Frontier Senior Living

The people are really nice and the facility is nice but our loved one needs a little extra care, which we are paying for, but not getting as well as needed. We don't want to move her because of the stress it would cause her to start all over again and we do understand they are short staffed which is causing these problems. In all honesty we think that it probably wouldn't be much better anywhere else. Everyone is short staffed and spread to thin. It's not a bad place, just not what we were led to believe when we interviewed them. They have not fulfilled what we were promised.

I did not see much interaaction , between the staff and residents. It did not seem as alive, as other places.

My loved one started off in independent living and transitioned into assisted living while staying at The Inn at Los Patios. Her time here was okay. They had activities, but they weren't as efficient as her new community. The staff were okay, they weren't fantastic...just okay. The meals were okay as well. She had a room by herself there, but they weren't as attentive as the new community.

Nice community, I was not crazy about the community being off a busy street. They wanted a signed one year contract.

The community has trouble with staffing as do most communities right now. The community is clean and the staff is friendly.

We think it is overpriced for the care they provide

Was not impressed with Landscape and facility.

I find the condition of the outside premises to be totally unacceptable I was told upon my first visit, that all my questions about the outside, would be resolved upon completion of roof replacement. That was a year ago this month. All sidewalks and outside area needs to be power washed. The bannisters are peeling paint and rotting wood. There are three empty apartments on the second floor. I love my apartment, just not the upkeep of premises.

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my loved one. We were hopeful for the community but it just didn’t feel right when we first walked in. The person that gave us the tour really seemed like they knew a lot about the facility but the residents didn’t seem like they were doing much. They looked like they were just sitting around and the staff seemed to be doing their own thing. The rooms looked fine and everything was laid out nicely, but it was generally the atmosphere that we didn’t like.

I feel that the care at Oak Hills Terrace is adequate but they need more skilled nursing staff to help the residents there. The staff does try to get my mom involved in the activities there and they do offer a resident doctor program along with at home care to help the residents. There is a shuttle that does take the residents to doctor appts, field trips and shopping for the ones that want to go. The meals are fixed for their diet and there are some other options as well. If need be I would recommend Oak Hills Terrace to my family and friends.

They are trying very hard to do what they can for my wife. She's having a hard time adjusting. However, I feel they could be proactive on feeding her and the meals could be better tasting. The staff call me with updates about how she is doing. It is clean from what I can tell but the furniture could be cleaned or replaced. I piked the community because they seemed more like a memory care.

When I have been in Autumn Leaves several times. I am not impressed on what I have seen. The people are sitting in a circle and looked drugged out placed in front of a t.v. Seems that there is no life in that facility and is DEPRESSING.

My mom is trying to get use to the community. Most of the residents are not that aware and she is not that bad. The staff are trying their best and the girls are nice to her. During the the week they have a lot of activities for the residents. The bathroom could be cleaner and they can improve on the cleanliness and be aware of the hygiene of the residents. I saw someone walking around with greasy hair.

I have a friend that goes here and I have seen the community. I have not gotten to talk to anyone around here, but the community is nice and seems like they have a lot of activities for the residents to participate in.

The caregivers there are excellent. The staff is very nice. I am not too thrilled with the office staff. She's been there for a month, my mother looks so much better since has been there. She seems happy and she has gained weight since she's been there.

Take a tour and talk to love ones of residents before you decide.

I'm disappointed in the way they are maintaining my father's medicine. They are suppose to call me ahead of time if they decide to make a change in his medicine routine. I would also like to see more activities for my father. I think communication could be better internally. The location of the Foundtainview Estates is good. The inside of the facility is nice and looks good. (Activities is not applicable)

Nice and clean, staff was very friendly, and I'm sure they are doing the best they can with the patients. For me it was depressing. Thank heavens my husband's memory is not that bad. My heart goes out to the patients and their families.

The location of Ashley Glen was very good. The facility had a good presences. Director was very helpful and gave me a great deal of information to think about. The rooms were small, and one had a strong urine odor. That bothers me because they are suppose to keep people and apartments clean. Though we like being in a community where you can use the Golf Carts, I felt more comfortable, in comparison, to Benton House.

More central but not near big medical complex (Baptist Hospital nearby). Own AC/heat control, own washer and dryer. Beautiful gardens. Trips to commissary! Rosary on Fridays, communion service on Sundays.
