We had visited at least 10 assisted living facilities before Tina from A Place for Mom suggested we visit Waterford Estates. I almost decided to cancel the tour, but changed my mind. So happy I did as I loved it there from the moment I walked in. I am so pleased with not only the facility, but with the people who work there. They are caring, helpful and considerate. Always seem concerned with my mom's well-being. Someone checks on her every 2 hours which is a big relief for me. It is very clean, well-appointed and there is always some activity going on for the residents. She has her own apartment which makes her feel at home since the furniture is from her former residence. There is a beautiful dining room on the first floor plus an additional one on the floor where she resides. I know I've made the right choice and would like to thank Tina Schachter from A Place for Mom for her recommendation.

My mother lives at victory center, and I try to go as often as possible, although my busy schedule does not always allow it. There used to be a CNA there by the name of Ashley. She always had different colored hair (in fact last time i saw her she had blue hair). I haven't seen her in months, and she was by far the best CNA victory center had to offer. So sweet, fun and compassionate. The residents really seemed to smile when she was around. I don't know if she still works there, but this is be rating her personally.

When you walk in it is not the most plush or fancy place, and maybe the decor is a little dated, but it is very clean and safe. They take good care of them and it is very affordable. My mom is in independent living. They provide three meals a day and weekly housekeeping. They provide transportation to various places, and there is a calendar for everyone to see that shows when they'll be going to which store. They have movie nights and exercise classes. There is always something to do. We are very happy. They have studios and up to a two bedroom apartment. My mom is in a studio, but they have so many things going on that she isn't in her room very much.

My mom is very happy at Concord Place. They are always friendly when i come. My mom has her own one bedroom apartment. She has been here for 2 months. She has made some good friends and enjoys meals with her friends and sitting outside and visiting. She has really gotten involved in all the activities they offer. She plays bingo 4 evenings a week. She attends exercise classes every morning. She really enjoys the restaurant style meals. Lots of choices. You also can eat when you want. No set times.

My brother is living there. It's a wonderful community. It was a beautiful facility.The people were very kind and he was very comfortable there. The food was good and the fellowship was good with the other residents. They have lots of activities.

I was quite impressed with the facility and staff. Everyone was very polite, very informative. Refreshing. Except for the resident smoking outside under the green canopy (close to door), I have nothing but good things to say about Victory Centre of Bartlett.

We think it's fantastic! It's such an improvement from where she was. Unfortunately Victory Centre doesn't have rehabilitation so we had to place my mother-in-law in a different place for that and the difference is amazing. The food is edible at Vitory Centre, the people that are there are friendly and up beat, and the help is very good. I can't say enough good things! The cost factor alone is $6000 less than what we had to pay for the other place. What you get for the amount you pay is great. I have peace of mind and it was a pleasure to find a place that helps me help her.

We chose Courtyard Estates for the proximity to my mother-in-law's son and family and also because of the friendliness of the people. We were impressed with the staff - they were very helpful. My mother-in-law says the food is great. The communtiy is close to a pharmacy so for those who are capable, they can walk less than a block to Walgreens. It's also close to bus routes.

Very good value. Staff friendly. Lots to offer. Assisted living services are charges are ala carte if you need them. Clean. Could use more elevators though. Long waits during meal times. Very pleased with the move for my parents.

Wonderful facility, all the services needed, will return to see available rooms again.

Nicest rooms we have seen. Great services. Would not hesitate to choose this facility for my elderly aunt.

In August 2012 my parents moved to the Assisted Living area of Waterford Estates. My Mom was Ill and in October 2012 she passed away. My Dad continues to live at Wateroford. The time my Mom was there her care was superb. As sick as she was they were there for her. My Dad has had 5 strokes, is legally blind and cannot comprehend. Waterford has taken him under their wing and care for him. They treat him like they would want their parents treated. The staff is sweet, caring, and it is obvious that the staff wants to be there to help. I feel blessed that I found Waterford. To have my Dad (he is 88) being well cared for is a huge load off of us. He is well cared for, nicely fed, his place and laundry is always kept very well, the staff is well in touch with his needs. He gets all of his meds, there are nurses, doctors, physical therapists, hospice ect all within the building. There are many activities to participate in. My Dad cannot participate but he can play gin. One of the CNA's learned how to play and spends any of her free time playing cards with my Dad. Thank you Annie !!! The place is very clean and so are the residents. What more could I ask for. I have to thank A place for Mom in helping in finding this wonderful place. Any they also take the VA Disability Pension. A dream come true for myself and my siblings. Thank you Waterford for keeping my Dad safe.

Really liked the visit, prefer the 1 bedroom over the studio but have not had a chance to visit other locations.

Very nice-lots of room and places to go. Swimming pool. Rooftop garden. Food good.

We chose Waterford Estates because of the price as well as the questions above like cleanliness of the facility, friendly staff, and location. The apartment sizes here are fair for what is needed. I would absolutely recommend to others looking

Waterford did a great job keeping people protected. My dad was taken care of great while we were not able to visit with him. You have to be proactive and keep an eye on things just like any place. I would believe them when they tell you don't have to worry. They have followed through on everything they have told us they would do. The food is average.

My father lived at Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge for a little over 2-1/2 years. Throughout the changes there, the one friendly constant was [name removed] - Lifestyle Specialist. She has always gone above and beyond since the days when she and my dad were both located at Victory Centre of Park Forest Independent Building. She's the reason I was able to get my father moved into the building when he was refusing to sign the paperwork for me. She's also the reason I kept him there after the rest of management starting leaving. I appreciate everything she has done! Since the newest management staff, [name removed] - Executive Director, [names removed] - Business Office Manager, and [names removed] - Wellness Manager, there have been some serious improvements at this location. It is very visible that all of them truly care about the residents. Previously I was having some difficulties concerning my dad and they all pitched in to help me with him. I'm truly grateful to all of you. Thank you!

My first experience with Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge was with [name removed]; she greeted me and gave me an extensive tour of your facility for my Sister. I was extremely impressed with her kindness and professionalism she displayed. [name removed] was cordial, professional and patience, outlining daily activity's, and any questions or concerns I mentioned. I can finally sleep at night knowing that my sister is in the best of care with [name removed] and her colleagues. Whenever I contact [name removed], she always have detail answers, utilizing her experience and expertise. It is always a pleasing pleasure meeting with her. Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge is by far the best assistant living facility my sister has ever experienced.

I am more than happy with my life at the grand. Especially with the wonderful caregivers led by [Name removed] who is very kind and considerate and also smart! I want to especially mention [Name removed] executive director, who is always there for me. Also the caregivers are considerate and kind and always go the extra mile. I am so happy with Chef [Name removed], his meals are fantastic. And [Name removed] wears many hats and excels at them all .. I only have wonderful things to say about all of the staff, [Name removed]too does a great job at the front desk. It’s a wonderful atmosphere with beautiful surroundings and friendly residents.

My mother [Name removed] Has been living at the Grand for 10 months. All her needs are taken care of by a wonderful caregiving staff led by [Name removed]. [Name removed]is kind, understanding and always ready to help. [Name removed] is always there when my mother needs her also. All of the staff go above and beyond in helping my mother and she loves them! My mother also enjoys the beautiful and calm surroundings, the wonderful dining room, the amazing chef and has met many good friends. She has been very happy here!
