I believe families should know that they will need to be present and helpful to their loved one. If the person is not fully able of making their own sound decisions, and is not able to advocate for themselves, it might not be the place for them. They will need to be able to clean their own apartment and call if housekeeping doesn't come in as scheduled weekly. I think the nursing staff has some that care some that do not, and don't want to be bothered. I would recommend this facility only for a person whom is very mobile, not beginning to have any memory issues and is vocal about their needs.

My loved one is currently a resident at Victory Centre of River Woods and overall things have been good for him. I think he's in a good place, not great but good. I do recommend this facility to others.

The friendliness of the staff members can vary between a 3 and 5 overall rating depending on the staff member. Update carpeting and furniture and food is a good place to start with improvements. My mom was there during a rough period as the new management took over and many of the employees left. So we were there during a period of transition. Hopefully there are more permanent staff now and things have settled in better.

What our family likes the most about the Concord Place is the accessibility of facilities and availability of the recourses. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Based on the experience we have had so far with Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge, the employees were nice and very attentive and we like all the engagement activities they have going on for the residents there!

My loved one resides at Waterford Estates Senior Living and her experience at this facility has been good. As far as the staff goes, they are friendly and responsive. The housekeeping staff keeps the facility clean. The communication with the family is good. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I would say our experience with Concord Place has been positive overall. There has been a couple of issues but they were taken care of. Overall the experience with A Place For Mom was good, and the experience with Concord place has been good also.

The location is horrible ( the facility is in a triangle between a railroad track, a busy street, and an interstate, with nothing else around it). But, what you get here is amazing. The front line staff is great. The food's not bad. Its expensive, but after seeing a few different places, I think it's a good deal for the area. And it takes care of everything I need.

Very friendly staff. Great environment. Meals are amazing, and if you don't like the two courses, they have a full menu you can order from. I would recommend this place to anybody 55 and older.

My mother is happy there meeting people is great. I have had issues with her care. For instance I must call and call to ensure that the care needed is being done. I asked the [name removed] to tell the nurse to please get my mother a UTI test. It wasn't done until the following week. I had to call nurse and Dr. To get the test done. The Dr. Sucks big time.

My loved one is lactose intolerant. The Grand Regency requires me to purchase and deliver his lactose free milk. I think his dietary needs should be included in his monthly charge.

My tour experience with Waterford Estates was just ok. I just felt this facility did not have the same homey feeling as the other places that we looked into.

My loved one loves the food. She is getting more invloved, with the activites such as Wii bowling, and Bingo. We picked this community, because of the reputaion that they had. My loved one would like to be able to access the pool more often. I would recommend to other families.

The staff members here are super friendly and are very attentive, they do their best to really explain things into detail for us. the activities are presentable and base don my experience I would recommend this community to other families.

Lots of activities, food is good and appealing, everyone is friendly, faculty renovations are great. Nursing staff and follow through is challenging.

This was a good community with good staff. The price was more than we wanted to spend.

This facility is very nice. It's an open concept floorplan and very wheelchair friendly/accessible. The place is always spotless and the staff is very nice. They take the time to get to know the residents and family members, they know everyone by name. They offer a wide variety of activities and always have something going on. The staff tries to keep everyone engaged. Housekeeping is once a week and my loved one's place is always clean. My only concern is the Executive Director whom doesn't seem to be very forthcoming with things that are going on. We've noticed a change in Meals/Dining recently (mainly no meal choices). I emailed the Executive Director about it and was assured that everything was fine. I then found out from another staff member that the entire Meals/Dining staff quit. Other than the Executive Director, all of the other staff has been great. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We had a good tour experience with Victory Centre of Vernon Hills. We thought it was a nice facility, but another place seemed like a better fit for our loved one.

In house visiting nurse practitioner is excellent. Executive staff is trying; much upheaval. Polite and helpful initial entry. Clean and organized. Safe. Nursing staff is non-communicative. Dining is poorly staffed and mom complains the food is not good. Half of the LEAs are good but other half is agency hired and they do not speak English so hard to communicate and safely work alongside. Main staff communicates well and again the working staff is marginal. I do not care for the nursing staff. They make you feel like you are a total burden.

The big deciding factors for us to pick Concord Place for our loved one was the accessibility - our loved one has a walker and all the doors slide open except for the apartment door, there are no stairs anywhere which is a huge relief. The second was the price - they have supportive care and the value is reasonably priced which is another huge aspect. The food generally is pretty good with a few glitches here and there. However the activities really need some improvement that is a disappointment for our loved one - they are very childish like bingo and coloring.
