They ended up declining admission of my dad, after initially accepting him and accepting payment. My dad is admittedly a hard case. They did give a full refund of what we paid, so that was honorable. The facility is nice and the people are nice, no issues with any of that. If anything, I'd say they need better screening up front, perhaps a little less optimistic, to avoid backing out after things are already rolling (e.g. payments made, furnishings moved in, alternative locations notified that a choice was made, etc ).

The people that helped us on our tour of Callaway Gardens were nice and knowledgable. The community seemed clean and this was our second choice. The main difference between this and the one we chose is we were so impressed with the manager at the other community.

I loved what I saw within this community. Everything seemed to be pretty awesome too. Based on my dad's budget this was not a fit to his budget.

My tour went well of the facility. Everything was nice and well maintained. The staff was very pleasant and informative. They answered all my questions. This is more of an assisted living community. My mother doesn't require much care. It is a nice community for someone if it fits their needs.

My father is doing very well at here this community. They are caring for him and his needs very well. I'am satisfied with everything they have done for us. It has been a pleasant experience. It is a nice facility with kind people.

My dad is living at this community and It is clean and well kept. The staff treat my dad well and I can only say good things. The meals could be better with more options and at times more portion size. I have found that they do not have a lot of activities. Overall most the concerns may be linked with the new wing not being available and I hope things will improve once my dad is moved into a new room.

Everything went very well for my mother at this community. She will be returning home soon, but her time here was great. The community is very nice looking and everything is very clean. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. They do offer nice activities through out the week. The food was excellent, she really enjoyed the meals. They have been extremely helpful and I would recommend it.

I have lived here for a year and a half. I was in a dreadful situation before and the staff here rescued me from it. I love living here because of the managements ability to resolve problems and how they make a person feel about the results. I ride a scooter, and the location is ideal because I can get to practically any shopping need and there is some very beautiful scenery. I am very happy with the upgrades they have made to the community too.

I recently moved my father to Wentwork. He very much enjoys the food and the staff. There was no orientation or check in procedure for new residents. I had to ask questions to figure everything out. No introduction to the staff without seeking it out. Once the sales representative closes the deal you never see her again which is fine as long as there was an introduction to the facility and staff. There is no check in and check out procedure so anyone can walk in and out both visitors and residents without anyone knowing. That is my main concern now since anyone can come and take my Dad out without anyone asking questions. After 5pm there is no one at the desk and even when someone is there no questions are asked. If security and orientation concerns are dealt with I think it could be a great place.

I wish that there was a way for the residents to ask for help. There is no method of communication. If the resident is in their room and needs assistance, there is no way to contact anyone. They are totally dependent on someone happening to come by and check on them, and that is quite a problem I think.

They have some very compassionate staff, but I would recommend that they increase the staffing. Overall it is pretty good. I would recommend this place to others.

Facility is excellent, Staff is friendly & eager to satisfy both resident & family members. Activities are tremendously beneficial again for both the resident & for the emotional strain of family. Activities are advertised & completed for the enjoyment of residents. All types of activities are available for all physical levels of enjoyment. Employees take on all types of needs within the center. Inefficiences are identified & quickly resolved for resident & then presented to Family. All residents are known on a first name basis & this is your home is a reoccuring theme.

Overall we have had a very positive experience with The Wentworth of Las Vegas . Mom has not complained about anything and I know she would if there were any issues, so things seem to be going very well.

Caregivers really are kind and caring. Director, Activities, Marketing are friendly enough. Beautiful place, with very nice decor. Has been lacking cleanliness that last couple months. Our loved one has been there about 7 months and since then there has been a change of Director. The poor Nurses and caregivers are so overworked in all of these facilities. It must be at near crisis point trying to find staff. The caregivers are woefully underpaid - undervalued. That's thanks to the Corporations and their Board of Directors greed more than anything. Back to the facility - they offer a good array of activities and are good about getting the residents to join in. The group here is more active than many we saw at other secure Alzheimer's care facilities. This suits our very active loved one well. Key word being 'secure'. Many in need of the secure places are not as active. It was important to us to have other residents in a similar condition. Our loved one enjoys the food and even the cooks are very friendly.

I toured here as I was looking into options. I thought that they were very helpful and informative. I feel like I learned a lot.

We don't have any concerns, they are doing a good job. They are clean, and the staff is friendly. They are doing exactly what they said that they would. We are satisfied.

The people at Washington Gardens Memory Care Community were very accommodating. Any time there was a problem they made sure to correct it. One area where I do think they could improve would be a little better communication between the staff and management.

Everything at the Wentworth of Las Vegas is great. Just a little difficult to communicate due to language barrier. In terms of Cleanliness, I think the general areas were kept clean and spotless, but some of the rooms may need a little more attention. General public would not see that, but the patients who live there would.

My parent doesn't have to share a room. He's allowed to have a phone, which the other ones we looked at would'n't allow. Staff is great, willing to work with us on Dad's specific needs. The only thing that is difficult is, we came from one one one care for my Dad, to a place where a staff member has a number of residents to care for, so when we call for help for my Dad it can take some time. My Dad is supposed to be supervised when he gets up, and that doesn't always happen. He has a habit of wandering at night, and we're working on it. They had a hoedown that he didn't want to attend. Someone comes in once a week for exercise. The activities director seems to have been out. I haven't seen a lot of activities, and I'm there every weekend. The staff are pretty amazing as far as going out of their way if a resident is having trouble, they'll take the person by the hand. There are a lot of Alzheimer's patients, and I have found amazingly kind of patient. I also like the fact that nowhere does it smell like urine.
