Farmington Hills Inn

When I met with the business people and had a tour I felt that the care, staff and cleanliness was good. I just liked the other people that I met on my other tours. This could be for another family.

The staff at the Farmington Hills is very nice and accommodating. The price for this place was right, very reasonable. The proximity to myself and family was the biggest factor in our decision. The community is close by. The only thing I would like to see change is I would like to see a social worker or psychologist available to the residents, my mother has been suffering from some depression and I'm sure it would be useful for all of the residents.

I think is is very fine with acceptable level of care. The up keep the facility very good, clean, and it is nicely decorated. They have a beauty shop and my mom is pleased with the service and they just charge it to her room. My mom likes the workers here. The price is right for me, simple and not fancy. She likes the meals they serve, it the main thing she likes. They have bingo, library, and outings. They are good with communication, options and services.

This is a nice community, my tour went pretty well. The staff was kind and friendly. From what I saw everything was nice and clean. It appeared to be well maintained, which was nice. We would had to have signed a lease in order for her to move, and I didn't feel very comfortable with that. It was good tour, this is a pleasant community.

The community is very nice and the staff is great. The staff is very good about keeping me informed about what my loved ones needs and the current state that my loved one is in. The community is also kept very cleans. I have never had any problems with needed something cleaned.

It was a hard transition at first for my mother to this community. Now that she has a had some time to adjust everything is working out well. This is very lovely community, it is very well maintained, everything looks nice and clean. The staff and director are amazing, they are great to work with. Everything about this community is fabulous. They provide excellent care. I know my mother is in good hands. I would absolutely recommend this community.

Very nice memory care community. Staff seemed attentive and caring with a lot of extra activities that the residents seemed to love.The ONLY issue I had was the smell of urine upon entering the memory care unit. However that could have been a recent accident in the dining room. The rest of the unit was clean and free of smells and was neat and clean. Residents were HAPPY and displayed bonded friendships with one another

My aunt enjoyed her stay at Farmington Hills Inn. The staff was wonderful to work with. The only problem I had was when I picked her up and they gave me her medication they also gave me another residents prescriptions. I questioned it when I saw it but they said her doctor ordered it. When I got home the name on the items was not my aunts. They came and picked up the other prescriptions. I will definitely use this facility again.

They were extremely welcoming and made our transition very easy. They really made you feel like they truly understand what you are going through and care. The only thing I can think of where they might could improve would be for their aids to have a little better understanding of dementia. Overall though they have been great.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. However, this facility was also on the larger side and I thought my loved one would be more comfortable in a smaller community.

Overall I think they do a good job at Farmington Hills Inn. The people here are friendly, and they do a good job looking out for the residents and keeping the place looking clean and well kept. My one suggestions would be that they make it a little easier to families to get in touch with them, it always feels a little disorganized when I try to contact them, in terms of getting in touch with the right person.

The Arbor Inn is a nice place, but it did not end up being a great match for my loved one in terms of the care they offer. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff are friendly. However it was just too large a facility for residents with dementia or memory care issues to easily navigate.

I toured here recently. It looked pretty good. It was clean, and everyone was friendly. I felt like this would be a good fit for my loved one. I would rate them pretty highly from what I saw.

The people at Farmington Hills Inn are very good at dealing with my grandma, which is no small task. They have been overwhelmingly friendly and have made it a pleasant experience. The only area I can think of where I can offer a suggestion is that the first bill did not come in the mail in time and that created a small challenge, but other than that it has been a good experience.

The staff at The Arbor Inn got to know all the residents by name and got to know them personally. They also really went out of their way to accommodate any diet restrictions or other concerns. One thing I can think of where they might could improve is this: I think that they needed to have more nursing staff. There was only the one main gal (Roberta). Roberta was excellent (very caring, gave you her undivided attention, did an excellent job, etc.), but it was all her. The poor lady was overwhelmed and really needed some assistance

The assisted living portion of this community is very nice. They have some very spacious suite style rooms, and the facility itself is well kept and clean. I have church friends with relatives here, and they seem to do a good job taking care of everyone! However, I will say that based on what I saw I would not recommend them for memory care. When I toured the memory care portion there was a very strong odor, and there did not seem to be enough staff to watch the residents very closely.

Overall I think they do a good job at the Farmington Hills Inn. It's a clean, nice looking community, and they provide a good amount of activities and amenities for their residents. The staff are all exceptionally friendly, and are all very helpful and professional.

The Arbor Inn is very homey and comfortable. It is not big and overwhelming like some other communities. The friendliness of the staff really stands out. They obviously care about the residents and really know who they are. The food is good for the most part. Overall, this community can meet the needs of all different types of residents, and it was the perfect fit for my loved one.

My loved one’s room’s cleanliness would be a five, but the overall building is a little older. The population seems to be on the more advanced end of the spectrum. My loved one seems to like the food. They have a new chef.

Small and pleasant facility. Clean and neat, staff that we met were friendly and helpful.
