It’s a lovely facility. Everyone is very professional. I’ve never seen anyone be nasty to the residents. My sister and I ate at the facility for the Mother's Day brunch. It was very nice and the food very tasty. My loved one likes the food. Parking can be a problem for visitors especially for quick visits or picking up the resident. The day my loved one moved in, we weren’t really greeted. We didn’t know where we were going or who we should talk to but then my sister was just transitioning from a rehab facility and perhaps they dropped the ball.. The only other concern is the billing – I have to have an invoice to submit to the long term insurance provider and getting one takes a reminder or two but then it has only been 3 months. It is a very lovely place though.

C said her friend doesn't like to eat in the dining room because people fall asleep in their food.

I got to the front door and they were pretty crowded... on the outside its beautiful, it looks very serene, comfortable, like they'd be able to go out for walks when the weather permits. However, like all of them, once you get in the door you're in the dark basement somewhere. I just don't get why they don't let them have light, people thrive off of light.

This place was nice but I just didn't get a good feeling from it.

They do not have locks on the doors and she did not mention "memory secure". I have also heard about staffing issues since they are new.

Mom was here for over a year. This is a very large facility with very little staff. I would avoid if your loved one actually needs any care.

I am not as impressed with the staff as I expected. they don't keep up with the clients like the should if the clients don't get around easily. cleaning crew not as good as Brookdale.

This is an older worn out community. They did let us know that they were going to be doing some remodeling. The community seemed clean and the person we spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable.

No One wow what a place ..Thank God I didn't die... it wouldn't been good for you . I'm saying this for Good reason if you care about your resident's check on them No one brought me food nothing I mean nothing.......,,, I'm the one who didn't feel good .and been in Bed,,,,,,,,, And why don't you check on resident's. Why why and No Food... not happy. I called a cna to check my colvid test .. and yes it was oka

They had a ED that was awful a lot of good employees left they cared less all they have now is agency people they need to get all the employees back that left how can you have people cooking for the residents and cleaning the floors maybe a certificate should be in place

The amount of rudeness I received from the RECEPTIONIST is insane. I toured this facility with [name removed] which was very nice, professional and thorough providing excellent details regarding facility. I called and asked to speak with [name removed] (I believe she is the new director) and instead of being transferred to her I was transferred to a nurse.. I called back and the receptionist yelled at me telling me I have the wrong place and hung up on me. I called back repeatedly which she would not answer until I called from a different number. If the receptionist is rude I could only imagine how they treat residents. I wouldn't dare put my love one here.

We took a tour of The Grand at Twin Lakes during our search for an Independent Living facility for our loved one. This facility was okay. Everyone seemed friendly during our visit. The facility was a little less cozy and comfortable than some of the others that we toured. Nice facility, but too big for my loved one.

I Considered this a quality facility when I moved in, now years later it has lost its “Grandness”. Yes covid did not help, but cleanliness of the building, has suffered, the landscaping was considered enviable but the courtyard is in need of major help. What was initially fine dining is now basic diner type food, nothing special. And they cannot keep a chef. Overall decor could use a facelift, after 4+ years it’s needs an update. You might ask why am I still here? The residents have become friends. And the economy as it is now keeps me from moving now.

I would recommend you look elsewhere for a place for your loved one. There are times that I have to wait days to get through to the staff to check on my loved one. I don't hear from medical staff on how my loved one is doing, so I hired an outside agency nurse to care for my loved one. The person that is in charge of the entire community has been rude. He was sarcastic and I was surprised by how he treated the family while speaking to him. [name removed] has been great to work with, and [name removed] in the finance department has been good to work with as well.

I feel the money wasn't going towards their residents in memory care. The assisted living was very nice. In the memory care they could do a revamp of décor. I didn't see a lot of the residents during the tour.

I'm still trying to adapt.

Director was friendly. They don’t take people over 64 years. I was not impressed with the entrance and the way the residents seem unprotected sitting on the front. I felt they were vulnerable.

The location was hosting a cookout on the day I visited, so a large number of the residents were in the common areas. While it was somewhat congested the staff appeared to know each resident by name including any current activity the resident was involved with.
