Aldea. I think families will find that they are just as competitive if not a little more than other assisted living in the area.

Most all personnel is great! Clean. Fixed things I complained about.

Overall, I have been pleased with The Rivers. Particularly during the recent ice storm and they're evacuation plan when the boiler broke. For the assisted living side, the food is much better than in the memory care side. But all of the staff, in either assisted living or memory care, have been excellent. The communication was a little bit lacking when they first converted to the new ownership, but otherwise I am still pleased with my choice.

They do get 3 meals a day and their rooms have recently been redone. My MIL has complained about the food lately. I'm not sure if them saving money or just giving her group less because they pay less and the ones that pay more sometimes complain about it. They seem nice and caring. She enjoys the exercise classes. They recently stopped giving them ice cream which has been a major complaint. They used to give them similar food to the independent people but now they're giving them AL food.

I would have to say what we like the most about the community is the staff. They really do have the residents best interest at heart. They are also very supportive of the families and keep them well informed & involved. Yes, we would recommend Red Cedar Glen to others

During my visit, it felt right. It was clean, the staff was friendly. And several residents were in the activities room. Activities director is wonderful. My mom is so happy there.

We chose them because of the, Montessori approach to care. I would recommend to others.
