Waterford did a great job keeping people protected. My dad was taken care of great while we were not able to visit with him. You have to be proactive and keep an eye on things just like any place. I would believe them when they tell you don't have to worry. They have followed through on everything they have told us they would do. The food is average.

My father lived at Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge for a little over 2-1/2 years. Throughout the changes there, the one friendly constant was [name removed] - Lifestyle Specialist. She has always gone above and beyond since the days when she and my dad were both located at Victory Centre of Park Forest Independent Building. She's the reason I was able to get my father moved into the building when he was refusing to sign the paperwork for me. She's also the reason I kept him there after the rest of management starting leaving. I appreciate everything she has done! Since the newest management staff, [name removed] - Executive Director, [names removed] - Business Office Manager, and [names removed] - Wellness Manager, there have been some serious improvements at this location. It is very visible that all of them truly care about the residents. Previously I was having some difficulties concerning my dad and they all pitched in to help me with him. I'm truly grateful to all of you. Thank you!

My first experience with Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge was with [name removed]; she greeted me and gave me an extensive tour of your facility for my Sister. I was extremely impressed with her kindness and professionalism she displayed. [name removed] was cordial, professional and patience, outlining daily activity's, and any questions or concerns I mentioned. I can finally sleep at night knowing that my sister is in the best of care with [name removed] and her colleagues. Whenever I contact [name removed], she always have detail answers, utilizing her experience and expertise. It is always a pleasing pleasure meeting with her. Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge is by far the best assistant living facility my sister has ever experienced.

I am more than happy with my life at the grand. Especially with the wonderful caregivers led by [Name removed] who is very kind and considerate and also smart! I want to especially mention [Name removed] executive director, who is always there for me. Also the caregivers are considerate and kind and always go the extra mile. I am so happy with Chef [Name removed], his meals are fantastic. And [Name removed] wears many hats and excels at them all .. I only have wonderful things to say about all of the staff, [Name removed]too does a great job at the front desk. It’s a wonderful atmosphere with beautiful surroundings and friendly residents.

My mother [Name removed] Has been living at the Grand for 10 months. All her needs are taken care of by a wonderful caregiving staff led by [Name removed]. [Name removed]is kind, understanding and always ready to help. [Name removed] is always there when my mother needs her also. All of the staff go above and beyond in helping my mother and she loves them! My mother also enjoys the beautiful and calm surroundings, the wonderful dining room, the amazing chef and has met many good friends. She has been very happy here!

Toured many facilities in the area and was pleasantly surprised with the Grand Twin Lakes. Spacious rooms, cleanliness was exceptional. After asking many questions not only of the staff but also residents, I feel this will be a special place for my mom. This will be a new community of friends which will also become her family. C.H.

I recommend Coles Supportive Living to relatives concerned about their loved ones well being. I went there as my last resort when really it should have been my first. One of the staff members by the name of [name removed] accommodated my aunt and I around the facility making us feel at home. Being a concerned relative with all of my questions and requirements he was more than patient with me and made sure I got all the answers I needed. Right away he moved my aunt in and to this day I can call and check on her and get the same courtesy as I did on the first day.

Mom moved into Waterford Estates and the transition was smooth, caring, and easy. The admin staff is fantastic. The staff is patient and understands that moving into a new home as an elderly person takes time for adjustment. I highly recommend this residence.

My mother and another woman were the first two occupants of The Grand, that was back on June [Removed]. Both my mother and my siblings have been very happy with not only the facility but all of the staff that go along with it. They are all extremely friendly and helpful with my mother who is 87 years old and the memory is not all there. They look after her and keep me updated all the time. [Removed], who we cannot say enough about is warm, thoughtful, caring, and loving with not only my mom but with all the tenants and their families. When I am ready to live in a retirement home it will definitely be at the Grand at Twin Lakes, Palatine, IL. I highly recommend this facility for all seniors looking for a beautiful, clean and friendly environment to live in.

Mom moved into the community over a month ago and loves this place. There are activities, excursions, pleasant residents and a friendly staff willing to assist. She moved here to have people around her and daily activities that she could not enjoy any longer due to giving up her driving. Her comment is why did it take her so long to begin this new chapter in her life. As her family, we are relieved that she is enjoying this place and has people around her on a daily basis.

Amazing value, caring staff. [Removed] was outstanding in helping our family through the process during this time of change for my mother. Waterford is a pleasant, self-contained community and very conveniently located. Lovely physical environment. Would highly recommend it!

I have not participated in the activities, as I am not a resident but was responsible for a friend moving to Waterford Estates. It has only been three weeks and so far they have done everything that is expected. The staff is very friendly and most importantly, they relate to my friend very well.

