My 93 year old mom has been living here for over 6 years. She has had surgery and illnesses during this time, with follow-up rehab care in other facilities, but she always worked hard in her recovery so she could get back "home" to Heritage Woods. She has developed friendships that uplift her and has been involved with many activities that are offered. The office staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help us. The wonderful nurses and most CNA's work hard to understand and support her changing needs. Mom wasn't able to go out for Mother's Day this year, but Heritage Woods reserved the intimate private dining room off the main dining room for us so that we could bring brunch to her and celebrate for a couple of hours. They provided and set up everything we needed ahead of time (all dinnerware and beverages) and made sure all was well. It was, indeed! My mom says she is comfortable, feels respected, and that she is treated in a kind, dignified manner. I am so grateful she is living at this particular facility. It is a blessing.

They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped with trying to make the transition go easier. They welcome tourers and let us view the room. They offered us a meal. They also gave us a list of things that you can bring to make transition easier. The biggest thing they helped us with was the nursing. There was about 5 different activities but my loved one wasn't able to participate in them at that moment.

I liked this property a lot. But my Mom would want something more "fancy."

It was really nice, but it was mostly all studios, not very many one bedrooms. It felt more like a nursing home. It seemed like there was a lot of things to do such as activities and games. I went at lunch time and the food looked and smelled good but I did not have the time to try the food.

I think they're doing a lot of things well at West Park Place, we're pleased with how things have gone so far. It is taking my loved one a bit of time to get used to things, but I think the daily schedule of medicine, exercise, and meals all at specific times has really helped her out. They always have a good selection of choices for the meals, and the food itself seems to be pretty good!

Everybody has been really nice and very friendly, and the atmosphere is very nice, warm, and welcoming. One area where I do feel they need to improve is to have better follow-up and communication family. I would like to be kept more in the loop on how mom is doing rather than just contacted when there is a major issue. This is not a huge deal (it's not detrimental, just annoying), but an area for improvement. Overall, great place, great people, great experience!

They've got the friendliest people here! They really go out of their way to make sure the people that live here are happy and well taken care of. It is a very nice place, overall.

Very nice building, seems to be well maintained. Studio apartments are small but serviceable. Small shelf for resident decorations outside doors is a nice touch.

Very nice, buy they did not feel their memory care facility could handle Mom's care.

This place was wonderful. Was close to my home. The staff there is very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone.

My mother picked west park place after a few tours, and she felt the most comfortable there. It was in the same neighborhood as where she lived and she even had a few friends in there already. The staff is wonderful, even if the food could be better.

They are very friendly and helpful, and very attentive to needs. The one area I would give them to improve on is the level of communication. Example: They were going to start up his meds, and they had a hard time relaying insurance information from one person to the other. He is definitely happy there, and overall we are very well pleased.

They are doing a pretty good job. We are happy with them. It's kept very clean, and the staff is friendly. It's a pretty good value, so far. They are very good about being responsive and attentive if there are concerns or questions. They have a pretty good list of activities, and the food is good too, I would give that a five as well. I can't really think of anything I would like to see improved or done better.

Again, more services than I need and another apartment in middle of shopping center. No privacy, not at all quiet.

My husband has Alzheimer's and when I began looking The Fountains was the only place that offered Adult Day Care in a secure facility. Actually they had not started the Day Care program but soon after I asked I got a call saying they were starting. Why other long term care facilities do not offer Adult Day Care is difficult to understand. I would imagine most people that would take advantage of the Adult Day Care option would eventually become full time residents. When I drop him off I the morning I know that he is safe and that he will be offered a meal and will be cared for during the time he is there. I can get shopping done, get my Dr. visits done and once in a while get my hair done. When I pick him up in the afternoon he is relaxed and I am as well. Any good relationship needs space and it is even more true when one is a caregiver and one is the recipient of the care. There are other places that offer Adult Day Care but he is used to the staff and they know him and that is just as important as cost. With the help of the staff and the staff at Journey Care Hospice I intend to keep my husband at home but if I can't I am comfortable knowing that he will be well cared for if he needs to become a full time resident.

We've had a good experience with Heritage Woods overall! The move-in process was very smooth and they did a great job helping her get settled in and acclimated to the community. They've also been very flexible and accommodating regarding any requests or questions that we have had. Really the only thing that has been less than optimal is that their billing system isn't as streamlined as it could be, and we've had a few hitches getting things set up.

This is a new place that seems to be well organized. Staff are all pleasant and helpful. My mom settled in and made some friends. We were very happy about that. All of the residents are eager to help each other and that makes for a nice community atmosphere.

I'm very happy with them. From what I've seen posted on the calendar, they have good activities. The food seems to be really good, and my loved one likes it. We liked the location, and it worked well for us. So far we haven't had any complaints, or things that need to be improved. There haven't been any problem with the laundry. Everything is working out well, so far.

Keepsake is a nice facility. They do their best to accomodate every person there with all of their strengths and weaknesses. They do genuinely care about doing what is right for each resident. We are very glad that we decided on this facilty. Great, caring staff. The food program needs some work.
