The Team is very friendly and seem to genuinely care about the residents. My friend hasn't been there long so but so far she seems to be settling in just fine. I love the atrium with the birds, the activity director is friendly and engaging as is all the staff I have has the opportunity to encounter. Food is average as I have found in most facilities and the options limited. I would not categorize pre-packaged food as "Chef prepared" as presented.

Our dad has been at Brookdale San Marcos South for a couple of months and while not everything is perfect or has been exactly as promised, the staff and management and caretakers try really hard to resolve any issues that have come up. There have been water line issues that caused the dining room to have limited dining options. There was a recent Flu outbreak that caused the facility to have a version of a lockdown and extreme disinfection. The building could use some repairs. However, the staff seems to remain dedicated to caring for the residents and resolving issues very quickly. I feel Dad is in a safe place.

What we like the most about this community are the staff, the food and the location. Yes, we would recommend Brookdale San Marcos South to other families based on the experience we have had.

Brookdale ShadowLake is a wonderful choice for loved one. Offers a homey feeling with 2 story houses for the residents into 4 for assisted living and one for memory care. You get to select which care you would like which is quite different from other locations. This facility is wonderful as long as advocate for them and ensure the care you care signed up for is what provided

Building is old, which affects cleanliness as far as carpet is concerned. But they are painting and reflooring and refurbishing. This will help. Every member of the staff is courteous and friendly as well as being capable and willing to help in any situation. I have never had a problem with care. Of course, I treat them with respect and consideration in return.

I like it that everyone is so nice to my dog [name removed]. The nurse takes such good care of me. I'm liking BINGO. The food gets a little boring.

I have to say my aunt sounds much happier here. I will check in after 3 more months but good vibes so far. It’s located in a convenient location. The care she is receiving stays in communication with my aunt and myself as well.

The place was clean, but apartment had small roaches throughout. Very little variety for food - did not like the food. The staff there is awesome! They had a huge turnover of staff right before we left. Got a new director who seemed really engaged. They were doing some upgrades, new carpet throughout, was a nice lookin facility. They were only at about 50% capacity the entire time we were there so it seemed rather quiet.

It is a Great place and my loved one is very happy. I would recommend to others.

I like most of the things about our community. My favorite things are crafts and games. I feel safe and well cared for.

I did what I could most of the time I was the only one that came for that activity.

What we like the most about the Brookdale Hamilton community is that they always have activities for the residents to participate in and the staff is very cheery. We would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

I would say that the atmosphere is welcoming and the court yard is wonderful. It's pet friendly and the rooms are spacious. They could improve by making it to where the person doesn't have to pay extra to eat in their room if they'd like.

The Activities could be better than what they are now. Very few people attend. I feel that the staff is short on help. Sometimes the classes are instructed by some of the residents. The food is good and mom likes it. The facility is clean, it's just that the hallways have water stains that come from the individual rooms. The stair carpets should be replaced. The air conditioner does not always work properly. I do understand that this is an old facility but some of the "higher ups" should look into fixing these building issues. The people and staff are very kind and helpful to mom. I appreciate this very much. Bottom line is the staff is great, the food is good, the place is clean. However, the place needs to replace hall carpets, some shower stalls and get professional maintenance for air conditioners and hire more staff. The people that work there do an excellent job but they can't be everywhere at the same time.

It is now named Gemstone and I would give it a 4+ for those wanting a smaller home environment for residents that have limited mobility. If one needs space to walk there is limited room for this. My husband died a year ago shortly after he moved in. I have recommended this place to several neighbors and one is currently living there.

I would definitely recommend Brookdale Creekside. The staff has been so patient and kind with the many issues my mom had. They always communicate any questions or concerns they have. I feel like we are part of a family-like community where they really care about my mom.

My dad is a patient and is very comfortable there. We love the staff and have a great relationship with staff and med techs.

If you have a loved one who has problems with dementia this is the place that you can trust your loved will be well taken care of with the respect they deserve. The staff is very caring. The activities are good. The only problem I had was transportation to doctors and outings due to the van in the shop.

Very friendly welcoming staff, availability of double room ultimately caused this selection. I would recommend with conditions. My loved one has been forgotten in her wheelchair three times and response time for assistance is too long.

We picked this community because of the warmth of the residents and staff. I would recommend to others.
