Our Mother has been there for five years. Her Alzheimer’s has contributed the decline and requirement for more care. Both my husband and I have a medical background and believe she has received excellent care. Their staff have been there a long time and really care about their patients. We are grateful for them, we can rest easy at night knowing there are caring people for her when we cannot be there.

The personal are great. They took care of my mother and we never had any issues. She loved her stay there.

My mom stayed here for 10 days as respite care. It was a lovely place and the staff were really great. I know I can now take a break once in a while and that she will be well cared for. Thank you for helping me find this wonderful solution to my stressful situation.

Big rooms, small headcount. Very warm, inviting atmosphere. Aides are older ladies, seemed to be caring and loving. Noted that 2 residents have their small dogs living there with them!??

Good morning! My visit to Brookdale went well. I liked the apartment, it is small and personable, and the staff were friendly and positive. It is in a perfect location to the VA, being on Hamilton Wolfe. They will email me the activity schedule, especially those for veterans. Great visit!

I would recommend a visit. We where shown around by Executive Director [name removed]. She is fantastic. knowledgeable and caring. The building is clean, bright and welcoming.

Really great place. Residents seemed content, well cared for.

Looks can be deceiving. Go inside. This place is in the medical center with crazy traffic but they do have a nice patio garden in the center of the buildings. Very nice if you want a smaller community.

Everything has been going awesome so far with my mother being here. It was hard for me personally to put her in a home. However, knowing that she is doing well and adjusting has helped us in more ways than one. They take good care of her and she is gaining weight. The food that they are providing, we need to bottle this and sell it. It is just that good. Every day I will go visit her and accompany her at the dining area. She cleans her plate every time, have her dessert and she eats like a horse. Everything that I have observed seems very balanced and nutritious as well. The staff team is really great. There is one girl there that runs around tending to everyone. They are very caring and I’m happy with them. It can’t be easy doing what they do so I definitely commend them. They also provide activities for the residents to participate in. Almost every day there is some sort of activity. In this season they had ornament making. They also have activities that cater to the memory care residents and they have great entertainment. My mother loves the music and she frequently tries to get up out of her wheelchair to start dancing. I definitely recommend this community to others. It is a facility that strictly deals Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and memory care.

I really loved the facility, it was a really great place. My mom was there for only about 10 days but she was very happy while she was there. The staff was easy to communicate with, they took really good care of her, and overall they just seemed to love her. The food was spectacular. When I visited, they served us chicken cordon bleu and it was amazing. Everything else they’ve served looked great, too. Housekeeping was scheduled to come by once a day and they really kept her room clean. They had a few different types of activities for everyone to participate in like chair exercises, games, things like that. I would definitely recommend them for others.

I had to move my mom somewhere she would get the care she needs. The staff here are real friendly and I feel more at ease and safe with her here. It stays clean in here. The dining room is nice and the food is good. The grounds are fenced in and kept up nicely. I feel like I am getting my money's worth. I would recommend this community.

My first impression was great. [Removed] at the front desk greeted me and was very nice. [Removed] the Marketing person showed me around and answered all of my questions. As we walked around I noticed how all the residents were interacting with one another and having a great time visiting with each other and the staff. I also met with [Removed] the Director of the facility which also answered more questions and spent time with me which I really appreciated. I can't say enough good things about this facility, the staff, residents and everyone I come in contact with there are so friendly and helpful. My mom loves it and has already met new friends and stays busy with all the activities offered.

My mom is absolutely loving her new living environment and has no complaints since she made the move. Its a great social environment for her and the residents have been so welcoming. She is participating in activities almost everyday and is staying busy which Is the most impressive thing to me. I have had a peace of mind since she moved in and would recommend this place to anyone.

The staff at Brookdale Shadowlake was was helpful and informative. I liked our tour but we felt that the overall atmosphere wasn't a good fit for my loved one.

My mother is going through her adjustment period, but she is doing very well. She has joined in activities such as exercise programs, bingo, and she goes to church with them. The staff is very nice and sweet to the residents. They seem to be aware and when I ask questions, they always know what is going on. I would recommend this Brookdale because I am happy with the way things are going.

My father experience here at this community was a good one, but unfortunately he is going to need more care than they are able to provide. Overall it is a nice community. The staff is kind, and caring. This is a community I would recommend to my family, and friends.

It is going perfect for both of my parents. The staff, meals, the care, and everything has been a great experience. My mom had a flu and the staff gave her great care. They keep the community clean and maintain my parent's room. The have been participating in a lot of activities. I would recommend this community to my family and friends.

The community we toured was nice, I didn't see anything that was in any way bad. I was looking for a community specifically for Memory Care. Since this was not it, I ruled it out immediately.

The Brookdale Hamilton Wolfe was a very nice place. Everyone was very friendly to us. What we didn't like was the fact that we had to pay for 3 meals a day. My mother doesn't eat that much and we wanted a place with the option to opt out of it. Also, the room they showed us that would be my mothers was way too far from the dining room.

I am 99% sure this is where Mom will be living. I always said I would not move her into a place that the services were a la carte, but I really like what they offer so I am willing to give it a try. If the fees add up to quickly I will be very disappointed but the things covered really impressed me. [Removed] was wonderful!