My mom recently moved into the Victory Centre of Bartlett and I could not be more pleased and impressed. EVERYONE on the staff of this facility is absolutely wonderful! The caregivers and medical staff are friendly and handle mom with great care and patience. The management team, headed by [Removed] and [Removed] are exceptional executives and made a tough situation so easy for us. After two years of checking out competitive facilities within the Chicago area, I can say with complete confidence that the Victory Centre is by far the best choice in the supportive living category.

At age 99, after years of living on her own, my Mom began to start falling down periodically. As there were many times she was alone, and with both me and my daughter working full-time, we became concerned for her welfare and thought it was time to find a nice facility where we all could have peace of mind and Mom could also enjoy the company of other seniors. As we started looking at facilities, we did get a little discouraged. But, my cousin had a friend who knew of Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge and advised us to go see the facility. On our first visit to Victory Centre, we met [Removed] (Lifestyle Coordinator); she provided answers to all of my questions, assisted me with the paperwork and was always available at every step of the process. She has a genuine love and affection for the residents and made my Mom feel special right way. Latrice even let my daughter and I decorate Mom’s room before she moved in to make her transition easier. We still have videos of Mom walking in her room and crying with happiness, so pleased about her beautiful room. A few months after moving in my Mom had some health issues, with several stays in the hospital. At this time, I really thought we would have to find alternate housing. But [Removed] (Executive Director) called me and said that Victory Centre was Mom’s home and of course, she could come back. That really sealed it for me. Mom eventually recovered from her health issues and has been doing well. I can tell she is loved by many of the workers and residents, which gives me such peace of mind. The facility is clean, they have numerous outings and activities and a nice menu in their dining room. All the nurses are extremely nice, especially [Removed] and have been helpful in keeping me updated on Mom’s health. A couple of years ago at Mom’s 100th birthday, the Director and many of the workers and residents were on hand to help Mom celebrate. Mom will be 102 years old this September and continues to do well and I know a lot of that is due to being at Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge. I would definitely recommend this facility for your loved one.

My mother in law seems to like living at Alexian VIllage. She likes the entire staff. She thinks the food is good and the community is clean. They offer daily activities that she likes to participate in. I would recommend this community.

This is a nice community and the staff were very nice. They offered a good meal plan. This is part of Victory Center and has the same core value. The community is kept clean and well maintained.

The Victory Centre of Vernon Hills has wonderful staff. I was able to get all of my questions answered during my tour. The community was well organized. I really liked all the activities and amenities that are offered. The guide was knowledgeable and very nice. I would recommend a tour of the community.

I would like to commend the staff and Director, Vicky Striegel, on the caring and kindness shown to my mother during her recent transition to supportive living at the Victory Centre. Being out -of -state, I especially appreciated the follow-up on emails and assurance that my mother was in exceptional hands. This close communication was very helpful for our family as well. The individual assistance and support shown by staff went above and beyond the required, at the time it was most needed. We are so very grateful and my mother is now living in a such a thoughtful and caring environment with great leadership!

The group here are outstanding. The care given to my mom has given us pice of mind. Communication is open and helpful. Complex is clean and food is wonderful,

My dad's ability to care for himself began to decline in mid 2015. I lived an hour away from him and was very concerned for his safety and well being. He suffers from dementia and he began having several incidents, which raised cause for alarm, where his safety was concerned. I was not able to move him in with me and had lots of concerns when considering placing him in a safe and caring environment that would provide him the attention that he needed. I began to look in to what my options were and quickly became frustrated at the process of searching. Finally, I reached Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge on my search list. I must say that all though they were 7 on my list, they were well worth the wait! I believe that by contacting the previous 6 locations, it made it so obvious that Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge was exactly what I was looking for. From the moment I met with Latrice, Lifestyle Coordinator ( she is amazing,) I had not doubt that my dad would be taken care of at this facility. I left our first meeting feeling such a sigh of relief that I had made the right decision in getting him placed in their care. Today, I have no regrets. Everyone that I have encountered at the facility have been nothing but courteous, attentive, and caring to my father's needs. They all know my dad by name, and they know what apartment he lives in. Diane keeps sweets up at the front desk for him because she knows that he loves them. When I am feeling concerns regarding my dad's health needs, they always make the time to meet with me and help me understand what he is experiencing because they are very familiar with the stages of his condition. Whenever his doctors add changes to his care regimen, they are very accommodating when meeting the needs of these changes. I just cannot totally convey just how appreciative and glad I am that they have been there for me and my dad during this difficult time of change in his life.
