Five Star Senior Living

The office and residential staff were very welcoming. The salesman we spoke with was named [name removed]. Unsure of last name. Tour was very informative. Premise was very clean. We were shown activities area, dining area, and apartments. 1 one bedroom. Very spacious and 1 studio which was the typical studio apartment size. The nurse took our assessment info for entry into TY he facility but because of potential closing did not move in.

We moved my 93 year old dad into Five Star Residences at Clearwater a few days ago. He left his small town where he has lived his entire life. We had a lot of questions and, of course, concerns about taking him away from his home. [names removed] listened to our worries and assured us things would be okay. With 3 daughters, son in laws and grandchildren helping with the move and obviously nervous, they went out of their way to explain and reassure everyone. Other staff stopped in to introduce themselves and welcome him. [name removed], the maintenance supervisor, went above and beyond to make sure TV’s and Wifi were set up, and everything was working correctly. [name removed], the receptionist, warmly welcomes us when we visit and shared that it’s fun to watch dad be so confident. That made us feel so good. Dad has enjoyed the food so far and is looking forward to participating in activities. So far we are very impressed with the warm welcome, ease of move in and welcoming atmosphere.

Clean, friendly staff, easy to navigate in the rooms if you are handicapped. Activities are daily planned, they have things like music, crafts, exercise etc. It is a nice variety.

Our Dear friend [name removed] has lived at Five Star Residences of Clearwater for about 2 years. She feels happy and safe inside the building, she had been living alone in her condo and the upkeep was just too much. One of the things she likes, is that if you have a day when are feeling alone or down, all you need to do is step outside your apartment and you are bound to find a neighbor or friend to talk with. She also enjoys the theatre after dinner, to watch movies with friends.

I moved in from a community nearby and I love it. In that other community I lived on the 2nd floor and had to use the elevator multiple times a day. Here at Five Star everything is on one level and I can walk right out of the door to my car. I have friends from my old community that moved here too. I even have a relative that lives right down the hall from me. I am very happy!!

[name removed] and [name removed] made my mom feel right at home. The nurses and staff at 5 star treat mom well, and mom feels comfortable and right at home here. She has been here for 5 months so far and is enjoying herself with all the activities that are available.

Morningview at Irving Park is very nice to Veterans and even offer a Veterans discount!

Overall the experience is good, the cleanliness is great as well as the staff. The meals however could be better but the activities are very good. The value for cost is very good as well.

There have been no issues. Staff stays in contact and my mom loves her apartment. Administrative staff is great, always available. Nurses stay in contact for any needs or concerns, building is clean and the value for money from any other facility is amazing.

Morningview at Irving Park is definitely a five overall. In my opinion, all assisted-living facilities should follow their lead. Morningview at Irving Park has set the bar really high and my mother loves it there. And she is thriving.

My Aunt is no longer at Five Star Residence at Clearwater. They were wonderful to my Aunt and a great staff. Unfortunately, she's had to move to a memory care facility, which is beyond Five Star's care level.

What our family likes the most about the community is that our loved ones room is steps away from the dining area and the court yard. The staff members seem competent and caring. and he just loves the staff and feels cared for.

The staff were very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and caring. They treated the patients with dignity ,respect and kindness. They were polite and patient with family members . I would use Morningview at Irving Park again for my mother's care.

[name removed] has been a God send. She took her time and was very kind and patient with Mom. She genuinely cares. That is the most important thing to us Now that our roles are reversed. Thank you [name removed]. The food is the best! Nice and clean facility and jam packed with activities even joy rides. [name removed] the Director made everyone feel right at home. Our worries are minimal now. The entire staff is great! Not to mention the best prices in all of Indiana and she got to keep her little dog, too. We love this place and Mom does, too.

Could not have been better!! The staff is amazing. Definitely go there!!

Mom is at Moringview at Irving Park and she is very happy there now compared to her last facility. They are all great! The staff is very caring and loving. The staff has also gotten to know my family. It feels more like a family.

The moment I walked into five star at Clearwater for a tour I felt the warmth of this community. The facility itself is well kept, clean and with a warm and welcoming feeling. Staff are truly there to help the residents, evening helping in ways that may not be under their job titles. The residents seemed to enjoy the community activities and programs. My father is happy with his unit and the services offered. We look forward to building relationships with both the residents and staff.

The virtual tour with [name removed] was great. I then went in person to see and found a studio apartment for my mom to move into from another assisted living facility. The rate is half the price. She loves it. We downsized, organized and she is happy not to have to worry about the cost.

[name removed] was so very helpful helping me through the process of getting my father set up and settled in. All the staff at Five Star at Clearwater are all so friendly and willing to help their residents

My dad has been living at Five Star Residences of Clearwater for over a year. The staff could not possibly be any more wonderful!!! From the front office staff to the dining staff, everyone is so amazing and accommodating! Every staff member knows my dad by name and that gives me so much comfort
