Five Star Senior Living

The care team is spectacular, my mom has nothing but amazing things to say about Legacy Heights. The staff at Legacy Heights are friendly. We were reluctant about a studio at first but there isn’t a need for a larger space since my mom is engaged in activities and great entertainment throughout the week. I can honestly say she is never bored. The porch has been a big hit too, she finds the rocking chairs very relaxing.

Sales staff and support staff easily accessible and helpful. The facility is well maintained and the meals are great. The location is easily acceptable to grocery stores, medical facilities and shopping.

I’ve been a resident here for 7 years. It has a little of everything for every person. You can be as active as you’d like to be. All departments work together to provide a really good experience.

I would rank Five Star as five in all areas except "friendliness" and I would rank them far above a five. It is a great place to live.

Overall I'm not that familiar with everything. I live in a different state than my mom but every time I speak with her she seems to keep telling me how grateful she is and how much she enjoys her new home. I do think, though, that it would be nice if there was a more inclusive dietician on staff to assist with and help residents make good choices for a type 2 diabetic diet. And offer a larger variety of substitutions for foods that diabetics should avoid. My mom doesn't have a very good sense of what is good for her, and her willpower to avoid foods that are bad for her is very low. So, at times, I do worry that she doesn't eat like she should because there's food readily accessible to her that she can't refuse. But, that's really all on her, I know. Overall, we've we've had a very positive experience using your service to place my mom in her new home.

The staff is very responsive. They have excellent food plans. There are good choices for professional services. Activities planning appears to be well thought out. The buildings are well maintained.

Very knowledgeable and always friendly. Took care of any issues I might have had in a timely manner. Everyone was very supportive of the needs of the tenants. I would Highly recommend this facility.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with my decision to move to this senior living community. It has truly become my home, thanks to the exceptional services, caring staff, and welcoming atmosphere. If you're considering a move to a senior living community that values comfort, care, and community, I wholeheartedly recommend exploring what this place has to offer. It's a decision that has significantly enhanced my quality of life, and I'm grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.

It is very "homey". Everyone that works there seems to really want to help you. Apartments are very large. We toured quite a few facilities and these had open big layouts. And they all seemed to have a patio or outdoor area.

My Aunt is no longer at Five Star Residence at Clearwater. They were wonderful to my Aunt and a great staff. Unfortunately, she's had to move to a memory care facility, which is beyond Five Star's care level.

[Name removed] took my mother and I for a walk through of the community and did an amazing job. The community has a lot of energy and provides a space for seniors to continue living in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The facilities are very welcoming and open, when we arrived the community space was being used for an aerobics class. Access to the 2 apartment complexes couldn’t be easier and the multiple access points make any apartment easy to get to. They also provide shopping carts at each entrance for grocery shuttle. We toured 3 different apartment layouts, I believe there are 6 variations, lots to choose from. Overall, an incredibly welcoming space.

[Name removed] was very helpful discussing all aspects of the Palms. She took her time discussing details. Took a tour and reviewed a room and dining area on the 5th floor. [Name removed] reviewed the food menu and the many options available. We also viewed the dining area on the first floor. [Name removed] was very reassuring and made us feel at ease. She is very knowledgeable and personable.

I just moved in Saturday but so far everything is great.

I enjoy the activities. Pleasant personalities in office staff. Everything is available if you ask. Would love to have more pet activities.

Marvelous. Previously lived in another independent living community and this place beats it by far!

This was the greatest experience for my Mom. She passed in her sleep on [date removed] at her home there with a smile on her face. They loved and cared for her just as much as if she was their family. I will forever cherish the time she had there. The staff there are so helpful and kind. I'm so grateful that my Mom's last 10 months on earth were so wonderful! Such a blessing!

What our family likes the most about the community is that our loved ones room is steps away from the dining area and the court yard. The staff members seem competent and caring. and he just loves the staff and feels cared for.

The staff were very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and caring. They treated the patients with dignity ,respect and kindness. They were polite and patient with family members . I would use Morningview at Irving Park again for my mother's care.

My mom is currently a resident at Five Star Premier Residences of Pompano Beach. I would recommend them to others. It's exactly what we needed (sooner than when we moved her in, but isn't that usually the case?) I'm obviously a fan of the services and staff that we use and interact with at this facility. Mom's happy. And so are we.

Living at The Palms gives opportunity to meet new people, games to participate in, good food, great entertainment, transfer to medical facilities, and the chance to go out to eat at restaurants each month.
