Mom has a really nice apartment that's very comfortable for her. She's not a real sociable person but she does have friends there.

We lived 9 months at Carriage Crossing. Moved back to our condo in [date removed]. Increasing rates made the difference. We enjoyed living there. Made good friends. Would recommend to others. The food needed improvement but they have a new chef now. I think the activity director is outstanding.

My loved one is currently a resident at Cambridge House of O'Fallon and overall the experience has been good for her. The meals, nursing staff and nutrition need improvement. However, I recommend the facility to others for caring and supporting. The accounting and business office is good, too.

When it comes to the cleanliness I've recently had to reach out regarding the level of cleanliness and regularity of the cleaning of my mom's unit. They responded quickly to my email with concern and I will check to see if my mom's apartment has been cleaned when I see her this weekend. For the value for cost, the costs have recently been raised due to inflation which I know they cannot control.

The apartments are roomy and lots of space in the facility. Opportunities for activities however the doors lock too early and it's hard to get someone to let you in after 4:30 or earlier PM. Spacious facility.

This community made a lot of promises at the initial meeting and signing of the lease agreement. The entire administrative staff that signed me up left within a month of my mom moving in. The nursing staff that admitted my mom, left within two weeks of her arrival. We have had many issues with medications being given late or even dispensed as prescribed. Luckily, my mom does not have life-threatening medications, but this has been incredibly stressful. They stated that cleaning services were included; however, these services include staff that use the same dirty mop water in each resident's room without changing the water between cleaning - this has been reported to the management but not changed. The unsanitary measures mean my mom's apartment is being mopped with potentially contaminated water. We have had to hire an outside cleaner to come in to ensure my mom's room is clean. This cleaner is not the only person I have observed coming into the community. Heritage claimed the food was top-notch, that freshly prepared meals with a nice variety would be available with a standard menu for consistent items, and that fresh fruit would be available. That has not been true; the food could be better in most cases, with many dishes being too spicy for many to eat. My mom and other residents have to supplement their meals with continuous groceries. This is an added cost and disappointing since the food was to be an included cost in the rent. Unfortunately, the meals are getting worse. I would not recommend this facility to a family that had serious nutrition issues for their loved one - unless they are willing to constantly shop and take food to their family member. For example, yesterday, a resident was told that two pieces of toast and a cold (unmelted) piece of cheese was Heritage Wood's version of a Toasted Cheese Sandwich. The resident asked if the sandwich could be grilled, and the cook said they would add their complaints to the list. The residents met to address the food and were told that the "corporate people" would fire the cooks if they deviated from the poor quality food being served. In the last 6 months, the community has had 4 cooks and is currently getting a new cook. The facility has an excellent maintenance staff and an outstanding response to any issue with the apartment.

They staff at Cambridge House of Swansea have been very patient with my mother's transition. I would recommend the facility to those looking for assisted living.

A place for mom and keepsake has made looking for a good place for my loved one much less stressful. Keepsake is really nice. It's small, hands on, and mostly communicative. I have zero experience with looking for a good and safe place for someone else to live, so I really can't compare my experience to anything else. I like the staff to patient ratio and I like that the staff know me and who my mom is. I like that they keep their residents engaged and clean.

The team at Keepsake Village have helped make mom’s transition to memory care go very smoothly. Everyone from the admissions person, activities director, nurses, aids and even the maintenance man have done a great job. Obviously we have had a few bumps along the way but are working through them. Please take time to go see them for a visit when looking for a place for your loved one.

The place is new. With being so new it brings some disadvantages, primarily the food quality. The good news is they are very open to listening and working on improving things.

The kitchen/wait staff is wonderful, very atentive, friendly and willing to serve. The lunch was very good, cooked perfectly. Although I was expecting a buffet, it was perfectly understandable why the switch was to be placed.

Great value. Nice and clean conditions and warm friendly staff. We’re glad we found it for our father . He is settling in well. The home is very responsive when we have questions. They genuinely care for the residents and encourage participation in events without pressure.

My mom and the head CNA [name removed] have made a great relationship. I have built a good relationship with the head of marketing, [name removed]. She is great at getting back to me through text. They use an app called Family App which keeps family members informed on what activities our loved ones participate in.

After hearing good reviews and taking a tour, we moved my mom into Heritage Woods in August 2023. I go to visit often and honestly can say each time I am there I am continually impressed with their facility. Residents and staff are friendly, caring and welcoming. There are 3 nutritious meals a day, housecleaning, laundry services and plenty of activities planned to promote community and getting to know each other. Most comforting is knowing there are CNAs there 24/7 so if my mom does need something they are there to help. They check on her often and I'm extremely grateful for them. Every time I go to Heritage Woods, I'm more convinced this is exactly the place my mom needs to be.

I live at the village. I like helping with activities some of my favorite activities are arts and crafts, bingo and going out for lunch. The staff make me feel needed and special. And they help me with different things throughout the day. My favorite moment at the village so far has been helping to decorate the Christmas tree and singing songs with the carolers. They have good fruit and vegetables and give us good healthy food.

The staff is very friendly, patient, caring, and helpful. Housekeeping cleans rooms once a week and in response to an incident or request. Maintenance responds quickly to requests. The move in process went smoothly. The staff assists new residents with transitioning to their new community. I would recommend Gull Creek.

My grandmother had a pretty good experience overall, after a few days of becoming acclimated to the facility. The staff was very communicative with me throughout her stay, I always felt welcomed coming to visit my grandmother at different times of the day, and they even were willing to do her laundry while she was there so I didn't have bring her clothes back and forth! I selected the facility because it was close to my home, the facility was very clean/inviting and the staff was very warm and welcoming.

I would recommend. The staff was very nice and helpful. My mom thought it was homier than other places we looked at.

Everyone's really nice and sweet especially the residents. Safe if also very nice and caring. More or less food is good. Treats the residents with residents and kindness. Very lovely place.

Overall it is probably the best in Wood county. The reason I picked this facility is because it is close to my home.
