Overall we've had a very good experience with Heritage Woods! We had a bit of a rocky start due to some miscommunication with the caregivers, but they resolved things quickly and they have been great ever since. They're very quick to resolve any issues, or answer any questions that we've had. It's a nice clean facility, the staff are all very friendly,

Heritage Woods was such a blessing if a find! Answered all of my mother's needs with affordability. Bonus: no hidden up charges for medication dispensing or increases in needs.

Out of concern for our parents welfare, my brother and I decided it was time to consider an assisted living environment. This being our first time at this task we were unsure of where to start. We entered assisted living into the computer and A Place for Mom came up, after a few questions we were advised to check out Heritage Woods in Moline. We set an appointment and were impressed immediately with the professional assistance they offered us. The tour of the facility was absolutely wonderful and the employees and residents were so friendly! We knew this would be a place our parents could flourish ! Activities are offered along with social gatherings, which are vital in out parents daily lives. After residing at Heritage Woods for a few months now , our parents are settled in and very satisfied with their children's decision to move them into Heritage Woods of Moline.

It's good so far. I was very impressed with the people there very responsive, and cheerful. She complains a little about the variety of the food. They have a vegetable garden and it's bright with a lot of windows with some natural light.

It's a beautiful facility, a lot like Arden Court. A little more personal and it's not a four-beds-in-a-room kind of place.

I visited The Fountains in October and found the employees pleasant and helpful. The apartment I visited was clean.

My mom seems to like the activities. She just played bunco today and she was all happy. I do like the friendliness and openness of the staff there. They seem to know everybody by name and when you're visiting they recognize who you are and who you are there to see. My mom said the food is pretty good. Based on the cost, benefits, and the location, Heritage woods had the best value of all the places we saw. It was close to my mom's friends.

Heritage Woods is a very nice community and we love it. Our loved one needs memory care and because they had no opening yet they allowed us to move into assisted living until a memory care slot opens. They keep the community in immaculate condition. They offer a great value compared to the previous community our loved one was in. The activities director is just wonderful but they could use a little more activities. I think one reason they don't have as many activities is because more people are independent and some even have their own car. We are paying around $3,700 a month. We really love Heritage Woods and are pleased with what they are doing.

They could encourage the residents to participate in the activities a little more instead of just giving up. It is a very nice community that is very well maintained. The staff is really friendly and they offered a great price. It seems like they could be a little more professional when it comes to the lease agreements, if any changes occur it should be reprinted with the proper corrections.

At the time we were there there was turn-over in care staff and staff supervision which clouded assessment.

They have responded to every inquire that was made about different things. They seem to want to make things right. Very friendly

The family included activities were a great way for mom to engage with the community. I would recommend to others.

I know that my father enjoyed the company of former acquaintances during his meals. Being among the very few males, he was paired with a pretty grumpy guy though, so with the choice to move, he'd probably have sat with other people at meals. My Dad was pretty stubborn about playing his preferred TV station during meals and the others had to unite and rise up against him on that. Good on them. The basic meds and daily checkups were adequate, but any issues such as him repeated vomiting on his dinner plate or falling asleep walking back to his room, or when he fell - the nurses kind of acted as if that sort of thing was outside their realm of concern. The vomiting on his dinner plate was the trigger that led me to the doctor - and a cancer diagnosis. SO -- I would expect more attention and notification to the family with that sort of worrisome behavior.

So far so good my parents are happy. So far 5 months. I would recommend to others.

I love the activities director. She is great at having fun things for the residents to do and getting them involved. She definitely goes above and beyond and you can tell she loves what she does. I love their new app. I can login and message the facility and someone will message me back. I can also view all the activities my Aunt has participated in. They have sent me pictures of her through the app as well. There was 1 staff member I didn't like the way she was sarcastic with a resident while I was there but unfortunately with any business you will have those types of employees. Overall I feel the majority of the staff really care and do a good job. I do wish I was more informed when it comes to her care. I had to tell them I was concerned about swelling in her legs and I had to keep reaching out to make sure something was getting done about it. They are good about getting her to all her appointments and medical procedures. Clothing always gets washed but doesn't normally return to the correct person even when I write her name in it. This facility is by far cheaper than the majority. The pros definitely out way the few cons I have.

Whether temporary or permanent, this facility has everything you might need. Comparable to a luxury hotel including 2 beautiful Grandfather Clocks! [name removed] was a wonderful tour guide. We are opting for a property that is a bit closer to Indy for this respite stay.

I would give them a 4 overall. My grandma has really adjusted, and they've done a great job of getting her on a good medicine regimen. When she arrived, she was really disoriented and combative, and she's not anymore. The place is also very clean and they have a lot of fun activities that the residents do The area they could use some improvement in is communication. I've called them at times and haven't gotten a call back even when I was told they would. I've eaten there a couple of times, and the food is kind of bland, so that's something they could improve on too.

Very clean and very helpful most times. Their food service needs help. Cold or not cooked thoroughly. Don't have diet specific meals available. Most aides are helpful, but some apparently don't know what they are doing or do not come when called. Mom is being moved to a nursing facility for more help, so we are leaving Heritage Woods.

It's better than she was living before.... [name removed] is great!! Reflections has been a great choice for my mother-in-law. Close to town but not in it. Built in community. She feels safe and is enjoying it.

The personnel are very helpful. Facility is clean. Apartments are nice. Food is good and a large variety to choose from. Residents are friendly.
