We chose Waterford Estates because it was at the time really convenient to family and it was a very clean facility. The room sizes here seem to be on the smaller side compared to others that we looked into. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

My loved one is on the VA floor. This floor has extra assistance and benefits compared to other parts of the community. During the holidays there was a lack of activities and meals were horrible. The meals consisted of sandwiches and the residents had to go back to their rooms to eat.

Staff is very gentle and friendly. I really enjoy the community.

Pleasant, friendly, and for walking into a new community it has been very decent.

We chose Concord place mostly because of the affordability. The apartment sizes here are spacious, she is in a studio. She always says she likes the food. The best part about the community is that the staff are very friendly, the manager seems to know everyone by name. I would recommend it.

I felt safe with my sister in law there. My sister in law did not like the food. The room sizes and layout of the community were good. The staff was very considerate. They accept pets, there is an area in the back where you can walk your dog.

It is a great place and fits in the budget. The food is okay. The layout of the community is good and the room sizes are good. The staff is friendly. They have a large gazebo and benches for outdoor space.

I’d loved seeing so many active seniors interacting with each other and with staff during my visit. The community was clean and I thought my mom would love the outdoor space with the gazebo. Everything seems to be included in the pricing and they have an “age in place” philosophy, which is what we’re looking for. Overall the community might not be a five star resort, but it was very nice and comfortable. We’re planning to follow up to get more information and schedule a lunch for my mom to visit.

No laundry machines allowed in unit, my mom loved the two bedroom.

Lovely team on site. Just a little heavier on the assisted living than the retirement community my uncle was looking for. Super tour- nice size units and an all day restaurant which makes meals easy to enjoy.

Very promising--nice looking facility. Activity programs appear nice. Menu options are nice. Services are just what we are looking for.

I think for the money, this is a good place. The elevators need to be upgraded. There are three and alot of the time there is only one working. They do not have a voice that tells you what floor you are on, so for those with eye site issues it is not helpful. Everyone there is very helpful when you need something. The separate care facility is very good and addresses all my mother's needs. Over all I am happy with where she is.

They are experiencing help issues, both in food services and caregivers. Many promises that it will get better but have not seen it.

The Grand is a beautiful facility with a friendly staff and care team if extra assistance is needed. My 91 year old mother is comfortable there, and there is peace of mind that she has her meals and care when required. As we are not on Facebook, we have very little communication regarding events, the menu, or other news, otherwise, we are happy with the Grand so far.

Unfortunately, the entrance, hallways, etc give the impression of being old and tired... outdated, in need of some new carpeting and general sprucing up. Due to the age of things, it gives the impression of being dirty, which is unfortunate for those who I'm sure work hard there. [Name removed] is a wonderful asset to the Concord. He provided a wealth of knowledge, kindness and compassion to help me in my search for a place for my parents to move to. The apartments themselves are nice and quite spacious really. There is a heated indoor pool and many common areas for gathering with new friends. Three meals a day are a nice benefit for those who will take advantage of that. Nice to know that cooking and cleaning do not need to be a part of everyday life any longer when not convenient or wanted. Parking is difficult at best, per a current resident. No assigned parking spots. Laundry facilities (if doing your own) are in the basement and are $0.75 per load. Inconvenient when considering the elevators, which are also in need of some updating. They are old, slow and one is sometimes broken (also per current resident). Common areas were beyond chilly when I visited. A warm sweater or sweatshirt would be needed at all times. The private apartment, peace of mind of on site assistance if needed, along with the knowledge that this is a Supportive Living community, all keeps the negatives from detracting from the # of stars I have given. If the owners would make some upgrades, this would be a 5 star +!

So far, things are going good for my Dad here. One thing they could improve on is the service in the dining area because, by the time he gets his dinner, it’s cold. The food is good though and he seems satisfied with it. There are usually 2 or 3 choices for him to pick from, so there’s some variety. The staff is good with answering any questions or finding the answer if they don’t have one. The building itself is nice, neat, clean, and doesn’t have a weird smell. They have a few different activities available like game nights and movies. Based on our experience, I would recommend them.

I toured this community and it was pretty good. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was a little dark and I wanted my Mom to be somewhere that had a lot of lighting and a better environment. The staff was very friendly and I even got a follow up call from the director afterwards. The facility looked pretty clean and nice. While I was there, I constantly saw workers going back and forth tending to the residents and that was a good sign. They also showed me the restaurant and it looked really nice. The location wasn’t great for our needs so we decided against moving her in but overall it wasn’t a bad facility.

The decor was bright, open and cheery. I didn't see a lot of residents out and about. They had a nice park area adjacent to the facility. It was a nice, clean community but just not a fit for my aunt.

I toured this facility when looking for a place for my parents to go so my experience was limited to just that. But everything was nice, the people seemed to be gracious, and everything seemed to be clean, which was the first thing I noticed. As soon as I walked in, there was no terrible odor or anything like at some other facilities you might see. I didn’t pick up on anything unpleasant. They take public aid but they don’t provide Alzheimer’s care, which is something that my parents were going to need so unfortunately this community didn’t work for us, though it is where I would’ve preferred to put my parents. They showed me a sample room that seemed nice but the windows were kind of small and the room seemed a little bit darker than other places I had taken a look at.

The facility itself looked really nice. Everything about this facility felt like a homey atmosphere. All of the residents and staff members seemed to be really nice and friendly. This facility is more towards people who are advanced in their conditions and require a lot of nursing help. The only bad thing I can say about this community is that the residents just looked really down and they couldn’t do anything for themselves. I would recommend this facility.
