The HomePlace Special Care was a very nice community. When we toured it, we felt that it was very comparable to the community that we chose, so it came down to location. The lady that we met with, [Removed], was very friendly and helpful.

MY mom moved in 3 months ago and everyone is great. They have new management and it is getting better and better

So far everything is working pretty well for my mother since her move to this community. She is doing very well, and i'am pleased with her move to this community. They have a great staff, and I know she is being cared for well here. Also they have been very friendly, and helpful. It is a well kept community, everything is very neat and tidy. I'am very comfortable with the care she is receiving. She is safe and in a good place. I would highly recommend this community.

People were very helpful throughout the move in process. Staff seems very caring & concerned. They are flexible about schedules & accommodate themselves to my loved one's wants, needs, and behaviors. Amenities are pleasant & there are activities geared to my loved one's level of engagement.

Couldn't be happier with the facility

The nursing care that my loved one has been receiving has been wonderful. I cant say enough good things about the staff, they are always smiling and have been very welcoming to my mother. The chef does a great job at making sure that the food is fresh and has healthy options for the residents. Overall I am very pleased with this community.

My father in law is very happy here at this community. Excellent staff members that are outstanding. He is very happy with all the meals and the variety . Alot of activities for him to participate in. Very clean community inside and out. Highly recommended to others for great care.

I visited this community recently to tour on a whim, i was greeted by a kind woman at the front desk named Kayla who was quite knowledgeable about senior housing, she ended up showing me around the community and WOW! what a place! They seem to stress the importance of activities here, there is a large board at the entrance of each side that lists the events of the day, the care givers were out and interacting with the residents and what I loved most was how they all had a smile on their face. I worked for many years at a public relations firm, and let me tell you something, a smile can go a long way! My wife is and has always been an avid gardener, things have gotten a little more difficult for her in terms of bending down to tend a garden, at this place there was a raised planter box on each end of the building and the residents are the ones in charge of deciding what goes into each bed! My wife would love that! The rooms are fairly small, semi-private shared studios, the small size would be great for my wife, she gets anxious in large rooms. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, and they offer stand by to full assistance for the residents they care for. I still have a couple places to look, my wife is still successful at home with me, but when the time does come, Monterey Court is a front-runner.

I'm extremely pleased with Heartis of Longview. Everyone is professional and seem to genuinely care about the people for whom they care. Highly recommend these wonderful folks.

We placed our loved one in Catalina Springs on the day they opened their facility. We are extremely happy with the beautiful surroundings, excellent cuisine and activities too numerous to mention. Staffing is always difficult when opening a new business and they've had some changes. We thank management for being persistent in locating the best of the best when hand selecting their core staff. We are comforted in knowing our mom is not only well cared for but loved by their employees in our absence. I completely disagree with the negative comments listed below and believe they were written with malice and not factual at all. My Dad has adjusted very well to the move and really likes being at Monterey Court and the rest of the residents seem to really enjoy being there as well. As far as the cleanliness of the community I think that there can be some improvements but other than that it really is a very nice place. Dad tolerates the food but says it could use some seasoning. The staff are all very nice and welcoming and give the place a warm feeling. Amy, the director, is amazing and the staff really seem to respect her which makes for an awesome environment.

The staff here is so friendly and professional and the level of care that they provide here is excellent. This is a very well maintained and clean facility. It is a blessing.

Just the thought of moving my Mom into assisted living was extremely stressful for me. Thank goodness for Ashley Glen !!! First: The management team explained what was going to happen, how it was going to happen, when it was going to happen and why it was going to happen...and then it all happened exactly like they said!!!! Second: My 96 year old Mom was admitted about a month ago and was not looking or feeling well. In a month she is out of the wheelchair, has completed physical therapy and is walking!!!! Third: Ashley Glen provides a wonderful environment for residences to flourish. ALL the caregivers and staff are friendly and patient. The facility is spotless and the residents are clean and comfortable. Fourth: Ashley Glen is a great value. Rates are very reasonable for all services provided. You are not nickeled and dimed as in some other facilities. But the most important thing Ashley Glen provides is Peace of Mind. My Mom loves it there and is happy...what else is there?

It was great. I didn't have any complaints. It was a little inconvenient that they had construction going on while we were there, but overall it was a nice place with no major concerns.

This is the first time my parent has been in an assisted living place. I am happy with the care the employees give.

They have really gone above and beyond to help us figure out what we need to do with our aunt. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Comparing it to my last experience at another place, I do notice that they sometimes are not as available as much at the front desk. But overall everything with Pelican Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Care has really been great and I would highly recommend them.

Very happy with Coventry. Placed my 94 year old mother approximately 6 weeks ago and she is having a ball! The care is excellent and the programs offered are very well planned and accommodating. The family does not have to worry anymore about her meals, her welfare, or her happiness.

I apologize for taking so long to get this up on their website, as I am sure that there are plenty of you in my same situation. Approximately, one month ago, my 80-year-old mom’s neurologist told me that she could no longer live by herself and that she needed to go to assisted living ASAP. As I am sure you can relate, it was very devastating for me to hear this news. After checking various AL facilities and realizing that none of them felt right, I Google’d “Assisted Living in Atascocita” and got an immediate response from Arbor Terrace. The lady that I spoke with Stacey Arceneaux went above and beyond what was expected of her. I could email her questions and did and she would respond immediately. It was really strange because I had never seen the place nor met her in person, but I knew this was where mom was going to call “home.” This all happened on a Wednesday. On Friday, I took mom there to visit and she immediately fell in love with not only the place, but all of the people and all the staff and to me that is PRICELESS. So, if you find yourself where I was, please give them a chance. Once you get over the initial shock of the size of the room, and you realize that they feed them 3 times a day plus snacks if they’re hungry, you’ll realize the little room is all they need. You will be utterly amazed at how caring and responsive they are to our parents and they do so many wonderful activities throughout the day. Mom will be there 2 weeks this Friday and I have visited unexpected, I have eaten with them unexpected and I talk to her daily and it doesn’t matter morning/noon/night, you get the same response at anytime. Every single time we talk on the phone, she tells me over and over again how thankful she is that I found this place for her and her dog Jax. Said she has never been happier. When I was there visiting the people were great and friendly. They took the time to show us around. My mother has only been there a short period of time, but it seems to be working out fine. However, I recently was informed by my mother that their alarm system (to call for assistance) has been turned off and mother sat for an hour in soiled linens until someone came. This was very upsetting.
