The facility is nice and convenient, overall. The residents and caretakers are pleasant and helpful. Management and meals/dining services needs improvement. Most days, the quality of the food is extremely questionable. My aunt has received half cooked and sometimes unrecognizable meats and grains. The management seems to be out of touch with the residents and their concerns. The Head of Nursing is difficult to reach and does not follow up on messages without multiple attempts or contacting the director. They over promise and under provide.

I would recommend this place as you can't find friendlier residents. Our current activity lady is friendly, helpful and innovative. First impression of The Grand was it's beautiful, has a pool for exercise, and my two room apartment is HUGE with a view of the park. The only drawback for ME is the food. Because the chef is held to a very, very tight food budget (cheap owners who don't seem to know groceries have skyrocketed the last year or two) and we are OFTEN out of food. I thank goodness I have the money, desire and ability to make my own meals often. Many ladies agree with me, but eat it anyway. And, of course, the men never complain. But then, most men eat anything you put in front of them. Bless them. Still I would recommend this place and thanks for asking.

Overall I am pleased with this facility. My mom is comfortable and is adapting well. The facility makes it easy for move-in and the staff was helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this facility

The facility is very clean, it is a newer building. Great staff. Everyone is nice and cordial. My only complaint is the Director of Nursing does not respond to emails or requests.

Cleanliness- some weeks housekeeping didn't come to the apt and I had to call. The other areas appeared clean. Quality of Care- The head nurse [name removed] was excellent. Other nursing staff were good, there is an evening nurse that wasn't so helpful. However, they did check on my elderly relative often. Last thought: Once any issue was brought to their attention, they did their best to respond expeditiously. Other residents living there stated they loved it there. That solidified my decision.

Victory Centre of Elk Grove recently took over from [community name removed] which was struggling - and things are really improving. My mom was a resident for over 5 years and recently passed. The incredible nursing staff and caregivers (particularly the new Director of Nursing, RN, and their staff) all took such great care of my mom, particularly near the end when she really needed them. They spent time with her and made her feel safe, comfortable, dignified, and loved. The nurses, caregivers, and receptionists are a 5 star team. The facility, food, and cleanliness are also really good (4 stars) which says a lot for a Medicaid facility. We always felt at home when visiting my mom. -- THANKS EVERYONE!

So far, we have had no problems. The staff appear to take there work seriously. I appreciate that. The Atmosphere is inviting. To this day, I have never past anyone along the way and did not exchange mutual greetings. At this point, my Sister seems to be adjusting to her new Community very well.

The director changed in early 2023 I believe. Most of my experience is prior to that change. I always liked Waterford Estates for the staff was friendly place was kept clean. The meals and dining deteriorated a bit over the time that I spent there. A lot of single dish casseroles even though the soups were done daily on a fresh basis. I think the meals in any senior facility have to consider feeding the entire population. I just did not prefer eating what they ate so I cooked for myself. I didn't take part in activities because I worked full time from my computer in my apartment. Like most senior facilities does not much activity in the evening or on the weekends but. But what was provided was adequate. The neighborhood that the facility is in is not really a safe neighborhood for an evening walk or a morning jog. That has nothing to do with the quality of the facility it's simply where it's located. So if you have a candidate who's looking for those things. This may not be the spot. I always thought the cost was reasonable and was able to negotiate. But now the personnel has changed and perhaps the policy. So you'll have to test that on your own. The last thing I'll say is that it's not very handicapped accessible in the available apartments so if you have wheelchair bound residence they might not find it too comfortable. When I lived there I was still able to move around on my scooter but transferring into the bathtubs was not very easy. They did not have handicapped accessible rolling showers. In summary I would say I like the facility and would consider them again if I needed to. But I would reevaluate what the current staff was before doing that. There is always room for improvement if they're listening to the residents

My loved one is currently a resident at Waterford Estates Senior Living. The staffing has improved on the Memory Care side. A new nurse has been selected. Communication with the family is getting much better because of her. It is a difficult area for the aides to work in. Assisted Living is very good. I would recommend Waterford Estates Senior Living to others.

The place is nice, but not as nice as it was initially. However, I would recommend.

There have been a few things that needed to be addressed, but The Grand Regency is receptive and responsive to concerns. I believe there's an adjustment period with any long term facility, where they need to learn the specific needs of the resident. The old saying, "The squeaky wheel gets the grease" is very accurate here, because if you don't bring issues to their attention, they don't know there's a problem.

Overall, The Grand at Twin Lakes is a nice place. Apartment sizes and amenities offered are good. I would recommend it to others looking for independent living. I would tell others that many times, menu choices change at the last minute.

That my mom loves being there. Gives her the freedom to do things with the other residents and my dad is being care for by the staff. They seem happy there.

I believe families should know that they will need to be present and helpful to their loved one. If the person is not fully able of making their own sound decisions, and is not able to advocate for themselves, it might not be the place for them. They will need to be able to clean their own apartment and call if housekeeping doesn't come in as scheduled weekly. I think the nursing staff has some that care some that do not, and don't want to be bothered. I would recommend this facility only for a person whom is very mobile, not beginning to have any memory issues and is vocal about their needs.

My loved one is currently a resident at Victory Centre of River Woods and overall things have been good for him. I think he's in a good place, not great but good. I do recommend this facility to others.

The friendliness of the staff members can vary between a 3 and 5 overall rating depending on the staff member. Update carpeting and furniture and food is a good place to start with improvements. My mom was there during a rough period as the new management took over and many of the employees left. So we were there during a period of transition. Hopefully there are more permanent staff now and things have settled in better.

Based on the experience we have had so far with Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge, the employees were nice and very attentive and we like all the engagement activities they have going on for the residents there!

My loved one resides at Waterford Estates Senior Living and her experience at this facility has been good. As far as the staff goes, they are friendly and responsive. The housekeeping staff keeps the facility clean. The communication with the family is good. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My mother is happy there meeting people is great. I have had issues with her care. For instance I must call and call to ensure that the care needed is being done. I asked the [name removed] to tell the nurse to please get my mother a UTI test. It wasn't done until the following week. I had to call nurse and Dr. To get the test done. The Dr. Sucks big time.

My loved one is lactose intolerant. The Grand Regency requires me to purchase and deliver his lactose free milk. I think his dietary needs should be included in his monthly charge.
